I sent them a spec last year and they prompt;y responded. I asked to have it updated and they did. I mace the mistake of thorough;y going over mym pec and their bid. We both missed connecting. They did do sort of a good job, they didn't understand how to sister a joist and supplied OSB instead of plywood. We compromised on the price, about a 10% refund. Probably challenged their expertise, but I don't think many roofers would do much better in this market.

Ellis was wonderful. He promptly returned my call and came out Friday morning to replace the shingles. He found a few other spots that needed attention and took care of them as well. He told us that we should be good for another 3 to 4 years unless the area suffers another major hail event. I highly recommend this provider. I respect his honesty and integrity.

Mr. Smith contact me within a couple of hours of purchase to set a date. He was on time, friendly, showed photos of what he found on the roof and fixed it. A good honest individual and yes we would hire again!

They didn't try to upcharge us on a bunch of stuff we didn't need. They were on time.

It was fantastic! Everyone at the company was awesome! They were so helpful when it came to working with my insurance company. They were also very patient when it came to the insurance company being slow at sending us checks. The quality of all the work done was excellent. They were always prompt at scheduled appointments. I can't recommend them enough. I will definitely be using them again when we need something else replaced or repaired.

Ellis was great...he came out that morning and was actually early. He immediately located the problem and fixed it quickly. I highly recommend him!

I called Ellis on Tuesday, and he showed up the next day. Great guy. Very warm personality. I told him I had another roofer fail at fixing the leak and showed him what the other roofer did. I walked him through everything I knew and explained my attempts to find the leak. He pointed to an old opened sewer pipe and said "I bet that's it. Just cover it and see what happens. If it still leaks, call me, but I will bet that's it". No charge. I hope he's right. If he isn't, I will definitely call him back. He's earned my business.

Excellent. The crew arrived on time, removed the "Dutch Dormer" and patched the roof where the "Dutch Dormer" had been. In addition the crew removed all old roofing materials from the property. In summation, everything was done by the crew, that was requested!

Went well. I'm always wary of people in that business ALWAYS finding something expensive to fix. But Ellis was very nice, no pressure whatsoever.

They did a great job and cleaned up completely when they were through. I have used him before and knew I could trust him. The company is local and has been in business a long time so I know they will be around in the future if I need them.

Results have been mixed and will try to stop all leaks without further damage as circumstances reveal where the leaks remain

Ellis came out and inspected the entire roof, tile integrity, and potential leaks. I had 1 tile come off due to high winds. He replaced that. Since this is a recently purchased home, I wanted a professional roofer to do a thorough once-over and seal check. Would definitely use him again. Professional, prompt, knowledgeable and courteous.

I needed an inspection of my roof and Ellis contacted me within a few hours of my purchase. He sent me a detailed summary of his findings with pictures and suggestions as to a plan of action. He also answered my questions over the phone. I was very happy with the service. He did not try to "up-sell" me on any roof replacement services and I did not feel pressured at all.

Even though he decided not to touch the mess the previous roofer left (he explained why! He didn't want it to void my current warranty).... HE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO PUT ME AT EASE. He stayed as long as it took to help! I found documents, and pictures to go back to the initial roofer for repair. He even went as far as to do the inspection, explain everything in a detailed email, attach the photos that he took (for me to forward it to the roofer), AND TOLD ME TO GET A REFUND BECAUSE HE COULD NOT DO THE WORK! I will definitely be calling him back when I replace my roof.

Ellis was the only one who answered my called at 10pm even though the other companies stated they provide 24 emergency service. He came the next day to look at the problem and gave us an estimate. It was reasonable so we went ahead with the service. His team arrived on time and cleaned up afterward. He was so confident in the work that he didn't collect payment right away and told me to send the check after a few days. We're happy with Ellis and would definitely hire him again.

They said they fixed it but it wasn't fixed properly and they said they would need more money to fix it. I gave them more money but he still couldn't fix it properly. I contacted him again and he hasn't gotten back to me yet.

I had a great experience with them. They were really good. There was confusion on their part with scheduling. They didn't make the appointment, but they did come out the next time. The services were great. Their prices are reasonable.

We had Ellis out to the house on multiple occasions to repair leaks in our roof. He was able to patch up some of the holes but the age of the roof and prior repairs made it difficult to keep new leaks from popping up. We had multiple bids and Ellis' bid was in line with others. However, his professionalism and willingness to work with us on a very tight schedule (job needed to be started in two days and finished prior to Christmas Eve) is why we chose Ellis. His crew was very professional, cleaned up every day and left the place looking as they found it. They completed the job on time. I would highly recommend Ellis for any work from a small repair up to replacement of your entire roof.

Ellis Smith came out the same day I called him. I had an issue with a leaking roof. He was very professional when he looked at my leaking roof. He was able to diagnosis the the problem and outlined options to correct the problem. I appreciate his honesty and will definitely use him again when I have a need for a roofer. This is the second time I've had Ellis Smith come out to inspect our roof at our home in Keller, TX. Once was two years ago when we were renting out the home and wanted to check things over, just because regular inspection and maintenance is smart. The inspection and minor maintenance and repair work helps to give peace of mind that there is nothing going on with the roof that could end up being a bigger, more expensive problem later, especially with a part of the home that you don't often see up close. The most recent call to Ellis was because we'll be putting the home on the market and so wanted to check it over again. Each time we've had him out, Ellis talked to me about any minor maintenance or repairs he performed, including caulking and some shingle replacement, as needed. He also showed me and sent pictures of the roof, along with a written summary of what we discussed about the roof. Ellis is very knowledgeable about what marks are from and whether they represent an issue that should be addressed, such as a foot mark from an installer who stepped on a shingle on a very hot Texas day, or a white paint mark from chimney painters, or a small hail mark that will not pose a problem to the roof's ability to protect the house. As far as I can see, Ellis provides quite a lot for the money! I would use Ellis again and recommend his services to others in the area.

I asked that he send me a written summary of the work done. He did not. He said other things needed repair and he would send me what it was and cost estimate. He did not. VERY disappointed in Ellis Roofing. Would NOT use again.

They performed the work about a year ago. My roof is still looking and has fallen in. I would like them to resolve this issue. I was not very satisfied.

Excellent service ! It had rained hard and we had two water stains in the kitchen area. It was scheduled to rain again and Ellis was able to come as soon as I purchased the big deal. He even called me in the evening because he wanted to be sure I was on the schedule. He was very good at explaining why the roof had leaked, and what he needed to do. We had a hard rain the following day after the repairs and no leaks! Thanks, Ellis for coming to the rescue. I received your estimate for the repairs the inspector may call us on and as soon as we get a buyer you will be on the list to call.
