The work was done but he had to leave 3 times to get the right size housing to put in the wall. He did OK on it. When he was welding he melted the plastic housing and had to go get another one. He got it done but it took longer than it should have.

Showed up on time very professional . Complete all aspects of the job and had it correct the 1st time

The technician was on time, changed the water heater quickly and efficiently, and was able to come out on a couple of hours notice on a Saturday.

It went well, all was summed up nicely above. We eneded up doing the work ourselves.

Their price was on the high side but they were bonded and insured. In some cases, you will get what you paid for.

it was great. I had old hardware in my bath/shower combination and he was able to find a company in the local area that had the replacement parts needed to replace them. I was very pleased with the results. I did think the price was somewhat high for putting in the hardware since i bought the hardware and all they did was replace it. I have never used another plumber so i can't say whether they were competitive or not with other plumbing prices. He was very professional and arrived the same day i called and was very punctual. I would use them again.

We have an old house with, what appears to be, an old toilet in our powder room. Recently, we noticed slow draining of the bowl, frequent clogging, and overflows nearly 50% of the use. We called Baker Brothers to fix the toilet. The first fellow arrived on time, threw a couple of sheets of TP in the bowl, and flushed it (very scientific and absolutely replicating the challenge a bowel movement might present, I might say), told my wife ,"This is how old toilets are. You should consider replacing it. Here is a bid for $600". Wonderful and entirely unhelpful. I came home and the toilet overflowed twice that evening alone. This is not how this "old toilet has been", and I refuse to believe what the repairman, after his series of "tests", determined. I called Baker Brothers and told them I was entirely unsatisfied with their plumber's diagnostic skills. After a fairly lengthy discussion of me reviewing the possible causes of the problem (i.e., inflow volume or rates of filling, outflow rates of egress) and why some of the possibilities have been ruled out, they agreed to send a more senior plumber. Lo and behold, he discovered one of the potential problems we discussed; it was due to outflow obstruction from my wife throwing "toilet disposable" kids bottom wipes (apparently nothing artificial is safe to put in the toilet except TP). He removed the obstruction, told her that my toilet had an odd tight turn in the piping in the crawlspace, and it has worked like new since then. So, I would give the first repairman an "F" since he did not practice good diagnostics, did not diagnose the problem, and was decidedly unhelpful in recommending an expensive toilet replacement that would have done nothing to fix the pipe obstruction and its predisposition to clogging from the tight turn. I would give the second plumber an "A" for taking the problem seriously, diagnosing it properly, fixing the problem, and finding the contributing factor (e.g., the tight turn in the pipe). I would hire the second plumber again, but not the first.

They arrived on time and did an excellent job. They put down drop clothes over my floors, took the old water heater out of the attic, put the new one in the attic. The work was done quickly and the new water heater works great. Will use them again.

We had a good experience with them. They were unable to use the camera in the drain but they did solve my problem and now my pipes are clean. We would use them again in the future if needed.

The plumber was very knowledgeable and timely responsive. The subcontractor they used for the trenching also was responsive. The only dificulty with the work was the repair to the sprinkler system which occurred during trenching. They had no problem fixing it but they didn't insure that all the damaged sprinkler heads were properly working. I felt the price quoted for the entire job by Baker Bros. was very high. It was Friday afternoon and we had no water service so there was not a lot of time to get competitive bids. After signing the contract, the plumber offered a contract to be purchased that would enable a 15% discount, which economicaly was a no brainer. It seems their strategy is to sell the discount contract which will entice the customer to use them in the future to get a 15% discount on future work. This is a good deal only if their original quote is competitive, and not overpriced.

My shower handle broke and cause the shower valve to stick open. To make matters worse, I was unable to unlock the water meter at the street with a key because the lock was jammed. My water ran for about four hours because I couldn't turn off the water to main house. I tried turning off the broken shower valve using needle-nose pliers and other tool, but it wouldn't work. I called plummer after plummer in Angie's List, trying to find one that answered their phones after hours to help with an emergency. I had hired Baker Brother's once before, and it was the only company that answered the phone after hours. The lady on the phone from Baker Brothers tracked down a plumber for me that night and called me back. She warned me that there would be an extra $200 charge on top of additional labor and parts charges for the visit since it was after normal hours. The technician who came out was very professional and friendly. It took him about two hours to repair the broken handle and install a new valve sleeve. Fortunately, I had an extra shower handle that matched, so the only part he supplied was a valve sleeve. Baker Brothers may be more expensive than other plumbers, but it is the only plumbing company that answers its phone at night and can help you in an emergency situation.

