They did a fabulous job. They were very knowledgeable. First a man came to make the diagnosis. He was very thorough and polite. He found a separate problem that he also repaired. Another crew came to repair the leak. They had to demolish the foundation and re-pour it. They were very clean and cleaned up after themselves well. The service was very good. I would use their services again.

Tech showed up and had trouble getting water out of the hole where shut off valves were. I helped with the digging and dug the hole in the rear of the house myselt while the tech finished the soldering in the front. the valves in the back when very smoothly. For some reason I thought I'd get a break in the price because I helped the tech with the work, but no break.

Very good. On time, called in advance of arrival. Bathtub faucet replaced. Will use again for sure.

The drain was clogged again on 1/23/2013. I called Baker Bros 1/24/2013 and explained the problem. They advised there was no warranty. I feel for $221 the drain should work for more than a month warranty or no warranty. I've had this done by others previously and it lasted several years. Baker Bros did return on 1/25 to examine the situation and again on 1/28 to correct it.There was some confusion as to who was paying but hopefully that has been resolved. I am completely satisfied and would give them an overall A.

The plumber did a good job. I would definitely use Baker Brothers again.

The company was appropriate and the plumber who came out was appropriate and professional. He did a thorough job of inspecting and making recommendations.

I called at 8 a.m. in the morning and they were able to get someone out in Dallas by 10 a.m. The plumber went to work putting together an estimate, filled me in on what the cost would be, and when I agreed he went to work. He had to dig on both sides of my walkway to locate a leak beneath it in my main water line and was able to find the leak, remove the bad section of copper, and replace it so that I didn't have to go an evening without water.

Our technician, Glenn, was very knowledgable and professional...he discovered that the flange was cracked (and showed me - it was crumbling) and the stop would't work. While the job ended up being bigger and more expensive than expected, we were very pleased with the prompt service and professionalism. We would not hesitate to refer Baker Brothers to others.

Everything went fine and the technician was very professional and likeable. Only problem: when we turned the dishwasher on after the repairs it leaked all over the floor exactly as it had prior to the slab leak diagnosis/fix - unless of course it developed the leak during the slab repair. I asked B. Bros to come and look at the problem and they confirmed - promptly - that the dishwasher was leaking. Now we have a new dishwasher and a $1600 hole in our kitchen tile but at least there is nothing leaking.

The service started well. I called and the service personnel arrived promptly and were very nice. Unfortunately they started immediately telling me how difficult the job was due to the location of the heaters and how I would have to pay premium pricing. They replaced both water heaters at a cost of approximately $4,000.00. Luckily I had them install two alarms on the new heaters in case they leaked and I did not want a flood in my attic. Unfortunately two weeks after the install one of the alarms began alarming. We contacted Baker Brothers and they sent out two service persons, the initial plumbers had installed one of the water heaters incorrectly. This caused me to go into the other attic to look at the install closely, the water heater in the other attic was badly dented. Water heaters don't have to look pretty, however, for $4K you would expect a quality job. While they were at my house the first time I requested that they look at my outdoor water faucet as it was leaking with a hose on it. They advised me that all I needed was a special fitting to correct the issue. They stated that they would drop one by the house. I contacted Baker Brothers main office to advise them of the damage to one of my water heaters and request that they drop off the fitting for my outdoor faucet. They sent out a service person who told me when he arrived that he didn't know about a fitting and that he would have to replace the entire fauce at $300. I had been told by the office that he would examine the damaged water heater while he was out and make recommendations to the main office. He promptly told me that a supervisor would have to come out and discuss the situation with me. No supervisor has ever come out. I recently had another plumber come out to the house for another purpose. He advised me that the work that was performed by Baker Brothers should not have exceeded $1500. Good luck if you are planning on using Baker Brothers.

i called a couple of days before Thanksgiving, expecting to make an appointment for the following week, and was surprised that a person would be out that day. The person that came out, David was knowledgeable, provided us with recommendations, discussed options, and gave prices for each task. He did the work we authorized, was efficient and clean.

We did have to reschedule after the initial appointment and they were able to come out the next day. The plumbers were very professional and we received a call about 30 minutes before the showed up. They installed a good brand of hot water heater. They cleaned up after themselves after the job was completed. Scheduling the inspection was a little difficult. We had to reschedule once due to our work schedule conflicting with the original date. They changed some of there staff and missed the second scheduled date for the inspection.

The pricing is a little high, but you definitely get your money's worth in service, quick responding, and quality of work. Join their maintenance program for discounts and fees removed.

