Description of Work: We had Painless Pools clean the leaves out of our pool after being gone for the Thanksgiving holiday. We have 2 skimmer baskets, a kreepy krawler and a basket in the pump house. The water was tested, the one skimmer basket was emptied, the bottom of the pool was vacuumed, but the basket in the pump house wasn't cleaned out and the kreepy krawler wasn't cleared of leaves that were stuck in it, nor was the basket catcher for the kreepy krawler or the skimmer area that the hose for the kreepy krawler plugs into. So we still had to clean half of the skimmers and clear out the kreepy krawler in order for it to run. She was very friendly and punctual, but the overall performance of the work wasn't up to par.

I accept responsibility for the substandard work I did. I should not have taken a job, sight unseen and try to work it into my schedule. It had a lot more leaves than expected and should have been scheduled differently. Haste makes waste, I got distracted and didn't pay the attention to detail that I normally do. Still, no excuse, I called back and tried to make it right, offered a free clean.

I'm sorry [Member Info Removed] wasn't happy, but in all fairness his pool was in very bad shape when I started. It needed tile, plaster, the hot tub was unusable, frankly it was a swamp and he couldn't get repairs done. Pools in need of repair are always much harder to take care of. It was clean while I took care of it but was just too much for me to handle given its condition and I had to terminate the service. I later, on several occasions, gave [Member Name Removed] free advice and referred him to another service I knew of close to that area, I can only assume he hasn't been successful in procuring pool service from anyone.

The regular service is always superb.
Description of Work: This pool service is excellent, and I've been using them for several years. They maintain my pool on the same day every week, and leave my pool perfect in all respects. I can't say enough about the service ....... it's simply excellent!
