Jesus continues to do excellent work! He has taken care of our entire landscaping needs (lawn, sprinkler system, etc.) since 2004 and we just couldn't be happier. He is like family -- only better!

AMAZING! Mr. Olvera saved our landscape. A severe arctic front was on the way in 36 hours. We needed to use our sprinkler system BEFORE the freeze arrived to protect our landscape without creating dangerous ice, but it would not turn on. We called the original installer and he was too busy and totally unhelpful. Searched Angies list and called Mr. Olvera. He told me on the phone exactly how to fix the problem. He stayed on the phone until he was sure we were operational. I thanked him profusely and told him to send us a bill. He declined, as we were Angie's list customers and just asked that we keep his phone number. You can BE SURE we will call him when we need any work he does.

Jesus Olvera did an awesome job inspecting, testing, overhauling and upgrading our entire sprinkler system! Jesus is extremely thorough and knowledgeable about both lawn irrigation systems and landscaping. JOP's bid was less than half what we were quoted by 2 of his competitors and we feel we got more than our money's worth from JOP for the quality of service we received.

I called out JOP to do an annual check of my sprinklers, for heads, etc, and to check on what I thought was a sprinkler leak in front of the house. I also wanted him to fix the sprinklers in the back that I thought I had postponed from last year. It turned out that he had already fixed the back sprinklers last year, so he didn't need to do that. He inspected the leak in front and notified me that it was the water main, not the sprinkler. He did a cursory check of the entire system for repairs, and only charged me the standard service fee since no additional repairs/parts were needed. I called and he was able to come bright at early the next day. This was very convenient, because I could speak with him and then leave for work. I found Jesus on Angie's List last year, and I was so impressed by how polite, professional, and reasonably priced he was, that I knew just who to call when I needed the work this year. I would highly reccommend JOP.

They got here on time. Very responsive. To the best of my knowledge they almost repaired the system. I have called him back since to let him know somethings not working right, but I haven't heard back.

They were very responsive. They did a clean job. They checked to make sure everything was working right. They explained to me why certain things weren't working and told me how they were going to fix them.

We will use him for all of our irrigation needs.

Mr. Olvera returned my phone call the same afternoon I called and made an appointment for the next day. He was prompt and worked for about an hour. He made a point to tell me all he had done, but it was an extensive list and I remember all he did. I was very pleased and will continue to use his company if needed.

They were great! Not only did they do everything agreed upon in the backyard, but also did the flowerbeds in the front! I got more than my money's worth! They got all the weeds cut down and cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely use them again.

Called Mr. Olvera 3 times over a 3 week period - left messages with multiple numbers, explicitly requesting a call back to discuss work we needed done. Received no calls! Disappointing, since we had read good evaluation and we are close to his neighborhood. I realize that spring time is a busy time for irrigation work but no response to repeated requests seems unprofessional...... Still willing to consider Mr. Olvera if we don't find someone else to do the work.

I was very happy that he found the leak on the first try so that only a small portion of the lawn had to be dug up. He did this very carefully and replaced the sod so that now it doesn't look like it was ever touched. He came the day after I called as promised and was very professional and meticulous. I would absolutely call him again if I have sprinkler problems.

I called the company on 10/15 and an appointment was made for 9 am on 10/20. Mr Olvera and one helper arrived at exactly 9 am and I showed him what was broken. Sprinkler heads along the front curb were too high (put in by city after curbs were replaced) and 2 had been broken by lawn mower. Another sprinkler head near a tree was being blocked by roots. Two sprinkler heads in the back yard were stopped up. Mr Olvera and his helper completed the work in 1 hour.

He is a very knowledgeable lawn man and irrigator. He showed me the correct procedures on how to water my lawn, made sure everything was in order, and his prices were really good.

I really like the services of this contractor. They ensure that my yard is clean and even do irrigation and fertilizing whenever necessary. Their prices are also very advantageous and I recommend them highly.

Jesus came to my house as scheduled and started working on things right away. It was a good bit of work so they had to come back and finish up on another day. They couldn't have been nicer and didn't leave any mess. I will always call JOP for my lawn irrigation needs.

Street was being flooded by leak. Jesus came out immediately, fixed it quickly. Perfect as usual.

Jesus and his brother did an excellent job. They added and moved many heads in the backyard. Jesus was very concerned about getting as much work done as possible, within the hour of his first service call, so as not to cost us any more than the service call amount. All of his work has held up well so far. He also helped us to understand how sprinkler systems work best and reset our schedule for us on the system. Other friends who have tried to contact him, have not had their calls returned promptly or at all.

He is very knowledgeable and did a great job. He is hard working and always prompt. He is responsive when called and will provide a date, when he can give an estimate and perform the work.

Initial call was not returned. Second call to JOP was returned. I was told that my home was out of his usual work area. He said that he would consider travelling to my area to perform the work but did not call back to say yea or nay.

Excellent and arrived on time. Quickly diagnosed and fixed the problems with the system.

Jesus came promptly to give estimate, stuck to the estimate and did more than was required when they came back to do the job. We were very pleased with the work.

Jesus was always prompt and followed through on every aspect of the job. Too bad this is his only line of work because I would use his services in other areas.

My father recently passed away and I called this company to give us an estimate to maintain my mother's lawn. I figured that this company was good, as there were many good reviews. He showed up 45 minutes late (did not call to say he would be late). He talked with my mom, and looked at the yard. I was impressed - he showed us how to program the sprinkler system and his partner fixed a sprinkler head so I was willing to forgive his tardiness. He said he would call with an estimate that evening or the next day. That was 4 days ago and he never called with an estimate. I really wanted to help my Mom out, so I'm very disappointed with contacting JOP Irrigation. It was a waste of mine and my Mom's time.
