Description of Work: I contacted the through their web site and asked for a quote for my yard, explaining that my income is fixed ad limited. They never responded, not even a text or an email. Tell me something, don't just ignore me. I found it shameful behavior.

Description of Work: We recently purchased a house with a back yard that needed a lot of help. We really didn't know whihc direction to go. Dale came out, he was very professional (Wore Uniform Shirt) and spent time with us talking about our ideas and suggesting alturnatives. We were not looking to spend a lot of money having just moved and all of the costs associated with that. We let Dale know that. He didn't loose interest infact worked hard to make things work in our budget. He and his crew were on time. Unintrusive, Professional. As part of the job we had a small cobblestone patio install. Upon completion my wife that it looked great. Dale noticed some flaws. He could have done nothing as my wife was happy. He pointed out the flaw and then proceeded to correct it, even thou it was late in the day. Very happy with Miles Landscaping. Would use them again for Landscape needs. We have signed up for thier lawn service.Certainly the cost is higher than the gents with a mower and a pick up. But we know we will get quality service, professional, licensed and insured for liability issues if they arise. Would definately recommnd.

+ 0 moreI just started their services in October and I am very happy with the work they do. Dale is very honest, keeps communication with you, and he knows what he is doing. Some of my neighbors have seen his work on my yard and asked who I'm using and want his number. I've also used his landscaping services and I will review that separately.

+ 0 moreThe estimate I received was the best one and the only one that I could afford. I've been wanting to landscape my backyard for many many years and could never afford it, but thankfully for Dale he made it affordable for me. Dale and his helper worked hard all day on my backyard landscape. My backyard is now very beautiful and I'm very happy with it. It is about a month later and going into December and the flowers and roses are still blooming. I cannot wait to see it come to life more in the spring, and plant the remainder of the plants in his design. He had suggested the drift roses and the dianthus, which I wasn't familiar with, but I went ahead with them, and I am glad I did because they are beautiful and still blooming beautifully. I can't wait to see what my crape myrtles will look like in the spring as well. Everyday that I look out at my beautiful garden I am thankful that I found Miles Landscaping on Angies List.
Description of Work: Landscape design for back yard. Tilled & prepped beds, installed steel edging, soil, and installed appox 1/2 of the plants as it was during the fall, 3 crape myrtles, lilac tree, 3 knockout rose bushes, 8 drift roses, flat of dianthus, pine bark mulch, and will install the other half in the Spring of 2012, in which I will pay the other half (appox $800.00) after completion.

+ 0 moreSince moving into my new house in January I have looked for someone who does what they say. Have been let down by multiple companies starting out great and then fading. Have talked to a few who never show up. I found Miles on Angie's list and sent him a email. He called me back and told me he would do a bid. The same day I received a bid listing service he offered along with pricing. He has a price if he does your yard once or a different price if you agree to a year long contract. I agreed to the contract. He got my credit card information and told me he would see me Monday. I looked at my calender and saw Monday was a holiday (thought I would probably see him Tuesday). But Labor day (Monday) came and there they were. He told me he keeps his schedule and the only thing that alters his schedule is the weather. They have turned my yard around quickly and as part of the yard service agreement he tends the flowerbeds which completely change the look of my house. Very happy with his service
Description of Work: Needed to get my front yard and flower bed under control. I called Miles Landscaping and he emailed me a detailed quote on pricing and scheduling. I agreed to his terms. They are doing my complete front yard (mowing, edging, and maintaining my flowerbeds). Have made recommendations on what would help my yard in the future but I have not felt pressured. Good quality of work.

+ 1 moreDale just does a superb job.! His company has been taking care of my lawn and landscape needs since March of this year and has totally turned my yard around. It has gone from "shame of the neighborhood' to "showplace of the neighborhood." He's very knowledgeable about plants, pests, and soil. He always shows up on time and on the few times there have been delays getting to my lawn (bad weather for instance), he's always e-mailed me to keep me informed. He runs his business like a true professional. He's even contacted me regarding my watering schedule when it looked like my bermuda lawn was producing excessive seed heads. (I needed to cut back.) I've always been given a detailed itemized bid for any extra work such as the raised cedar beds he built and installed (which are beautiful) and the new flower bed areas he's prepped. I get invoiced via e-mail every month and can even pay my bill hassle free on his website. I just can't recommend Miles Landscaping strongly enough!
Description of Work: Weekly mowing, weed-eating, and edging, scheduled application of fertilizer and weed control, pruning of trees and shrubs, flower bed clean out, spot weed control as needed, preparation of new flower bed areas, and construction and installation of cedar raised beds for a vegetable garden.
