 + -1 moreI wish I would have read this before we hired him. He did do a good job on our small restroom, but he didn't communicate and was always late. We recently hired him to do work on my husband's mom's trailer, his son did a terrible job, didn't finish what we asked and was paid for. Armando said he would go and fix it never did. Now he won't answer our calls and still has our keys to the property. We paid a lot for the incomplete job, they kept our supplies we paid for. It's been a mess, I am so disappointed he is a good salesman is all I have to say. We have spent all our savings on this property only to have to have someone else come and fix their mess. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY OR HIS COMPANY!!!
Description of Work: They did flooring, the flooring had gaps and some of it is coming off, fixed 2 bathrooms that the flooring had sunken in on the trailer. Fixed a railing, put two vanities in, broke the mirror didn't caulk the vanities. We paid 3500.00 for the flooring plus extra supplies which they took the extra supplies with them. The labor charge was 2800.00 plus.

 + -1 moreOverall, he took my money, showed me some trim stain options after a delayed period of time, and then never showed up for an appointment or did any actual work at all. He is a thief.
Description of Work: We hired Armando Arballo, 24 hour handyman, to do some simple trim work. He quoted us $300 for the project. He asked for a $175 deposit for materials which I paid on 7/4/12. I wrote a check for $100 and gave the remaining $75 in cash, mistake! He was supposed to go that same day (7/4) and pick up materials and stain options for us choose from. Since he got the money, we have seen him only once, a week past the date of the deposit, and that was to show us our stain color options, and only after repeated phone calls from me asking when he would bring our options by for us to pick out. He has not actually shown up to do any work. He will tell me for example, "I will be there Thursday at 9 am", so I take off work to wait for him, and low and behold, he never shows. I usually give him about 30 mins - 1 hour before I call and check his status. He always tells me he is running behind on another job and will call me to reschedule. This has happened to me at least 5-7 times with him. He does not call me back to reschedule, I always have to call him and make him give me a day and a time. He's yet to show up to a scheduled appointment with me. I called him again this morning after not hearing from him at all in over week, and he says he will be here Wednesday, but I highly doubt he will show up. He is a complete waste of time and a theif. I do not recommend using him for anything! If you choose to hire him, DO NOT pay him anything until his work is complete, if you do, have a signed contract. I learned my lesson the hard way. He seems like a con artist who just takes the money and runs.

 + -1 moreI had to call him several times before he actually showed up, which is not a good thing! If he wanted more business he should contact his customers sooner!

 + 0 moreHe is pretty reliable. He saved me some money on fixing the tub. He gave me a glaze to put on the tub. He placed old fashioned knobs on the doors that no one else could do. His work is guaranteed and if something is not the way it was suppose to be, he will come and fix it. He is very knowledgeable for a handyman. He is very nice and comfortable to have around. He is very busy, but he will get back to you.
Description of Work: Fixed my tub. He also fixed my door.

 + -1 moreThe project was unsucessful, he stated if I gave him the money upfront he would get started and complete the job, he took the money and never actually started the project. We tried several times to contact him and he never responded. We even filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau so please beware of this company
Description of Work: He took my money and never even started the project, telling me all the time that he was finished with the house and never even started on it. I would never use him again. Very unprofessional.
