It took about a week to complete the job since the method used was to reroute the line to outside of the house to make sure the problem was corrected forever and the location of the original sewer line to the street was difficult to find (house was built in 1968). Service was seldom interrupted, the crew was clean cut, professional and friendly. I have used them previously to install a water heater (while this job was in process) and have been fully satisfied each time.

We found water leaking from our ceiling under our second story bathroom and called Baker Bros. Since the leak had stopped, they came out the next day. After some discussion, we and 'Mark' decided it was a toilet overflow and not a leak. What a relief. The toilet needed replacing anyway, so we ordered one that arrived within hours. During that time, Mark removed the old toilet, opened up two faucets that were clogged and had little flow, provided and replaced a flapper in another toilet and offered several options for yet another faucet that needed replacing (including DIY instructions). There was no charge for the extra work. I couldn't have asked for more. Their pricing is comparable to the big box stores and other plumbing companies, but for that same price you get an incredible warranty - up to 10 years - on parts and service. They are worth checking out.

They are just wonderful including the people on the phone, the serviceman, and even the guy who laid the tunnel in to the house. They are all very good, very professional, and very conscientious. They kept sending the same technician that I requested. He knew as he has worked in the house what problems we were having, what we had already done, etc. He knew his way around the house and knew all the different outlets and stuff. It was speedier than getting a new plumber every time. The only complaint I have is that it was time consuming and money consuming. Fortunately, the leak is not critical at this moment and it can wait until after the holidays.

They came on time; their response was very quick and I think they came two days later after I called them. They did exactly what I needed to get done and even gave me a quote for something they saw what might be a problem in the future, but, they didn't pressure me at all to get that work done. They just did a nice job.

The company sent out a young man who was pleasant and chatty, but obviously inexperienced. I was told he'd arrive between 8-9 am. He showed up at 9:50 am, and I was the first customer of the day! He just didn't appear to truly know where to begin searching to try and locate sewer lines. The estimated prices he gave me seemed so high I told him I had to think about it. Nevertheless I called back several days later and asked to reschedule him to do the work. I was told he'd hurt himself and had gone to the hospital. Another person was scheduled to come the next afternoon between 1-3 pm. Next afternoon, when I hadn't heard anything by almost 4:00 pm, I scheduled another plumber.

Well the one thing I do not like is when people try to cheat me. It is no way that a USR025A emergency stop valve(chrome) should cost 295.86, I talked to someone about it and they only paid about 140.00 and they said I got ripped off and somebody overcharged. Also to actually replace the faucet should not have cost 306 dollars that is not accurate and I need somebody to show me where it is accurate just like the emergency stop valve situation. In reflection even though I gave high marks to Gary's knowledge and expertise but the pricing was all wrong and I need a detailed explanation.

On time, finished work quickly and neatly.

They came out and quickly diagnose the problem. We had another plumber come before them and tell us something different. They saved us a lot of money by coming out and being honest. They not only diagnosed the problem, but they found that we had a cut extension cable. It was a problem that someone else had done. They helped us a lot, and did a great job!

Their people are excellent; they're polite, well groomed. This was the first group I felt completely comfortable letting them freely come in and out of the house. They do everything within - even plumbers with their master plumbers license has to ride with an experienced plumber for 2 years. I can't say enough good things about them; I was just completely satisfied with them.

The leak was so bad it was leaking underneath the street. I know I didn't use 1000 gallons of water in a month. The $375 was a lot better than paying those water bills every month.

Overall I am pleased with the service and was able to use the Angie's list coupon to get 10% off - bringing the price to $360.

We?ve called them a number of times before. They are very professional when it comes to marketing and follow-up. They tend to send people out who aren?t experienced and don?t have the right equipment. It took them four visits to properly install the tankless water heater while we were just getting cold water in the meantime. They hadn?t finished the job appropriately. They were very polite and professional, but I don?t think I would use them again. The last time when we had a clogged drain they had sent people out and my wife couldn?t pay enough attention. They couldn?t unclog the drain and didn?t bring the right tools or bring a camera to run through the line to see what the obstruction was. They still charged us for the time they were out there. I found that to be unacceptable.

