Description of Work: I had bought an a/c from Walker 2 years ago which I wrote about in 2010. There were several problems then but at that time I gave them a good grade because they tried to make it right. My new a/c that I just bought 2 years ago, drain line is now clogged. The pan is rusty and the water is not draining there's alot of water in the drain pan. I also noticed the water dripping outside. This is what happened the 1st time when I had to buy a new a/c and they misdiagnosed the problem (when the water burst thru my ceiling. I told the receptionist the problem I was having she was very nice. She put me on hold. Randy came to the phone and said you have a question about the pan? I told him I do not have a question and explained the problem. Randy said it's normal for the pan to be rusted and full of water. I said with a new a/c that's only 2 years old. He said we must have a sewer problem! He said they would charge $180 to clear the line and for the trip charge. I called someone else who repaired it for much less and corrected some of the pvc pipe to help it drain better!

Description of Work: This is the first time we used them, so I'm not sure if I can give them an A-rating yet. We manage several rental properties and require the services of an a/c and heat company frequently. We have used other companies, that in the first few service calls did excellent, and went downhill from there, anywhere from skyrocketing prices to poor quality of work. We've been burned a few times before by other companies that earned our trust from their first few jobs with us, hoping they continue to be trustworthy. As soon as we lay our trust in them and don't really check their work, that's when they slack. So hopefully, Walker A/C is not like these other companies, since they've been in business for a long time.

Description of Work: I see Walker all the time. It was a couple of wires that touched and melted, literally shorted and melted. The switch would malfunction and kept shorting the electricity. Every time I turned it on, that short caused it to short off. They came and replaced all that.

Description of Work: AC stopped blowing cold air. I called a bunch of Angie's list places for emergency evening service. Walker was the last one I called and the first one to respond. I then told him my husband had figured it out - workmen in the garage had overloaded the circuit with the AC on it and blown the breaker. Even though they didn't come out the fellow even inquired about what breaker - probably to assess whether we had a reasonable explanation for the breaker trip - which shows they are thorough as well as prompt and professional. Guarantee - next time our AC goes out, we are running to call Walker :)

Description of Work: DAve came in serviced the old a/c unit and recomended that we change to a up dated and newer model. they changed the whole system in one day he was very informative and truthfull. I would recomend him to anybody.

Description of Work: I called Walker A/c this morning for service because m y A/c was not putting out cool air. A female answered the call to" how may I direct your cal"l. I told her my A/c was not putting out cool air. She put me on hold. I held and held and held. Finally a female voice said "hi Daddy" i advised I was a customer. She responded "oh I'm sorry" and put me on hold. I held and held and held. and finally I hung up because, I was put on hold for much too long. I then called another provider on Angie's list and I got immediate response and was told they could have a service man out within two hours.

Description of Work: My a/c went out on a Friday and the company I normally work with was not able to get a technician out to my house until Monday. Walker's was able to get out that Friday and they were able to honor my service agreement with my manufacturer so it didn't cost me a thing. The technician was very thorough. I was impressed.
