It was good. He came out right away. I wasn’t even at the house and he came and took some pictures and did all the stuff. I would recommend them.

The service turned out fine. The only thing I didn’t like is that he didn’t go onto the roof; he did the entire inspection from the ground. He provided me with a list of things that needed to be updated. Scheduling was very easy. He was prompt and nice to work with.

I had purchased the Big Deal Offer for $99 for the same. It experience went really well. He came out and did what I needed him to do. It was good deal I thought. I would consider them very strongly if I had any roof issues in the future.

I purchased this service from one of the "Big Deals" advertised on Angie's List. It was $99 for gutter cleaning, general maintenence and roof inspection. Ellis responded quickly to my purchase and provided the service within a couple of days. Knowing I was at work and unable to see the work that was being done, Ellis was kind enough (without my request) to email me over 10 before and after pictures. He also did a roof inspection and was very honest in the condition of my roof and gutters. Ellis was prompt, professional and did a great job. I will use him in the future and would highly recommend his services!

It's what he didn't do! He did not perform the service that I paid for!! I called Mr. Ellis Smith to come out and look at my roof, which was leaking. He went up on my roof, took some pictures and told me what the problems were. He was the 2nd roofer who I had look at the roof. The first roofer basically told me the same thing that Mr. Ellis Smith told me...that's where the similarities stop! I asked Mr. Ellis Smith if I needed a "cricket" in addition to replacing the flashing that was badly decayed. He said that a cricket was not at all necessary...which of course was totally the wrong. Two other roofers have told me that installing a cricket was absolutely a "must". He also told me that my title company would be able to help me rectify the problems because I had recently purchased the home. This was a ridiculous statement, the title company has no interest in settling any issues that arise after a home is sold. He supposedly did a "temporary patch" on the flashing till I could decide who to hire for the roof repairs...this patch was not done! I paid Mr. Ellis Smith $199.00 for this patch. Since Mr. Ellis Smith was at my home a chimney repair was done, that gentleman told me that there was no patching material anywhere on my roof. Another roofer confirmed his observation. I have hired another roofer to do the repairs to the roof. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY!!!!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was great. He was very, very good. He did a great job. They were here on time. I didn't spend any additional.

The roofing crew did a fast job and the entire removal, patch, and re-roofing was completed in a couple of hours.

Very courteous and punctual, felt comfortable with him at my home. Got honest feedback on needed repairs without a hard sell. Extremely pleased.

Ellis showed up less than two hours after requesting an estimate. He told me what was wrong and answered a few questions i had about the general condition of my roof. He showed up the following morning and did the needed repairs. After repairing the roof he walked me through what he did, and gave me more information about the condition of my roof. Ellis is very easy to work with, and is very professional. I will definitely use him again for my next roofing need.

Ellis Smith was very communicative and timely in his correspondence. He promptly scheduled a time to come to the property to perform the contracted work and invited me to be present while also confirming that my schedule did not have to be changed for him to be there. He came as scheduled, performed the tasks outlined above and follow up with a written report and photo record of the work that had been performed on our VERY steep roof. Without Ellis Smith's thoroughness, I would be challenged to confirm the repairs with personal inspection but his strong communication and documentation leaves me assured of the quality of his work and the evidence required should I need proof of maintenance on my property. I would without hesitation recommend Mr. Smith to any home-owner in need of roof repair or replacement.

Ellis Smith was prompt to respond to my initial email indicating I'd purchased an Angie's List service for/with his company. In less than four days, Mr. Smith was out to the house during my regular work week, performed the maintenance as agreed upon and provided a fully documented report of his service repairs. He was able to help me take care of my home even when I was unable to be home to help. This was a huge assistance and assurance to me. The work seems well done from my experience on the ground and the photo documentation reinforces this sense with images from on the roof itself. Thank you for a thorough, efficient and thoughtful job.

It went well.The contractor explained what he did and what caused the leak. He showed me via a diagram how this happened and pointed on the outside where he did the repair. I was most impressed with his promptness as I had waited a week for another roofer to show and all I got were calls and no shows. Since rain is predicted for today, I was desperate. I was very happy to have this fixed. If it should not be the fix, he will return again for no charge.

Second time using the service. As with the last time, his service was great. He was on time and completed the inspection detailing issues I needed to address. He took several pictures and sent them to me detailing the work he completed as well as the condition of three pipe collars that will need to be replaced next year. I would recommend his service to anyone.

Called for a quote on an insurance-warranted roof and gutter replacement/interior repair. Was told they would not even come out until they had an itemization list from the insurance co., which I provided approximately 2 hours after my phone call via email. 2 days later haven't heard a word back from them, but another company has already been out and provided a quote. These guys just didn't seem interested in the work, albeit an entire roof replacement.

He sent pictures as he was working on the roof. Good at maintaining contact during the process.

After determining the minimal damage, he replaced the missing shingles at no charge. That easy! Will definitely call him with future roofing needs & refer him to friends. He has great customer service! Thanks Ellis!!!

Everything looks good. Have not had any problems, They did a good job.

Sealed areas needed, validated by photos and description of work. Also consulted him about a falling soffet which we were able to remedy on our own due to his advice. Punctual, professional, and job completed efficiently. Would definitely recommend to others for good roof maintenance on your older roof that is not in need of replacing yet.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was not a good experience. I understood the guy was going to come out and do some maintenance and sealing. He came out and did a good job of sweeping the roof, but did not do anything or mentioning about sealing the roof. He told me I needed some repairs up there and gave me an estimate on doing the repairs, but I was not quite interested in that. He evidently dislodged some stuff around my chimney because the chimney immediately started leaking so I had someone else come in to repair that. They charged me a premium price to sweep off my roof and did not clean up anything. They were quick to get out here to do the sweeping, but they were not quick in giving me their bid. They did not give me a line item bid, it was just a single price. The guy that came out was nice, polite and courteous.

It was ok. They did everything well. They were great.

Have not found anyone able to determine where my roof is leaking without tearing it all off

Repairs went without issues. Performed repairs as requested. Very satisfied. Will use again as the need arises.
