LONGHORN MOVING AND PACKING

I needed to move about half of my household to an apartment three miles away. I was told the movers would be at my house at 8 in the morning. They were several hours late. The excuse I was given was that since it was cold outside they were having trouble getting the truck engine started. I found this out AFTER I called, with no courtesy call from the moving company. They forgot to move a few items but did take very good care of the more delicate furniture. Nothing was damaged. When it came time to pay the bill they asked to be paid in cash and tried to discourage me from paying with a check, which seemed sketchy to me. After the move I realized something was left on the truck so I called and after a few days they did return it to me.

They handled our furniture very well and there was no damage. The men were very courteous and it was a good experience. We?ve moved a lot so we are familiar with the moving experience. We have a discount because we are over 65 so the price was good.

I called Longhorn Moving & Packing about a week before my scheduled move date and was very pleased with customer service as well as the price I was quoted for my move. I received an hourly rate for two movers and a truck and at first I was a little skeptical thinking they were going to "milk the clock" but the opposite was true! They were very fast, professional, hard working and polite. None of my items were scratched or broken by the end of the day. I was happy they didn't charge me for any hidden fees like a company did to me in the past... they're prices were right on! I've used a lot of movers in my time and for once I had no damaged or scratched items! This truly is a wonderful caring moving company I will definitely use again in the future.
