Ellis was prompt coming out and providing a detailed overview of the job and provided a quotation shortly thereafter. The crew arrived as discussed and performed all the work in a timely manner. While it hasn't rained yet, I'm very happy with the service we received. They're a reliable group and cost competitive.

He came within 4 days, on time. He replaced missing shingles, painted and oiled turbines and exhaust vents. He also advised me on maintenance and will alert me when the roof needs to be replaced. I was pleased with his work and his advise. And when I need a new roof, I will hire him to do the job.

Excellent! Ellis came earlier in the morning than his usual starting time for my convenience. Professional and informative. Told me what steps to follow with insurance company to start the repair of my roof.

I purchased his Big Deal. During the rain on Monday, I saw water coming through the roof down to my water heater. In his initial contact, Ellis said he was booked for several days. When I explained the situation, he scheduled me first thing the next morning (the rain had stopped and he wanted to get it fixed before it started again). He was fantastic. He found the problem quickly and fixed it. He also did an overall inspection of the roof and fixed a few spots where squirrels had nibbled. He showed me pictures of what he fixed - before and afters. I was very pleased and will definitely use his services in the future. He was very professional, worked quickly and kept me informed every step of the way.

The service was excellent!! Initially, we didn't think we'd get service on the same day we contacted the provider especially since it was so close to the July 4th holiday; however, even with a busy schedule, Ellis came through for us. He was prompt and professional and made every effort to ensure we were completely satisfied, including matching the missing shingles. Ellis made the repairs and also provided maintenance care to our roof. In addition, he also provided us with information that will enable us to keep our roof a bit longer. We discovered a leak in our roof after a bad storm the Saturday before Memorial Day. I gave Ellis a call expecting to leave him a message. Despite it being a holiday weekend, he came out to our house that afternoon, assessed the damage, and helped my husband set up some pots and pans in the attic that would tide us over until we got on the schedule. He was very professional, took pictures of everything he saw on our roof, and made sure to explain to use what was damaged and why our leaks were being caused.

The team of installers were extremely professional- they worked efficiently, cleaned up all of the debris, and worked quietly. The repaired areas are blending in nicely with the existing roof.

I could not recommend Ellis more highly. He was extremely professional and competent. He repaired a few minor problems and thoroughly looked over my roof. I felt that he was very honest and didn't make up problems that needed to be addressed just to make more money. He didn't find anything that needed repair outside of the deal that was purchased. He also gave me some pointers on things that I should do to the outside of my house to keep it in better working order. Whenever I have roofing needs, I will definitely be using Ellis again.

He inspected the roof, cleaned off debris from recent storms, sealed any loose tiles and made sure that everything is in order. I am very pleased with his service and will call him again when warranted.

Ellis Smith answered the phone immediately when we called over the weekend. He was able to see the roof right away and properly assessed the damage. He did an excellent job of replacing the damaged shingles, including gluing the edges of the new shingles to prevent them from lifting during a windstorm. Afterwards he took all of the debris and left the site in perfect condition. He was quick, thorough, efficient, clean, polite, and reasonably priced. Definitely an A+ rating.

He climbed on the roof and cleaned off all the debris. Then he secured tarps to keep water out of the utility room until he could come fix it. I am recovering from a hip replacement and he was my salvation

We had a hole in our roof left over from a recent kitchen remodel job. Unbeknownst to us, the old kitchen vent pipe was removed but the hole was not repaired. When the first heavy rain storm came, we discovered the problem. Ellis came out the next day after I called and put a temporary patch on the hole until he had the time to come back and repair properly. Within 2 days he was back and had the job completed very professionally and quickly. No more leaks. I would highly recommend Ellis Smith for his quality and timely roof work.

Shingles repaired and replaced on roof as expected. What was not expected was to discover a damaged lawn chair with several scratches on one of the arms due to a shingle landing on it. This was discovered when picking up various pieces of shingles in our yard after the repair and I noticed one of our lawn chairs was covered in shingle particles. When I went to brush off the layer of shingle particles I saw that the entire left arm of one of our lawn chairs was scratched up. An email was was sent to Ellis Smith explaining the aforementioned. We were not looking for a discount or any type of refund, but felt it necessary to address due to the uprofessionalism exhibited. Ellis Smith responded: "I tried to call you. My installers take all due diligence to be safe and keep the work space clean. It could stand to reason that since your shingles have been falling off for several weeks that one of the hit the chair, not that my installers did. We also clean and haul away all of our trash so if there are some old shingles in your yard then that is what they are, trash from before our install. We gave you great service on a dangerous job. Thank you for your business and paying the full amount of the invoice as we agreed." -Ellis Smith When speaking to Ellis Smith on the phone, he was extremely unprofessional and rude. He interrupted me several times raising his voice and prior to hanging up on me told me to never call him again. I would like to point out that our roof shingles were not falling off of our roof and did not fall off prior to the repair, we have pictures to prove from pictures taken for Ellis Smith. I would think twice before doing business with Ellis Smith Roof America when all of this could have been avoided if his installers would have moved our lawn chairs out of the area they were working above and cleaned up thoroughly before they left. Extremely unprofessional behavior from Ellis Smith.

Called Ellis based on an inspection report requiring minor repairs for the sale of a house. He responded on the same day and took care of the minor repairs. He is a true professional and I would use his roofing services again and would recommend him to neighbors in the area.
