+ -1 moreWe used A&E Plumbing on a couple of occasions only because they were hired by our property management firm. After several experiences, my impression is that Fred, the owner, is unprofessional and I decided I would not use them again. After several sub-par experiences, the final straw was when I needed a toilet changed and a refrigerator ice/water line replaced. Fred "no-call" "no-showed" on me after I waited all day at the property for him. The next day he called to say he was sorry and wanted another chance to do the work - he had a personal tragedy. I was sympathetic and gave him the business despite the "no show". Long story short, his guys overcharged me by about $150 and in addition, Fred would not honor the hourly rate he promised. When I tried to discuss over the phone, he refused; saying he was too distraught to discuss business. I certainly understand personal situations, but that was the case he shouldn't have done the work if he wasn't going to honor the price commitments he made or discuss business. There are better plumbers elsewhere.
Description of Work: Replaced a toilet. Supposed to replace a refrigerator water line.
