I had a slab leak in the cold water line. Baker Bros had rerouted my sewer lines 2 years ago, and they were so professional that I wanted them to do this job as well. They were very good at cleaning up after themselves, they even did a few extra minor repairs with no charge, since they were already at my house. They called if they were going to be late, which they were only once, because of traffic. I can't say enough about them. They offer a 5 year warranty, which is unusual in my experience. They are more expensive because of that, but it's worth it to me.

I am a "preferred customer" of Baker Brothers and their response is always very prompt. Justin arrived at the scheduled time, pulled the leaking toilet, replaced the wax seal (which was under warranty), no more leak. He was also kind enough to seal the base of my tub (where it meets the floor) while there. I have used Baker Brothers many times (old houses require more TLC than most) and I am always happy with the response and service. I gladly referred them to a neighbor, as well. Needed weekend service and Baker Brothers were operating normally on the weekend. A leak was discovered in front yard, but wasn't sure if it was a plumbing issue or a sprinkler system issue, since it was discovered near the meter. Turned out to be a sprinkler issue, but representative insisted, since he was already there, to make the trip charge worth it, we should go ahead and check the house for any other issues. Glad to report no other issues were found, but the service professional did make a few recommendations and noted a couple things to pay attention to. The professionalism and quick responsiveness to our issue, puts Baker Brothers on our short list to call for plumbing needs in the future.

They were young kids, the experienced supervisor was super polite when selling the service, but then found him hanging out in my driveway smoking while the other new guy did the work. When the city inspector came out to inspect they had made an error and didn’t close off the gas line upstairs. They did correct but this could have been deadly. They also had not insulated all of the upstairs as promised, but did re-do after the city inspector failed them. Would not use again.

Quick, efficient & good work A bit pricey, but we needed service ASAP. Same day call/repair. Good job!

They came out because we had a problem with our kitchen faucet that was put in. He came out in the evening. He was a very nice man. He came back twice because it was still leaking and said he wouldn't leave until it was fixed. He replaced everything. He disconnected the dishwasher and redid everything an he did an absolute superb job. I believe the first call he charged the call fee and the second visit was no charge. We tipped him $100 because he worked so hard.

After getting four estimates for 1st floor closet installation, I chose Baker Brothers due to price, brand of hot water heater along with their 8 year parts and labor warranty. Compared them to three big boxes and one small plumbing company, all from Angie's List and all with A ratings. Also, two friends referred Baker Brothers. Saw and Cody showed up on time with their booties on and went right to work. Installation went great. Big problem at the end though. Apparently my T & P (temp and pressure) relief that is an exit for water from the hot water heater, through the slab and exits out of the foundation through a copper pipe was stopped up. No water was coming out when they tested it. Their first suggestion was that there was a kink in the pipes in the foundation and I would have to have that repaired before the inspector would pass the installation. I went into shock and explained to them that this was unfair to install something so expensive when they could have tested the line prior to installation. My hot water heater was still working but had started leaking (installed in 1997, believe it or not). They heard me and put their heads together and after what seemed to be forever, solved the problem. I was very impressed with both Saw and Cody and would definitely recommend Baker Brothers in the future for hot water heater installation due to those two employees. Also, ladies in the office were very helpful in assuring City Inspector was contacted when I requested and made sure appointment was kept on time. I'm pretty sure Amber was one of their names.

Baker Bros quickly responded to our call and worked well past 'quitting time' to get our water heater replaced. The City of Carrollton is pretty strict regarding Code compliance, and while Baker Bros did take care of some pre-existing issues, we did not pass our first inspection. When we informed Baker Bros they quickly responded and got the matter corrected.

Drain line was clogged so service rep. cleaned it out. Once water was flowing again the rep. ran a scope down the line and found two low spots, he called them bellies, that need to be corrected. Rep. stated that the field supervisor would give me a bid on correcting, still waiting for bid. At the other end of the house a toilet was leaking. Rep. found the wax seal needed to be replaced and did so.

This experience was fantastic. I had a gas hot water heater replaced and they did an excellent job. They had quoted me a price upfront, and that is indeed what the final price turned out to be. I also had a leak from the toilet tank in the guest bathroom and they replaced the parts, and some additional parts, with the better quality parts, after explaining what was recommended. The technicians were prompt, professional, friendly and the job site was left clean and tidy. I will certainly use this company again.

It went great! After soliciting bids for the replacement of my hot water heater from several Angie's List-rated companies I chose Baker Brothers. The price was one of the lowest bids AND Baker Brothers provides an exceptional warranty. Baker Brothers will repair or replace the unit for the duration of the heater's warranty period. No other company does this and I consider this an exceptional deal! John came out and did the work. He was on time, careful about wearing booties in the house and did an excellent job of installing the heater. I was most pleased. There was a problem in getting the post-installation city inspection done. I had to call Baker Brothers several times to finally get it done. The work passed the city inspection just fine.

It took about 3 hardworking days to complete the job. It took 2 days to dig out the rocky ground. Scheduling was easy. I called them, they came out the next day, and found the leak; they started working on it immediately. They put in a new line from the street meter to the house shut off. They filled it in and that was it. I didn't have to do anything once they found it -- I just stayed out of their way.

