James came in and we walked through all the items I needed him to look at or do. He assessed what he could or could not fix or what needed to be replaced, He left to get a part and returned within the time frame stated. Performed all the work, including replacing the pipes under the kitchen sink - which was above the quoted work at no charge - since it was easier to replace than to try to connect the new disposer to the current pipes. James did an excellent job!

It is expensive ($200 per visit) to need plumbing service on Saturdays, but I was warned of this when I called in. He unplugged my commode, warning me that this could happen again as the type of toilet I had waws a low water type that was the big thing to use when the commode was installed. (My son who built a house in another city at about the same time confirmed this.) Sooooo, I ordered a new commode for the following week, and that has now been installed. Noticably noiser but works great.

I called around 10:15 and Pedro arrived at 12:40. I did not request ASAP service and did not indicate panic or an emergency situation so this was a very pleasant surprise! Pedro insisted on using boot covers even though I told him the house was scheduled for a professional cleaning the next day. He was extremely polite and very knowledgeable. Pedro reviewed various options with me and explained the pros and cons of each one. I travel a lot and Pedro took time to show me how to set my water heaters on 'vacation' so that I save on gas bills, as well as wear and tear on the water heaters. This was an added bonus! As he was leaving, Pedro took time to show me the corrosion on the part he replaced. I have been thinking about tankless heaters and will definitely call Baker Brothers when I get ready to make the switch.

Showed up promptly. Insisted on wearing boot covers even though I told him it was not necessary. Evaluated all issues, even telling me that it would be a waste of money for him to take a kitchen faucet/sprayer apart that didn't really need fixing because the problem was intermittent and not able to be re-created at the moment(better to wait until total failure to be able to evaluate the problem properly). Gave me a quote, explaining all of the problems. Started to work. Had to leave for quick run to get a part. When finished, he presented me with a bill that was less than expected because what he assumed was wrong with the bathtub handle was not as serious in reality. Very professional and efficient.

Fantastic work. I had one small hiccup on the hot water heater job I described, but it was promptly caught and fixed without my having to point it out (a different technician noticed the problem when he was at my house for something different; he spent several hours fixing it that day at no additional charge even though it was well outside the scope of the work he was there to do). Baker Brothers seems to price most of their work from a schedule, so I assume their prices are on par with the rest of the trade. They gave me a substantial discount on the hot water heater itself (labor was book value) and they offered me 12-months same-as-cash financing (I didn't use it, but it was available). Highly recommend.

It went very well, albeit with a small hiccup in the beginning. The original technician who installed the hot water heater didn't seem very interested in going in to the crawlspace below the house. As a result, he installed the gas connection to the pipe connected to the heater in the attic. I was not aware of it at the time, but this was inappropriate because of the pipe sizing. However, when I had another plumber out a couple weeks later to relocate some other related piping that I didn't have them do originally (my choice - due to cost), this second plumber pointed out the problem and then spent several hours correcting it, including re-running some of the gas lines under the house. There was no additional charge for this; the second guy was only doing a $100 job. I wasn't too pleased with the first guy who came out, but the second guy took such good care of both the job I needed him to do and correcting the initial problem that I have to give Baker Brothers an A overall. I've had them do several other small jobs as well and have been nothing but pleased.

I realized the water heater in my attic was leaking this morning. I researched plumbing companies on Angie's List and called Baker Brothers first. The woman I spoke to (I forget names) was very professional and friendly. The plumbers arrived shortly after the call (Craig and Mark) and reviewed my situation and gave me options (tankless vs. normal water heaters). I opted to replace both of my 40 gallon water heaters with similar units. The installation was quick and efficient. Craig and Mark were very professional and took steps to keep the house clean (drop cloths through the house) and to protect the clothes in the closet where the attic access is located. The water heaters are installed, the whole job was completed as quickly and efficiently as possible. I couldn't be happier with the service I received.

They are excellent. They go above and beyond the call of duty.

Water under washing machine during operation. Machine still under warranty. Repair man tested machine and showed me that water was backing up from washing machine drain. Called Baker Brothers who I used before. Technician was able to come out the same afternoon (Friday). Told me how much it would cost to clear the drain. Did it from the roof down. Tested washing machine to make sure it was clear. Honored Angie's List discount. Took about 1 hour. I thought the price was a little high for the time spent even factoring in travel time but he fixed the problem.

They were courteous and fast! I got what I paid for! I highly recommend them without any reservations!

Their equipment was very good. They actually found the leak under concrete. I would use them in the future.

Came out the same day and the final price was $30-$40 cheaper than their phone estimate as well as competitor's too!

They were pretty good, they were a little expensive but I did get a discount. I was in a bind, wanted someone quick and who would do a good job. They certainly did that.

It was a good experience. Their initial price quote was high, but they quoted it to me and I accepted. I've got no one to blame but myself for that one. They got the work done quickly and at the price they quoted, so I can't complain. They were extremely helpful on the phone. They faxed me invoices like they said they would. They showed up on time.

I think Baker Brothers was very friendly, very hard working and diligent. The only problem I had was that once the city said I could turn on the gas then someone needed to come through, bleed the lines and get the gas going again, but between dealing with the city and Baker Brothers it was hard to get anyone to do it. The city sent someone to turn on the water heater. I asked him about the house heater, range top and pool spa. He said all of those should be fine, but the house heater and pool spa weren't. I had to call Baker Brothers to come out again, which was another charge. Baker Brothers said taking care of the range and pool spa was the city's job, but the city said it wasn't. I don't know if it was the city's fault or Baker Brother's fault.

Now they want a service call fee, we'll see if they waive it.

Everything was great and exceptional, except the price was quite high for the work that was done. The guy that came out was very friendly and professional.

The estimate was the cheaper of 2 estimates. I chose them based on their professionalism.

Very well..the plumber performed the test and found no problems. He was courteous at all times. He actually broke a part of the inside tank and repaired it while here and reported it to me after the work was completed. He used protective coverings for his shoes to protect my carpet(without asking)and cleaned up the work area.

I recently purchased a new home. Some drains were slow/clogged (came up on the inspection), outside faucet wasn't working, water heater is 100 years old, and the washer drain line was small. I wanted to get some costs to repair/correct these items. I hadn't moved in yet so I wasn't that familiar with the workings of the home. The man who came out was professional, nice, and patient. He looked at the drains and said they looked fine, he replaced the faucet outside (unfortunately that didn't solve the problem) and gave me estimates for the washer drain and the water heater. I could only afford the washer drain and scheduled an appointment for them to come back. Due to weather we had to reschedule, which was fine. They showed up on time and immediately started to work. The job ended up being much more than originally thought. They ended up having to replace the entire drain line from the washer to the source rather than just the immediate drain pipe. This caused it to go a higher than the estimate, but not horribly. The two guys were nice as could be and explained everything that they were doing and going to need to do. I couldn't be happier with them and will definitely use them again when I have more plumbing work to be done.

I called on a holiday weekend and had Mike the plummer show up within 90 minutes. Very professional in all respects. Baker Plumbing uses a catalog to price deals so it seems standard and transparent which is good but the price wasn't much of a bargain. Still, I wanted the job done fast and right and the service met my expectation.

We selected a different contractor to complete the job.

They didn't overcharge me. They were fast at figuring out the problem and how to fix it.
