I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM. I REPEAT, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND YOU USE THEM UNLESS YOU ENJOY BEATING YOUR HEAD AGAINST A WALL. Everytime I see there TV Ads, I GET ANGRY 😠 ALL OVER AGAIN. REAL NIFHTMARE

I ended up only paying for the service call as the options to fix and the time for the parts to come in prompted me to get a second opinion. I went with the other company as I am not confident in the suggestions I receive from Baker Brothers as their business model seems to be all about the 'Up Sale'. As some background - I joined the Baker Brothers Family plan last Fall and have had 4 experiences with them since (several repairs and several regular maintenance calls). From the person who answers the phone to the technicians who come to your house, everyone is friendly and professional. The technicians are clean cut and respectful of your house. My experience EACH time is that the technician will recommend 3-5 things you should consider during the normal maintenance or repair. They range from $50 to thousands. Not one tech has veered from this approach, so I assume their business model is to sell, sell, sell. I suspect the techs are evaluated on this too. You can make your own conclusions on that. Incidentally, the other company I called out (used by my neighbor for a decade) had a separate opinion on my repair and had the A/C running in an hour for a third of the cost. Again, very clean, prompt, etc. but the up sale drove me away.

I bought it and they put it in. They also re-did some plumbing, they fixed the water turn off and moved that down to the kerb. There was a problem with it, it didn't pass. We didn't get a permit because something happened and they came right back out and fixed it. So there was no problem. They came when they were supposed to, they did what they did and they cleaned up after themselves and that was it. They left the area pretty clean.

It went just fantastic! Michael, the technician showed up exactly on time, even after calling in the very same day. It wasn't an absolute emergency but they treated me like I was their most important customer. Michael took about 30 minutes to cure the problem, cleaned up after himself, and was very polite, professional, and represented Baker Brothers perfectly. In a culture that completely exaggerates bad reviews, i'm not exaggerating when I say they do quality work! I will definitely use them again.

So, my old disposal started leaking from the bottom--not good, so I called Baker Brothers. We are on their family plan which is helpful for two reasons. One, they get you on the schedule as soon as they can, and two, you get a 15% discount for any work done. That same family plan also includes free AC checks, so I recommend doing that. They are and can be pricey, but it's been worth it in our experience using them. They always give you options and have a list of prices for certain repairs. That would be nice to know ahead of time so they can save the trip, but I get why they do what they do with pricing. I discovered the leak Sunday afternoon and they scheduled me for the following day. Our tech was Glenn, and he was great!! He was friendly and was quick and thorough although it was just a disposal replacement, so the difficulty wasn't too high for a plumber--just not something I could trust myself to do. We actually purchased the model of disposal we wanted. It was virtually the same model/type but just brand new, so it made the replacement that much easier. The job took all of 30 minutes and you are notified roughly 30 minutes before they arrive which is nice. My wife and I would recommend Baker Brothers.

Customer service was great when I called and they were at the house in less than two hours. However, the technician found it necessary to replace the whole valve which involved tearing into my drywall for $500. The mover told me all they needed to do was put a cap on the valve. Which makes sense because the only time the valve needs to be off is when the fridge is disconnected. Once the new owners hook theirs up, they will open it back. A cap would have been sufficient. Unnecessary work and expense.

Very badly. I decided to replace the unit because the age of it. The replacement was incorrectly connected. It leaked at the supply to the unit. The overflow/leak basin was also incorrectly connected. When it leaked it rained down through the recessed lighting and ruined the hardwood floors. They appointed a guy to manage the insurance claim who hired an incompetent floor repair firm that ruined the hardwoods throughout the house. Multiple attempts to rectify through insurance handler have been unsuccessful and baker brothers is uninterested.

They came, they did their thing, life is good.

Baker Brothers was/is Fantastic! I had my A/C & Heating units replaced and they were professional, on-time, and helpful. My new Trane units are great.

