The purchase proccess was seamless. When I tried to have the provider come come out for the service he had car trouble. When I reached out to him again he was unable to schedule me when I was able to be at home within the time frame I needed.

I thought the amount of work completed for the cost was very good. Willard was punctual, friendly and knowledgeable. He worked the entire time and cleaned up afterwards.

He did a decent job. He recommended a few additional things that he thought needed to be done. That was above and beyond the original quote he gave me and I gave him approval for the extra work and he did the extra work. Everything was fine. I wouldn’t say he is one of the outstanding contractors that I would put on A list but I would certainly do business with him again.

Wlillard did a wonderful job. He was great and will use him again in the future. He met all my expetations and more.

Showed up on time and ready to work, very respectful and polite. The quality of work is outstanding.

Promptly contacted by handyman as a new client. Went over details for the job and he told me that he would run by my house to see what was needed for the job. He never did this. We also made an appointment for him to complete the tasks needed done. He never showed and I called him that day. He called me back and said that he had it written down on the wrong day in his calendar. We rescheduled. I was having tasks done for a graduation party for my daughter on May 18th. So, there was a deadline and with only one week remaining we made the next appointment for the week of the party. Well, he no showed me again, leaving me in a bind and at the mercy of another handyman and their schedule with a new deadline of three days before the party. I was so angry. I left a couple of messages and then his mail box filled up. I continued to call him and he never called me back. I called his mobile and his "office" phone. Finally I got a call from him and it was obvious immediately that he had called the wrong angry customer. He called me a man's name and I said "oh no, this is Lisa you have reached", he hung up on me. The day before the party he called me and said he could reschedule. I told him to forget it. I immediately called Angie's List and started the process of getting my money back.

The team at Personal Touch Contractors were extremely professional and had immaculate attention to detail. Every corner was mitered to perfection. When they left, everything was cleaned up and back in place. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs trim work done.

I purchased the big deal awhile back for the owner to take his time in getting in touch with me. He then made the attempt to come out to my property and no show. I have found a new provider to do the work.

Our experience was great. We purchased a BIg Deal and they worked us into the schedule right away. They arrived promptly and went right to work. The sink replacement was not an easy task and had additional complications, but Willard took it in stride. While he worked on that,his helper was painting. The closet doors we purchased had no texture and weren't easy to paint, but he did a perfect job. The tasks took longer than we'd purchased on the Big Deal, but he completed then with no additional charge. The sink ended up with a small leak, and he came back just a could of days later and fixed it right up.

He does a satisfactory job. He seems to have book keeping problems, could not get an invoice from him.

The repairs listed above were done over a period of 3 separate days due to the contractor having problems with his vehicle, but they were all professionally done with good attention to detail, and good clean-up.

Our story begins with the purchase of $240 in handyman services through Angie's List. We were thinking of just having Willard do the handyman work, but he had said that he did painting, too, and then my painting contractor failed to show for an estimate, we engaged Willard to do that work, too, as we were pressed for time. This was in mid-October, and we informed Willard at the time that we had a hard deadline of October 31, as we had tenants moving in on November 1. For various reasons related to personal issues, transportation problems (he's in Irving; the house is in west Fort Worth), his own paint crew bailing on him, other jobs to do, and probably others that I can't think of right now or am unaware of, the work dragged on. And on. And on. Willard operated on his own schedule. Some days he was there, some days he wasn't. Some days he'd be there a few hours; some days he was there until late at night. He kept assuring us that the work would be completed on schedule, but it became obvious that that would not be the case. The tenant removed the carpet himself, and I and the tenant removed the glue that had been holding it down to the brick floor in one room. The tenants moved in as scheduled, but the work still wasn't done, and Willard was frequently in the house well into the evenings. I managed to put them off until Willard's scheduled completion date matched their final ultimatum, Nov. 9. I wound up rebating nine days' worth of rent to the tenants. Having said all that, Willard is a good, hard, conscientious worker who wants to make sure that you're happy with the work. I think he underestimated the amount of time the project would take, and he probably underbid the project. Though I was not happy at the delay in finishing the work, nor at having to rebate the rent to my tenants, I was happy with both the quality of the work, and the price, and I haven't had any complaints about the work from the tenants. I would hire him again, and, indeed, I did, to do some minor work around my house -- for which a deadline was not important.

Willard is a very nice man. He is skilled in many areas and does his best to make sure you like the work he does. We got off to a slow start because he had other jobs in progress, but once he got on it, he stayed focused and finished everything we asked. His price was fair and the quality is good. We will definitely call him again when we have our new list of work to do.

Willard was punctual and did his work with great care. In fact, he went the extra mile to ensure high quality. In fact, the hole is not at all discernable. He has a discerning eye and went ahead and exchanged the paint because it was not a perfect match. I think it this level of detail and willing to go the extra mile sets him apart. He did a through clean up after the work himself and took care follow the extra precautions like covering delicate items, putting a tarp before sanding etc. (small but necessary steps) to avoid creating a mess. I paid him for an extra hour than the original estimate (one day of handy man coupon purchased on the site). However, given that I had given him one extra job and his willingness to go the extra mile to identify and fix issues to do a good job I gladly paid that. I In fact, I think he put in additional time (other than the extra hour) but did not charge the same as he wanted to get the job done right. I am infact planning to call him back for exterior paiting of the entire house in a couple of months.

Willard approached after the Big Deal purchase and had a visit before the actual work. He did some extremely hard work including a complete rewiring of the Foyer Chandelier on a 18 Foot ceiling. In fact, the work performed is beyond 6 hours and he didn't charge for couple of extra hours he worked. I would recommend him as a Handyman and will use him again.

Horrible, put us off 3 times before showing. Door sill does not close properly. Started to paint house without being asked because he heard we wanted a painter. Said he's come back to finish door and never has.

He repaired a large and ugly hole left by a pest removal company. He matched all of the trim work and you can't even tell the hole was there in the first place. For the insulation, they covered everything in the room and thoroughly cleaned after. The holes that were cut into the ceiling and walls were repaired so that you can't tell where they originally were. They even found mistakes from previous contractors/builder and fixed the problems that they didn't created. For the garage storage system, I gave him a drawing of what I wanted and he built and installed a system similar to the ones that are much more expensive. Overall, the work was completed professionally and with care for a very reasonable price. If something was not exactly right, they kept at it until was. I definitely will use them again for other projects.

They did an excellent job. They were gentle and took care of the furniture. They were honest, friendly and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely use them again in the future.

He is a very honest man. If something is not right, he goes out of his way to fix it. He's a perfectionist.