They did a great job. They were professional and knowledgeable. The service and cleanup were excellent. They seemed a little pricey.

They did a great job. Easy to contact/set up appointment. Was here the next day. Took time to listen and suggest options for my gas range connection. Showed me where the house gas shut off was. Pointed out suggestions on the sink and fireplace. Great work Baker Brothers Plumbing... I know who to call or recommend now.

My son said he was polite, professional and knowledgeable. He quoted us 2 hours but was done in 1. We haven't put the toilet back in as we are doing other work, but it looks good.

All went well. From the initial call to completion. I called this morning about 8 and they scheduled an appointment for the afternoon. A bit later they called back and said a technician could be there in 30 minutes. David arrived shortly and immediately assessed we needed to have the toilet augered. He fixed that and then looked at the other toilet. It was loose and he determined the flange was broken. He was able to "fix" it for now but recommended removal of the old and installing a new flange. This will require jackhammering out the floor. Not a casual deal but will likely need to be done sooner than later. All in all a nice piece of work. We have used Baker Brothers many times and are always satisfied.

Water heater broke after hours, called Baker Brothers first thing in the morning, they said they will be able to come in the afternoon, however they called back in 15 minutes saying they will be able to come immediately since someone cancelled their appointment. They were punctual and were able to quickly replace the old water heater which was more than 10 years old.

They came out the same day I called. They explained everything to me. They made the repair. The sink drains well and the new stopper looks great! I have always had good work performed by this company. Very professional.

I like that they showed up on time and I like the guy that actually showed up as far as his personality. What I disliked everything else is there's a leaky faucet that I wanted fixed. There was a freeze at the leaky faucet even though it was covered had frozen solid and caused problems to leak back into the wall. So, essentially I asked them about it. They said it was probably going to be a broken pipe in the foundation. So, they came back. They said it would be $200. Basically, they start a hole in my closet doors and the back of the wall to look at it, determined that that would be the case and wanted to charge me $2000. Meanwhile, while he's cleaning up the closet, he basically fixed the leak but he said he couldn't fix. They just basically over tightened it. So the leak wasn't fixed but at least it was stopped leaking and then they said it would be $2000. Whilst thinking about that, I called another plumber who was much less by the way and determined that that wasn't the case. I didn't even do any of that, replace the faucet and no problems. So, the Baker Brothers misdiagnosed the whole thing, charged me $200 dollars to start a hole in my wall and did literally nothing. My experience with them is a complete auto failure.

I was truly impressed because he came out to check out what I thought was a plumbing issue and saw that it was actually an irrigation issue and let me know how to get in contact with Angie's List to find a reliable company to use to fix the problem. He was very honest and kind.

This was the first time that I used them. They had to come back, because they didn't do the job correctly the first time, so I don't know if we will use them again. We chose to use them because of advertizement. They were very nice, and they came right back out.

Performed the job... CONSTANTLY tried to upsale us on replacing entire Hot Water Heater at a higher fee. I put him on the phone with my husband twice because of his insistence. My husband became extremely annoyed and told him he only wanted the heating element replaced. At the end of the job, he(Serviceman) was on his cell with the office griping at them for sending him all the way out to Weatherford to only install a heating element. P.S. It's three months out and the unit is working fine despite all the negative comments to the contrary!

I called Baker Brothers, spoke to a scheduler named London and requested an early first appt. of day. She said that a plumber would arrive on 6/19/14 between 8 and 9 am. At 925, they had not shown up, so I called back. London answered and said they had no record of my call and asked who I talked to. I told her that the scheduler 's name was London. She proceeded to check her records and eventually found my call in their "new computer system", but stated that the company was implementing a new scheduling system and my appt. did not get put onto the plumber's schedule. I told her I had a conflict for later in the day, and she said they would try to work me in. I got a call in 15 or 20 min. and was told someone would arrive in 30 to 45 min. Plumbers (2) arrived at 1040, assessed situation and said they had parked on the street and "only had 10 minutes on the parking meter"---only had one quarter. I gave them a handful of quarters and they went back to their truck. They returned to my condo, took the pipe under the sink apart, removed food in drain pipe, and charged $222.69 (Which was the total after deducting $39.95 for their "advertised" service call rate.). The plumbers told me and wrote in the bill that they used a "clear kit", but I observed using a wrench, screwdriver and bucket-- work completed in 10 to 15 minutes. Their work was satisfactory, but I was disappointed regarding appt. time and over-priced service. I plan to try a different plumbing company in the future.

Punctual, Courteous, and did great job. Cleaned up nicely after each replacement. I recommend them highly.

I got a phone call from the office stating that a worker would be coming out. He arrived in the time frame that I was given. He was extremely polite and professional. He was honest about what he needed to do to get the job done. He had to take apart my master bathtub, which he did very carefully and exact. He located the leak. He informed me right away what the problem was and what he would need to do to fix it. After he started working on it, he realized he needed more supplies and had to make a run to Home Depot. Basically, the drain pipe was never connected properly when the house was built so we had an ongoing leak. He fixed the pipe, tested to make sure there was no more leak and cleaned up after himself. The worker was courteous and professional. I don't know if the price was fair because I had to get the work done. I did not get any quotes from other companies.
