The Other Side of the Fence Lawn Company

Signed up with them a few months ago. Weeds horrible, called, no action, week later ordered a weed puller thing and spend 2 hours removing weeds (still not done), then got a letter from my HOA about how bad weeds are. We are literally, and its very easy to tell, the worst looking yard in our HOA.

Gerald came out 6 weeks ago and promised a quote in a week. Beginning several weeks later, I called twice and was promised he would get in touch with me. Now, about 6 weeks later, there is no answer and the voicemail box is full. I waited for him, losing business, and now I have to start from scratch again.

My yard got a complete clean-up! Cleaned up all debris, and hauled everything away.

My initial experience with this company was excellent. I was very impressed with the customer service and my first few visits went great!. We decided to plant rye grass in the winter, but it never really took. Gerald (the owner) suggested it was due to the fact we did it so late in the season or maybe that it was a "bad" batch. We had originally signed a yearly contract with the company and we were serviced for several months..(approximately 5 mows). Since the yard never looked as promised they didn't charge us for some services, though we requested invoices regularly. When spring rolled around I was very excited to get a head start on my yard and since we didn't have the worry of "being so late in the season" I felt all was good to go, but unfortunately this company just stopped coming. No phone call, nothing! Gerald sat down with my husband and I in February and discussed killing the rye grass and starting over and that was the last we saw of him. I called him in March and Gerald told me he would be out the following week. He never showed. approximately 4 weeks later, his brother came by and said Gerald asked him to follow up with me, but he had forgot. I told him since I hadn't heard from them, I had a guy around the corner going to mow for me the following day, but asked him to have Gerald call me. I still haven't heard from him even after leaving several messages. I'm very disappointed in how my entire service has been handled up to this point, and I guess I paid $240-$270 to have my mowed a few times and my flower bed cleaned out.

I am very happy with the service that was provided. Great experience!!! On the first day that the crew showed up, they brought additional plants that Gerald, the owner surprised me with as a courtesy. Gerald listened to what I wanted and made suggestions to better the visual appeal of my landscaping. His crew went beyond my expectations and my yard looks awesome! I was so happy with this company that I signed a yearly contract. I would highly recommend The Other Side of the Fence if you are looking for an honest, Christian company that does excellent work You will be very happy.
