+ -1 moreOver a one week period needed to come out 3 times to repair my gate. It was never repaired. On the 3rd visit they appear to have finally figured out the problem, but they actually charged an additional service call for that visit ( which was not disclosed to me, they simply charged my credit card on file). They recommended either a larger repair or replacing the entire system. I’ve called 3 times since then and left 3 messages with the receptionist to have either the manager or owner call me back, but have received no return calls. Clearly they have no interest in customer service or quality work.

+ -1 moreThe chain had broken in the ice storm on Friday. I contacted them on Monday morning and they were here the same day. I was thrilled that they were able to come the same day since they said the ice storm in Dallas, they had more calls than usual. I have used them in the past and will continue to use Dallas Automatic gate, inc.

+ -1 moreThere was a bit of lack of communication to me on date of work. They were to be at my home at 9:30 and by 11 no one was there. They had to go to another job and did not call me nor notify the receptionist at the office. I did have to call to get details and they did arrive by 1 and stayed until completed.
Description of Work: Had my swing arm mechanism replaced. Gate reset and additional pole add to block gap between home and gate. They came out the day I called. Provided quote and came out the following week to do the work. Great work. Very happy and would use again.

+ -1 moreThe gate stopped working again 2 days later with the same issue and my husband looked up the brand manual online and was able to trouble shoot it, disable the broken part to get it to function again. From our own research, it does need a new sensor, but my husband is going to call the gate company and order the part directly. I would have appreciated them going through the steps necessary to make sure it worked or did not need supplies/repair. Or at least notifying us that all they did was hit reset button to give us access to the garage again and they would come back with parts or to further look at it if that did not resolve the issue. We were frustrated with the service not digging into the real issue - just putting a bandaid on it.
Description of Work: I will say they are very nice and responsive. However, they did not fix the automatic gate, only reset it and charged quite a bit of a charge for that. While I was not home, both the electrician working on our house and our housekeeper stated he spent no more than 5 minutes, pushed a button and was gone.

Description of Work: They installed my gate in 2001. After eleven years, we have finally needed to some work done. The loop was messed up so we got a new loop. We got a new rebuilt motor for one gate and they did some work inside the box.