6:30AM Christmas Eve our water heater started leaking water, overflowing the pan, and spitting water out from the top. I called another plumbing company but got an answering service. By 7:30AM I called Baker Bros because I had not heard from the other company. Mind you this was Christmas Eve, and someone picked up and told me they would be at my house at around 11am-12pm. Unfortunately the switchboard person got my address wrong. Somehow they got 'Grand Praire' out of 'Lewisville'. That delayed the plumbers about another hour. When they finally got here, they immediately told me I needed a new water heater. I knew nothing of water heaters as this is my first year of home ownership. They explained to me my options and went over pricing. After reviewing everything, I assumed since it was Christmas Eve that they wouldn't be able to install it until later in the week. But no, the plumbers advised me that they would drive to Ft. Worth (because all local warehouses were closed for the holiday), pick up the water heaters, and come back and install them that night! They arrived at my house again around 5pm and completed the work by 8pm..again on Christmas Eve. They were very nice, respectful, and all around happy to be of service at a time when they probably should have been home with their families. It was really much appreciated. There was no extra charge for it being a holiday. I started reviewing pricing of the water heaters they sold me and I think the price was on the steep side but the price they gave me included the parts, labor, and removal of everything. What they quoted me was what they charged. Furthermore the tanks I bought came with a 12 year warranty and when I asked what exactly that meant, they plumber advised me, 'We own it for the next 12 years. You have a problem, you give us a call'. They also educated my wife and I on how to properly flush the tank, light the pilot light, etc. Overall though, the fact that these gentlemen came to my house on Christmas Eve, pretty much spent Christmas Eve night installing a water heater so my family could have hot water (and nice hot showers for Christmas Day :) ), and didn't gripe, complain, or have a foul mood was awesome. I am very thankful for their service.

Overall, it was straightforward. He installed moved the plumbing into the wall and it only took an hour.

They knew what they needed to do and they got it completed promptly.

My house was built in 1940 so the plumbing is rather old. When the toilet starting acting up I call Baker Brothers. I had used them before and like the way they did business. They give you a price up front and in my experience, stick to the price. And they don't try to up-sell. They replaced the flushing mechanism and the flapper. Have not had any problems since. I use them again and my mom uses them too.

The repair went well. He came on time and listened well as I took him on a tour of all the things that I had wanted to get done to give me an estimate. He left and went out to his truck so that we could discuss what items we wanted done from the estimate and what we did not. I worked very hard in the 100 degree heat and I appreciated that. He was accurate on his time to repair on the items and left everything clean. The amount of the bill was exactly what he had quoted me. I had used a $50.00 Angie's coupon and there was no problem with that. He was very professional and I would use him again.

They were prompt and pricing was reasonable. The repairs worked for a few month but the flush stopped working properly after that

The experience could have been better. I don't doubt the water heater was installed professionally, but it is the other details that weren't as attractive in regards to the plumbers work. He had to remove some trim around the door to get the water heater to fit through the door frame into the closet. I gave him the okay, but was under the impression that he would be putting it back up once he got the water heater into the closet. I couldn't have been more wrong. Not only was the trim not put back up, but it was found out in the yard broken into pieces and left behind. The drain line that goes under the house and out one of the vents was poorly done. It could have been handled much more cleanly. I will now need to go out and figure out a repair to keep animals from getting in under the house because of how badly he damaged the screen that covers that particular vent. We had just had our floors resurfaced and the plumber was well aware of that fact, yet he took no precaution in keeping the floors nice and clean. He didn't even wear little booties or anything. The flooring guy came over for a final inspection as the plumber was wrapping up work and he noticed the mess and some scratches that the plumber had put in the newly refinished floors. He very professionally gave the plumber some words of advice on respecting peoples hard work and other peoples property. Last but not least, it appears as though he did not relight our other water heater or furnace so we woke up to a cold house and cold showers. I am sure Baker Brothers has a good team as a whole, but as it goes with big companies, you just never know who you are going to get.

As always, the service was great and they were prompt. Arrived on time and got to work immediately. Finished within 30 mins.

We've had different plumbers each time we've called Baker Brothers and they've all been good. They're helpful when we ask them questions but don't try to sell us extra work. They clean up after themselves and don't track in dirt, which was much appreciated. We've been quite pleased with how competent the plumbers have been.

We had a sewer line stoppage. We called another company, before learning about Angie's list, to come out. They attempted to clear the line, said they couldn't, charged us 200.00, and informed us we would need a new line. We learned about Angie's list, joined and called out Baker Brothers. They came out, were very friendly and efficient, cleared the line and offered to return any time we needed them.

The service call went great. The technician arrived on time when scheduled and he was very pleasant and professional. He showed me where the leak was and what was causing it. He gave me several options at different prices for solving the leak problem. I chose one option which was to replace the faucet. He suggested that I buy the part since that would save me money. I did that and he came out the next business day and installed the part. He again arrived on time and was very professional. The install was complete in about 40 minutes. I checked his work before he left and there were no leaks and cold and hot water were both working well. The price was a little high, but I am willing to pay extra for good service and good quality work, both of which were provided by the Baker Brothers technician.