I chose to call baker Brothers because they showed decent ratings and after hours service. My tenant called with a sewer backup problem at about 9 pm. I placed a service call to Baker Brothers. the Emergency service call is $200, steep but it is an after hours call so fair enough. The plumber arrived about an hour to hour and a half after the call and cleared a blockage from the main sewer line but the blockage remained in one bathroom. The plumber explained he could not finish because it was raining and too dangerous to go onto the roof to clean the drain via the vent pipe on the roof and that he will have to come back tomorrow. He informed me my bill was $420. The plumber returned the next day and finished the job. I was not provided any paperwork or report after it was done. I noticed later in the week I was charged nearly $700 on my credit card! $700 for 4 hours of work is incredible. I no longer feel sorry for Joe the plumber! Even my attorney is more reasonable. So I have contacted Baker Brothers office twice to discuss the bill as I was not expecting to be charged $270 to complete the job I hired them to do in the first place, nor anything more than the $420 I was billed originally. I also requested they fax me an invoice for my records twice now. Both associates I spoke with said they would fax the invoice and would have the manager, Joel, call me back. I still have no invoice nor has anyone called me back. I don't mind paying a good price for good service, but I do not settle for lousy service at a high price. In addition I was not granted the Angie's List member discount. Perhaps contesting the charges will get their attention. I encourage customers to look elsewhere for plumbing service. The price is high and service is not. I can say that my drains are working so Baker Brothers is good at cleaning drains as well as wallets. This is not over.

I particularly liked the people they sent out. They were very knowledgeable and easy to interact with. The same people tend to come each time.

The installation went fine, but took longer than I anticipated since the first sink was mostly completed (faucet, stopper, etc.) except the plumbing connections. There were two guys, both very nice and professional. Since the installation, I have noticed water standing in the base of the sink where the stopper and flange/ring were positioned? The one my husband installed does not hold water. I really dislike this little bit of standing water around the sink dropper flange since it is an oil-rubbed bronze finish and have to constantly dry it out. I received a call from the company which surprised me. They read the review and asked to come out at no charge. I was impressed by their follow up and realized that the way the sink was constructed, there is a lip around the stopper area. The standing water is more of the sink design and not the installation. Baker Brothers follow up and their responsiveness to my comments is really appreciated. I would definitely use them again.

They were wonderful and their prices were reasonable. Their prices were competitive with that of the other companies. Apart from that, the people from Baker Brothers Plumbing were very personable and nice. I got an estimate, right up front. So, I knew the amount I would be spending the job. They were very clean. They didn?t take a lot of time; they seemed very efficient. They were true professionals.

Very easy from start to finish. Chris W. arrived dug up pipe in front of house and did first test. Came back a week later and spent 6 1/2 hours testing each line to find leak. Came back the next week and excavated to the pipe leak, replaced pipe and retested the system. Each step of the way, Chris explained what he was doing and how much it would cost (in ballpark figures). In each case, he was right on the nose or UNDER his own estimates. Very pleasant man and wore his "booties" faithfully in the house.

I was very happy with Baker Bros. From placing the call to the installation of the pipes. Their response time was amazing. I had called another plumbing company first and still have not heard from them. I will used Baker Bros. for all our plumbing needs

Plumber arrived, evaluated the problem, offered several different repair and price options from simple to comprehensive, then performed repairs. All done simply and cheerfully.

James the Technician came on time and routed out the sink that kept backing up from the air conditioner drain. It took him a little over an hour. It has been four weeks and we have had no more problem with the sink. The only problem I had was at the end when I was getting ready to pay the bill the technician was trying to sell me a bottle of environmentally friendly drain cleaner for $50. At first I told him no and then I ask him if I could use my 10% off Angie's List coupon. He then asked me if I had seen there TV commercials. I said I had. Then he said they had a promotion that if I said I had seen the TV spots I could get $50 off the bill to be used to get the drain cleaning product free. So instead of using my coupon I ended up getting the product for trial and paying the original price. If I had it to do over again I would have just used my Angie's list coupon.

Very professional. The plumber did an excellent job in ensuring that there was no mess left from his work and used drapes to keep the area clean while he was working.

I called Baker Brothers, and scheduled an appointment. Bryan was punctual and very professional. He assessed the problem in the guest house as well as several other plumbing questions I had around the house. He was very helpful and gave me quotes on everything, as well as giving me practical advice on a couple of the smaller issues. He replaced the rusty part on the shower, which required a drive to a plumbing parts store, and in the end the shower worked as if it was never broken. I could not be more pleased with our experience.

I kind of think that they were on the expensive side but they did everything that they said they would do. They actually cleaned up after themselves when they were done which I've never had happen before. It was like they weren't even here. The water heaters have been working just fine. They're perfect. I definitely would call them again if I needed their services.

The experience with Baker Brothers was good and the price was in line with what other plumbers were estimating. The technician came on time and he cleaned up when he was finished.

They did very well. There was a little accident that occurred but they fixed it right away. I was happy with the work they did overall.
