I had several items on my list to have done around my home. Willard the owner and his son came out on Aug. 22, 2016. They replaced 2 bath room faucets, and front a door lock. The large part of the time was spent on the installation of 33 cabinet and door pulls installed on my kitchen cabinets and drawers. They also tighten my mailbox to the post, and the tool hanger that had become loose on the wall in my garage. They had worked the four hours completing all these tasks, so I paid them $75 for an additional hour to tighten the hinge on the gate to my backyard.

The work was very good. They repaired sheet rock and you cannot tell it was ever damaged! Clean work.

O my goodness where do I start? First off, I don't give reviews and I am very hard to please :) Nancy is phenomenal and such a life saver. I relocated into the area with a very reputable company and the relocation company did an awful job with packing and unpacking my household goods. It was basically a pick and dump job they did. They had trash cans mixed with my sons clothes, play doh sand mixed with clean clothes. Kitchen items mixed with bedroom clothes. It was a disaster. I had relocated 5 times in the last 6 years and this was the worse relocation ever. I was so overwhelmed and didn't know what to do with some the disastrous mess the relocation company did. And personal touch was such a life saver. She came in on time, very professional and extremely hard working, she went to work. She helped me sort through all the mess, categorizing and sorting through everything and placing them in the room they were supposed to be. All the boxes were gone. Day 1 she was there for 4 hours and by the end of the 4 hours my tears had turned into a big smile, because she had made so much progress, it was unbelievable!!! She made it so much easier for me to finish unpacking. I asked her to return a couple of days later and she worked for another 3.5 hours in the rest of the house including the garage!!! All the relocation boxes gone!!! Within a week I was 96% unpacked and organized. I look at my home now and O my goodness it super organized. I honestly don't think I could have made this much progress without her help. All it took was 7.5 hours of her time. Honestly, the best money I have ever spent. And without a doubt I will highly recommend her to all my friends and family relocating into the area. Save yourself the headache hire Nancy and let her do what she does best. Thank you so much Nancy Peham. Hands down the best organizer in DFW.

Mr Willard is very efficient and very punctual. I had to change my appointment once and he didn't make a fuss about changing the appointment. He was very flexible and I like working with him and his crew. I really appreciated his service. They were very nice and polite and did everything I had asked.

Overall, it was a fiasco. I've dealt with many contractors over the years, having had a number of rental properties. I've used contractors both on and off of Angie's List. The is the first Angie's List contractor where I needed to get my money back. I should have taken the early warning signs as a sign of things to come. The contractor was initially scheduled for 9/19. He called me the weekend prior to say that he needed to move me to 9/20, with which I was fine. He then called me again on Sunday 9/18 to say he would now need to move his arrival to Friday 9/23. When he showed up on 9/23, before he even started, the contractor was doubtful as to whether he would be able to install the soffit, as he wondered whether there would be anything to attach it to. I assured him that I had replaced soffit on the house before, and that he should be fine. From the onset, he spent a great deal of time talking about what could go wrong rather than working. After I calmed him down about his worries, he said he would get started. I instructed the contractor to start in a corner, replacing two pieces of existing old soffit with two new six foot sections. Then if time, we would do a smaller section in a second corner. I stayed with him while he removed a piece of old soffit in the first corner to confirm he would be able to do the work. He did realize that there was something on which to affix the new soffit, as I had reassured him. I then left him to run to Home Depot and pick up some trim. While I was there, he called me to see if I could get some ant killer. For some reason, he abandoned the first corner and went ahead to the second corner, where he saw ants! When I returned, he had only installed one piece of soffit. I was stunned to see that he installed the wrong piece in the first corner! e Did not follow my instructions. He had also begun to pack up, saying he would came back the following Thursday (9/29) to complete his hours. (He had been there less than two hour at this juncture - this was a four hour deal). He said that he had an appointment with the eye doctor. As this juncture, we were still at square one, as if nothing had been done, since he installed the wrong piece in the first corner, which would need to be removed. So it was as if nothing had even happened. (He installed the piece of soffit that was sized for the second corner). I still don't know why he went ahead to the second corner (where he said he saw ants). He did tell me when I returned that he did not do anything for about an hour, as he was awaiting me to return with the ant killer for the second corner (which he was not even to be working on at that juncture). He told me that he would owe me two hours. More on this later. I thought he meant the two hours that he wasted getting nothing accomplished. As it turns out, I later found out that he was referring for the remaining two hours on the four hour deal. I thought I would give him the chance to get back on track, however, so I agreed to let him come back the following Thursday 9/29- though that was six days away. (He clearly had other jobs that were higher priorities). On Wednesday 9/28, he called to say that he would not longer be able to come on Thursday 9/29, as he had another job that was not hourly, which he needed to complete. He said that he would be there around Noon on 9/29 depending upon how the other job went to work the other two hours. (This is when I realized that I would be eating his mistake, not him i.e. that the two hours he said he would owed me were just the remaining two hours). Nonetheless, I was willing at that juncture to give him the chance to see if he would make things right. He then called about 1:15 PM on 9/29 to say that he would not be able to come out after all, but that he would come later in the day the next day, on Friday 9/30. He did not call or show up on 9/30. He also has not called as of late afternoon on 10/1 (now). I've had a few different contractors replace soffit, not only on my personal house, but also on some investment properties. I've never had any problems. They just seem to know what to do and get after. Though he claimed to now what he was doing on soffit repair, I'm now doubtful. Why all the delays, misdirection and consternation? At this juncture, it does not matter. He had his chance to make it right, and that chance is gone. I do not want him on my property again. As no useful work has been accomplished, and has he failed to follow through after giving me the round around for two weeks, I need this deal refunded ASAP, so I can hire someone else more confident, capable and reliable. Thank you.

