Work went fine, A/C technician was very professional and discussed his findings with me.

The service was great. The person showed up on time and was clean and professional looking. Performed all services quickly and without any trouble. I purchased a special from Angie's list and he had all the details and gave me the credit according to the offer. I paid with credit card, which was very convenient.

They contacted me pretty quickly and I called them to schedule. They were a bit evasive about scheduling, and then told me that they only came on one specific day a week. I think they could have been a bit more forthcoming in their advertisement.

After 3 hours the a/c started dripping again; called the office, an after hours guy came out. Told me I needed to have the a/c unit reinstalled because he couldn't get to the drain; said the original install was done incorrectly. Told me he would meet with his boss this morning and would call me today, Monday, with an est...... Haven't heard from anyone, just crickets!

It was fine. I didn’t have any problems with their responsiveness and punctuality. They were professional. They came in, did the work and cleaned up. There weren’t any problems. The price was reasonable.

Got the downstairs gas system working , and said the compressor on the downstairs unit was frozen and I needed either a new compressor or a new system for a cost of 6000 to 9500 dollars. Today I went outside to check the circuit breaker for the downstairs unit and found it had been switched to OFF... I reset the breaker and turned the unit on and it appears to be functioning perfectly... it would seem, that the technician thought I was an easy mark or something.. this borders on being fraudulent and is totally unacceptable to me. I will never use this service provider again...!!

The technician was very professional and helpful. He identified the location of the rattle, fixed it, and gave me recommendations for servicing the unit and life expectancy.

First of all, when I called the woman was very nice and made my appointment. The service rep. was nice and knowledgeable. He gave me an estimate to fix the unit and I was somewhat amazed it would cost approximately 500.00 to fix the unit. I can understand wanting to make a bit of a profit but it just seemed to much. I went on line and found the replacement fan for 126.00 and replaced it myself. It took 10 screws and then plug in motor connector. It runs great now. They seem to be a good company just a little pricey!

I was really pleased with the office staff and the A/C Technician who repaired my system. They were honest and did not try to sell me any extras or fix anything that was required. I maintain a list of good!!! contractors who repair work for me in all areas of home & auto repair, I have moved this company to the top as the first to call for A/C repair. I highly recommend them.

Scheduling was fast and easy using the $55 diagnostic deal through Angie's List. Messages/emails with the business were very fast and efficient. Glen came out and was very knowledgeable, polite, and honest. He even put up with me asking a ton of questions as he performed the diagnostic/repair. I will not hesitate to call them again and I know I will have to with my 10+ year old units. Thanks guys!

I purchased the special for the $55 furnace check-up including a $50 credit toward services to have our heater checked out. The fan was running constantly and would never shut off. They came out the SAME DAY that I purchased the deal on Angie's List. The technician was very courteous and professional and after checking the heater, determined that our thermostat needed to be replaced. He had one with him and replaced it quickly and they applied the $50 credit to the new thermostat so it was a great deal. I would definitely recommend them and we will definitely use them again!

Was happy with the service I received from Walker. It took a couple trips for the technician to complete the work, but this was because my A/C unit was on the roof of a three-story condo in uptown. Once they determined the equipment that was necessary to complete the job, they made me feel like I was their top priority.

Finally I called Walker on the day we got 4 inches of snow, and while Kathy couldn't guarantee someone would be able to come that day, she said she'd try if the roads improved. Around 1 pm, I got a call from a technician saying he was on his way. The technician was professional and friendly, and efficient. I was so relieved to have them be able to come on a day I was already home from work. Really impressed with everyone at Walker, I will definitely use them again!

The job went well and the work was performed promptly. The technician did not have the part, but said he would have it the next morning. He rigged my system to function well enough to cool the house before he left. He returned the next day to complete the job. He saved me in excess of $2,000 by my estimation. Another A/C service company wanted to replace the entire airhandler.

I only wish I had made the decision earlier to contact this company. I needed to replace the furnance in a rental property. For serveral years I played part of the month with this unit. I finally decided it was time to get quotes (5) and contacted companies in Angies List for bids. Walker is the only company that bid just on the furnance portion of the HVAC system. The other companies quoted for an entire system presenting the furnace portion at a much higher price when asked to break it out. Walker originally only quoted for the furnace. But I inquired about the AC coils above the furnace and the price was good enough that I added that in too. An added kudo for Walker is that the AC system was down due to the blower system failure of the furnace. Our mild summer was being replaced by 100 degree temperatures and the July 4th holiday was coming up on the calendar in a few days. Walker got the new unit installed July 3rd. WHEW!! And my renter was cool on July 4th. I have not had a request for service problems from the HVAC system since the new furnace has been installed. And I wish to nominate them for Outstanding Service Providers.