Baker Brothers employee arrived on time, and to his credit, was willing to come late in the evening (8-9pm). He was courteous and spent a good hour with me. However, I had two issues that kept nagging at me, which eventually led me to not go with this company: - I consistently felt pressure to replace my entire HVAC system rather than choose other options for repair. This may have been purely my feeling (rather than him being any more pushy than any other salesman), but that's simply how I felt. - The prices were higher across the board than any other company I spoke to. Again, the salesman openly acknowledged their high prices, and accounted for this with their good work.

Needed a quick response to a shower valve problem that required turning off the water to the house. Baker Brothers responded quickly and completed the repair. Mark is a excellent plumber. The valve works better than before.

Corbin, the technician, and John, his assistant, were extremely professional and friendly. They worked very efficiently and resolved the issue. I'd definitely use them again.

I'd called Baker Brothers because I'd had a good experience with them previously. They had replaced a bad toilet wax ring for me in the past. The plumber arrived promptly. We had a dripping shower head in the stand-up shower in the master bath. I'd read online that the solution was to replace the cartridge inside the faucet, but I'd tried loosening the brass ring that holds the cartridge in place, and I'd had trouble removing it. I'd already purchased the cartridge at a big box store for $40, but I didn't want to risk making a bad situation worse by trying to force it myself, and I'd hoped that he would have the tools and experience to loosen the ring that I couldn't. He looked at the exterior of the faucet (never took the cover plate off) and decided that the only solution was to completely replace the faucet. He explained that he doesn't like the brand of faucet we have, and that if I couldn't fix the faucet on my own, then he couldn't either. The only solution he offered was a complete replacement of the entire assembly. He explained that they could either remove the tile from the front side or remove drywall from the closet behind the shower in order to get access to the faucet to replace it. He said they wouldn't be doing the tile or drywall work, but he knew a guy who could do it for me. The estimate he provided was $1,598.31 if they provided the faucet or $1,083.16 if I provided my own. By the time he left, he was recommending a complete renovation of my shower -- tile, backer board, drain pan -- the works. I chose not to replace the faucet. Instead, I did some more research and decided to risk damaging the faucet by replacing it myself. I used some CLR to loosen the calcification on the brass ring, removed it by hand, and was able to replace the cartridge myself at a cost of $40.00. I'm glad that I avoided what would have easily exceeded $2,000.00 in work to replace a $40.00 piece of plastic.

We had a combination, most recently was Baker Brothers Plumbers for our, they took care of our in floor issue that we had in January of 2016. As part of having our floor redone in the bathroom through the insurance, there was a company called North Star plumbing that also did work. They had to tare up the foundation so they replace the floor as part of the insurance settlement. It would have been on around the, yeah February first is fine. It cost $2900. The first technician that came out was not the same as the second time and the first technician he did not appropriately find where the leak was, where he said it was and where it actually was were two different places. They were in a couple feet of one another but the second technician had to redo it, not to mention the fact that the first technician didn't, actually traced out lines, the water lines, he didn't bother to mark it down anywhere to what he did. So I really felt that, while the second technician was fantastic I've got to grade him on the entire thing and the first technician really didn't do the job as well as he could have.

Better than expected. This is the third time in two years I have had to clean this line. But this is the only time the service included running a camera down the line (at no additional cost) to check the problem. Will there was a problem but it was the Town of Flower Mound's problem as determined by the plumb (Travis). The Water Department came and concluded the same and will fix the problem. Great Job and probably saved me lots of money. Also, the plumber was a very nice and well dressed person. Highly professional!!

Took over an hour to do the job--and this company sent someone who did not even have basic knowledge of this simple process. He had to call for assistance. Asked me for help holding pipe! Sorry I should have read reviews... I Called to to give feed back and the girl that I talked to tried to suggest it was my fault because of my description of the plumbing issue. What a wast of my time... Off my list.

