Jim performed the initial repair. It appeared to have worked, but our shower head was broken in the process. He told my wife that we should get a new shower head by using the manufacturer's warranty (I was out of town). When I returned, I looked at the shower head and it was clearly broken. I did not feel that we should be responsible to follow up with the manufacturer to get it fixed when it was broken while Jim made his repairs. I spoke with Jim about this and he is now working to get us a replacement. It's been several days and he has yet to get us a replacement (but we do have a temporary shower head). More importantly, the shower has started leaking again and Jim has told us he needs to contact Moen (the manufacturer) to figure out how to fix it. It's been several days and the leak is getting worse and worse. We have yet to get Jim to come and fix it despite already paying him for the fix. We've contacted him several times and he has missed multiple appointments to come back to our home. So overall, I am out $213 and I still have a leak and I also have a broken shower head. Not a good outcome. At this point, I strongly encourage readers of the review to avoid Jim. I hope that changes soon and will be happy to update this review if Jim gets the leak fixed and replaces our shower head.

Tom Boshart answered his phone and came right over when I called, even though he was on his way to another job. As soon as that other job was done, he picked up our water heater and returned to install it. Mr. Boshart was prompt with a sense of urgency (comforting to me with a small flood in the house), courteous, knowledgeable, and instilled confidence both in the choice of water heater and in the installation. The total price, including equipment, supplies, and labor, was exactly what was quoted, which was $150 less than next lowest bid. Since the installation about 5 weeks ago, we've had no problem with the hot water, and both the water and gas bills are a little lower- no doubt due to increased effectiveness and efficiency of the unit. I'm EXTREMELY GLAD I found his name on Angie's List, and I will definitely call him anytime I need plumbing work. (Mr. Boshart said that he doesn't want alot of publicity on Angie's List because he works alone, being self-employed rather than working for a big company, and he's pretty busy. So if you call and he has to call you back or can't get to your job immediately, I assure you it will be worth the wait.)

He does a great job. A honest and humble man. Reasonable prices. Very highly recommended.