Randy came and checked out my Heating/AC unit because it wasn't Heating enough. I changed the filter a couple of days before he came and it cleared up the problem. He did diagnostics and found all was working properly so said I didn't need any repairs. Also told me that the service call is good for 30 days so if something stops working to give them a call and they'll come back out for free.

Everything went perfect with every exchange we had with them whether it was on the phone or at the house. They came on New Years eve on NO notice. We appreciate them getting our unit up and running during an arctic blast. That was a quick fix. We had a major job to replace the heater left to do. Earlier we posted that we were having an extremely difficult time making a decision about who to install our new heating and air unit. We never could decide between the two companies. We finally made our decision based on getting a type of unit that Walker does not sell. Walker sells Trane and we finally decided on Carrier. We are extremely happy with the company we ended up choosing--in fact they are another perfect company, however our one regret about choosing Carrier was that we could not hire Walker. If you are getting a Trane we would highly recommend Walker.

Walker Air Conditioning & Heating was one of several companies I invited to bid on replacing my ancient furnace and 20+ year old condenser. They provided a very competitive bid, but for numerous reasons I went with another company. If you're looking to save money and still get quality service, I would encourage you to take a look at their work. In the past, they have serviced my old system and did a great job then for a very reasonable price - which is why I considered them (along with their high ratings on Angie's List).

I called in the morning because my heat went out during the night in downstairs unit. As usual, a friendly lady answered the phone (no miserable "phone trees" with "Press 1 etc. ). Glen showed around 4 that day. He diagnosed the problem, put in a new control board and my heat was back. These folks are great.

We are relatively new to Angie?s List. Before joining our experience has been this: Over the years anytime some major appliance would break down we would have to approach the situation with great trepidation. Each company we contacted, each individual repairperson we spoke with, we had to wonder what could go wrong, would we be over charged, would the workpeople sent out be competent. Often, even after talking with several companies we did not feel at ease about going into the job, didn?t know who to choose. So when the heat went out during the holidays we became worried. There are two 90 year olds in our households and the heat just cannot be out in the winter even for one day. There are two units and they are old. We knew we would have to replace them and getting several estimates. This was going to be a huge job and purchase for them to make at their age. It was a day before New Years Eve. My mom started the process nervously asking, ?Well, do we know anyone who would know of a good heating company?? I looked at her smiled, ?Mom, we have Angies List now!? I got on the website and picked three of Angie?s A rated companies, called them and in minutes we had three companies coming out the before and even on New Years Eve to give us estimates. Each company took amazing care preparing the estimate, thoroughly evaluating every aspect of the potential job, teaching us along the way, and each person from the office rep, the sales rep, the technician/s so polite and accommodating. They did not get all those A?s at Angies by behaving any other way. So now we have had our estimates, thanks to Walker we have a temporary fix to the heater that has taken off the immediate pressure to repair it before the holiday was over. Corey was super available and helpful on the phone and answering questions. So we are making our decision tonight and we are in an altogether different kind of dilemma than we have been in with past repair experiences. We don?t know who to choose from the three companies because they are all so excellent, they each did everything right and we don?t know who to choose between them. Thank you Angies for making these decisions harder for the best of reasons and for connecting us with such wonderful people, who care about the quality of their work and the jobs they perform.

Randy Walker is the best. I had a condensation leak inside my house and was told by an A/C person that the whole unit would need to be replaced...I knew better...I asked Randy to take a look and he determined that the drain line was routed incorrectly and fixed it. It's been working now for 2 or 3 years...He is great...I would recommend him over and over again.

They were prompt in arriving first thing next morning. Accepted coupon readily and provided instructions on how to handle the coupon by paying for it first through Angie's List. Used technical equipment to get a technical reading on the efficiency and output of unit. Replaced part that was showing below normal reading. Unit working properly since then. Very happy with the ease of the transaction. Will definitely recommend and use again.

The gentleman was here for a few days due to the complexity of the problem, but he was able to resolve the issue. Furthermore, scheduling was easy, they came out right away, and their repairs have saved us from buying a new unit altogether.