The service was incredible. Due to our townhome layout and equipment, we had some special requirements for this installation. The service techs were patient and professional. They were also aware of my anxiety due to a possibility of setting off our interior sprinkler system in using a welding torch. They were reassuring and made the experience calm and friendly for us. From the first phone call to their office to the last follow up card thanking us, this was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend them.

In December, 2015 I purchased two toilets from a local home improvement store and asked them to arrange for installation for me. The plumber sent by the home improvement store to install the toilets was from Baker Brothers. The plumber arrived on time on December 15th to install the toilets. It was determined that only one could be installed on that date because the other one was the wrong size; it was a 12" rough and I needed a 10" rough. I had to return one and re-order a new second one. Having the one toilet installed by the plumber from this company was, in my opinion, one of the worst experiences encountered. Upon expressing my concerns to an Associate at the home improvement store later that day after the installation of one toilet, about my experiences with this plumbing company's installation, and what I thought were excessive charges, she advised me that, in their agreement with the plumbing company, the plumber was to have provided flange bolts, wax rings, and supply lines for each installation. The original cost to me was to be $109 for each installation and $30 each for haul away and disposal of the old toilets, for a total of $139.00 each. By the time the first (and only), toilet was installed, the total price for installing one (1) toilet was $264.96. The price for purchasing the one toilet was $264.80. This installation price resulted from the original amount that was to have been paid, plus, instead of using his parts as agreed upon with the home improvement company, he used a wax ring, and supply line that I had purchased, (both new), for a total of $10.96. He also advised me that the stop valve that was on the old toilet was no longer working and he had to replace it. Even though I had a new valve that was just like the one that he took off of the old toilet, he said that he could not use it but had to use his own. Allegedly, he later told the home improvement company's Associate that it was to ensure the part was warranted. He charged me $115 for the valve, even though the home improvement store sells the same valve for $6.48 each. Needless to say I was very disappointed with my experiences with this company and wrote the home improvement company to let them know that I would make my own arrangements for the second installation when the new toilet arrives. I asked for and received reimbursement for the second installation for which I had already paid. I also advised that, in the future when purchases are made from them that require plumbing installations, I do not want this company to do any further installations for me.

They were really good! T hey did everything we asked them to and more but they are very expensive!

Technician provided quotes for multiple scenarios of 'basic' to 'if problems were found'. I appreciated the thoroughness, but ended up being extremely confused. I had difficulty understanding the technician, perhaps from mumbling or speaking in too technical terms. Had to ask him to repeat on more than one occassion. We ended up using another company that was less expensive plus explained the situation and options much better. Baker Brothers was prompt, courteous and used protective coverings on the shoes. I'm sure they do great work, however we've found someone else that we will call again.

I think their work is good but they are very expensive and they have a monthly charge for their service. So, I don't know whether I'm going to stay with them or not. They looked at my ductwork and the wrapping, insulation around the ductwork apparently some of it has worn away and they want to replace that. They were going to send out someone to do an estimate but I didn't follow-up on that. The second item, they were going to repair a bathroom sink. They did that and it was very expensive. I can't give you a figure on that. They also looked at my kitchen faucet and I know it just needs replacement of the washer and gasket and to solve the problem, they were going to install all new faucet for $625 and that's when I didn't follow-up anymore on them. Their work is good but their price is awful. I think if they had offered to make a repair on my kitchen sink that was reasonable, I would have given them an "A".

Called us ahead of time as there was delay on arrival due to traffic. Polite, Professional and Efficient. Thank you.

I liked the work, but I did not like the price. They came pretty much on time, right on schedule. I could have had a better experience if the price was not so high and because they did not want to go on the roof. If they went on the roof to clean my washer, they were going to charge me an extra $300 and I told them no. I would not recommend them either.

They did beyond an excellent job, but their fee was through the roof. I did get the service I paid for, though. Everything they said they?d do, they did it, and they did the projects in a remarkably timely manner. They were early to their appointment, and were in an out within about an hour and a half. It was smooth as silk, and they even took care of getting the city permit for me. They gave me an 8 year guarantee.