Called early in the morning, transferred twice, andI explained what I needed done and was told someone would be out the same afternoon. No one came out, nor was there an phone call to explain why. This company may be under two different names and phone numbers. The website with the matching phone number I had was listed as Baker Brothers Plumbing and Air Conditioning. No address provided. Angie's List has a second company under the name of Baker's Brothers Plumbing. Different address and phone number. Very confusing.

Baker Brothers Plumbing & Air Conditioning did not fix my toilet and they cost a lot of money. They really didn't do much.

Great! Very professional, great quote, did exactly what they bid. Got a call after they had returned to shop indicating they had one extra air vent - did we see any that had not been replaced? We began calling on Baker Brothers in 2009 after a series of drain blockages and other minor plumbing needs. Baker Brothers is always punctual and you can often get an appointment same day or within 24 hours, for non-emergency plumbing needs. Their prices are a bit higher than going with a sole proprietor, but their professionalism (Baker Brothers plumbers always wear booties when entering your house and do a very thorough clean up after their work) is top-notch. And, they welcome Angie's List members and Angie's List discounts/coupons, making their fees more reasonable. We've only had one so-so experience and that was with the plumber sent to quote us on our master bathroom sink drain fitting. We did a new sink, cabinet and faucet install, but quickly found out the P-trap fitting was 1.25 inches versus 1.5 inches (at the wall). The plumber quoted us a $300 charge to do the fitting and install the sink, drain and faucet; our gut instinct told us "no." We were right....a $2 part from Home Depot and 5 minutes of advice from the Home Depot employee was the right way to go. We installed it ourselves for far less money. I chalk this up to the plumbers having to quote off price lists as part of their standard operating procedure. The best advice I can give is, use Baker Brothers for jobs you'd rather not do yourself and you will be quite pleased. And, don't forget to ask questions and feel confident the work and advice you are getting meets your expectations. Worst case, you get a quote and do it yourself!

They did fantastic. They were expensive but they were good. I liked them when they put our water heater in they were really good and quick and easy to deal with. You kind of get the feeling that you are not being cheated. They are expensive but everybody else is expensive. Sometime I feel if you go cheaper you are just going to have troubles. And plumbing is just something you don't want to have troubles with. I chose them over another company who wasn't responsive. I just thought Baker Brothers was better for the job. They left it pretty neat.

They were very professional. Worked late until the job was completed. Let the house very clean. I have already recommended them to my neighbor who had a slab leak.

There were two visits involved. The first was to determine the root of the problem, which was a leaking sink when the disposal was used. Turns out the disposal was very old, and showed signs of neglect. The second visit was to replace the disposal for us. No issues since the install. Overall very happy with the service. No complaints.

I discovered a river flowing down my front yard Saturday morning. I turned off the water at the meter and called Baker Brothers based on other Angie's List reviews. The lady answering the phone was very polite and understood the problem. I was pleased to find out they could repair it on Saturday. She told me they would call 30-45 minutes before the technicians arrived. Got a call back at 11:30 and the repair guys showed up at noon. The 2 service guys were also very polite and knowledgeable. They dug up a 4x3 foot section of the flooded yard and found the leak which was about half way between the water meter and the house. They repaired the leak, covered the hole, and were on their way within 2 hours. I was very happy with the fast and efficient service. I will definitely use this company again.

We bought a house in March and it seemed as if the previous owner hated the water taps because they were all busted. Baker Brothers came out assessed the situation and went to work. They had to cut out and replace the drywall below the taps in both the washroom and behind the fridge to replace the taps. In the master bath shower it was a custom unit with the sprayer nozzles in the wall and the valve was made by a manufacture that is high end and hard to find. Baker Brothers special ordered the parts and installed them a week later. Overall excellent job guys.

Very professional and knowledgeable. They came in did the job and left cleaning up after themselves. They answered every question I had even in the middle of them installing the new thermostat and elements. I had a question on another issue in the house and they took the time to look and discuss it with me. I will use them again.

Well. I was told up front what that cost would be. It took a long time to find because the leak was coming from the o ring around the light in the hot tub and not from a water line or pool lines.

I scheduled an appointment and they had a technician show up, who basically had no idea of what he was getting into and just left. I told them I was looking to redo the plumbing, but the man who came in looked overwhelmed and said this isn't exactly what I do and then he just left.