Extremely Well! Mr. Seals has assembled a great team that focuses on getting repairs done right the 1st time. He maximizes the time in your home be being well prepared to get things done when he arrives, and he even does small details like vacuuming after a repair. All 5 of my home repairs are done correctly, and I will use him again, and refer him to others who need a handyman.

Mr. Seals provide impeccable service and quality of his work. Although, he and his team were booked solid for several weeks out, he took the time to drop by and provide an estimate and managed to squeeze us in prior to our scheduled close date. Highly recommended and will use again in the event his services is needed.

I contacted Willard about repairing our bamboo floors, which is not easy to do. He was more than willing to have his flooring guy look at it. Unfortunately, we decided not to have the work done due to unforseen reasons on our end. Willard called us and texted with us about what we needed to have done and I was able to send him pictures and he was able to tell me exactly what was needed to be done. Very professional and courteous. I feel that this review is the least I can do. We will use Willard in the future if the needs arise!

Mr. Willard Seals is a very professional and honest man. He did a fantastic job on our back door. He even showed me that we did not need to have the trim replace around the garage door. We simply needed to paint it. That saved us money and proved how honest and trustworthy he is. We will definitely use him again. He is now our handyman of choice. I even referred him to my mom. I will certainly refer him to others as well !!

I had some huge foundation problems. I had the foundation leveled, put in 68 piers under the foundation. So that tore up all the flooring. I had cracked walls, water damage and all kinds of issues. We basically redid the front of the house after we put in the 68 piers. I bought an Angie's List special deal for four hours of work for $200. This is what I started him on. He does very good work. He is very slow and take a long time, but the quality of the work is good. He started in July of 2015 and did the final job in November, 2015. I was happy with the door work he did so I got an estimate from him for the rest of the work and he had at it. The quality of his work is good, but I would simply give him a B because he is incredibly slow so it just drags on and on and on. his charging is appropriate and I thought most people would have asked for more money than he did so he is not expensive it is just that you have to plan for a long time because he is going to take a long time to get the work done. If he screws something up he will fix it.

After getting four different quotes we chose Mr. Seals and his team because of his can-do attitude and his price. The other companies that gave us quotes sort of gave us the "run around" on why each project would take time and why it would be a challenge... blah blah blah. Mr. Seals looked at each project and was straight to the point with the facts and gave us a price that was significantly less than the closest quote and his quote included materials. The work they did looks very good and he was great about communicating with me about when they were heading to the house, etc. Thank you!

Completely professional and kept me thoroughly informed throughout the whole process (from the initial scheduling to arrival time/potential delays and multiple times during the actual visit). -Mr. Seals did quality work and didn't leave until 100% completion and my satisfaction with the work. Not only do I recommend, but I will use him again for future projects.

On March, a list of repairs as requested was emailed to Mr. Seal. On March 25th, a handyman by the name of Jaime showed up to do repairs. He started on the dishwasher. He had to stop because he needed to get a connector part for under the sink. My husband and Jaime set out for Home Depot which is within 2 miles from our home. When he came back he fix it so we thought. Then he looked at the guest bathroom sink drain and pipe. He then said he need to go back to get a new pipe and divergent lever for the sink from Home Depot.Both trips together was 1 hours time. That day I contacted Mr. Seal with my concerns about the 4-clock hours and the time delayed at Home Depot. He stated that we are only charged for man hours. Later, Jaime told us that he cannot do the ceiling because that is Mr. Seal's speciality. He contacted Mr. Seals and sent pictures of the ceiling. As per Home Depot receipt, the parts were bought at 11:37 a.m. Jaime left my home about on or about 12:30 according to my husband. Mr. Seals spoke to my husband and told him he would come over before noon. Instead he got here about 1 or 1:30. He looked at the Sealing and mentioned repairing it with "MUDD", he removed some damaged trim around a door and set up time to come back on Thursday at 8:00 a.m. he cancelled that about 7:10 and said he could not show up because of personal issue. Next, it was rescheduled from 5-530 pm. On/after 5:00 pm I called his number about whether he would be coming to my home. He stated that he would not be able to come till around 7:00 pm because he has to go to Southlake TX, go home and pay his workers, and then the traffic...He also stated that to repair the ceiling would take time because it requires to applications which have to dry. He then insisted that Jamie did 4 hours of work (10-2 p.m. = 4 hours). Jaime, his worker left about 12:30 p.m. Thursday at 5:00 p.m. I contacted Mr. Seals who again changed the time to 7 p.m. Today, Thursday, March 31st, I talked to Skyler of Angie's list. He indicated that he would request a refund and expedite it from the "Tier 2 Dept." He could not give me a name or contact. Neither could he confirm who would be contacting me. He insisted I would be contacted tomorrow. After hanging up with him. I contacted Mr. Seals and told him "he did not have to come all the way to Desoto, TX and that the matter would be resolved by Angie's List. I then texted Mr. Seals and asked him not to bother to come. 7p.m. is very late and I felt that he did not intend to return to Desoto, TX and I was getting the run-around. Again, in light of the events from Saturday and Thursday, I request at least a partial refund. I will have to find another handyman to complete the most pressing issue -- ceiling repair. As I explained to Skyler we are trying to list our home for sale. This is a cosmetic repair that cannot wait.

I am a hands on customer and I was looking for somebody with an open mind ,creative and fearless with their skills and, I found it. I explain what I wanted and he look in detail to see if what I wanted was possible. I really appreciated the fact that he never look at me like I was crazy for my requests and perform with great knowledge for the labor needed and even took time to explain me things to understand why it needed to be done that way and he even was open to my suggestions of what I new it would be better and did it. I already pass their information to a friend and I have another who I know they need something done of the kind of work they did for me.

It took them forever to come in and do the work. I waited for almost one month or more.
