Very nice and professional. He was on time and very efficient.

Willard did an awesome job. I was under the gun because of the pending sale on the house. He worked with my schedule and came out very quickly. I like the fact that he had a sense of urgency. He recognized the importance of getting these two items off my list before the closing date and did what it took to make it happen. It's a quality I don't find much anymore.

Frankly, not as well as I expected. He was over-scheduled, so he brought a second person so they could only stay 4 hours. That would have been fine if the second person had been half as productive as the actual handyman. The results and quality of what was done was excellent - just not 8 hours worth of work. I'd hire him again, but ONLY if he comes alone. I think the owner is knowledgeable and hardworking. However, he is over-scheduled - which is why he brought along someone to use time. And, although I'm very flexible about schedules, my patience was tried as he was very late and changed the approximate arrival time many times. It could have been a better experience and I probably should have just rescheduled.

I think it well. I needed him on a rush basis. They came in to fix things that were not done properly from another contractor that I had hired. Jeff Morgan came in and did the work.

I purchased the big deal and promptly found him hard to contact. He prefers to schedule by email and not have to actually engage with the customers, I suppose. I talked to him one time and that was only when he called to tell me he wouldn't bother honor his commitment. At least he had the courtesy to call and tell me he was leaving me high and dry before haughtily stating he would not come out on Saturdays and on Sundays he would be in church. He seems to be one of those fellows who thinks going to church means treating people badly is OK. No real apology for leaving me high and dry, no real effort to work with me. Just an all around sorry business with poor service and professionalism. In retrospect I suppose I'm relieved he made no real effort to come out and get the work done, since my only experience with him makes me suspect the work would be slip shod and poorly done, based on his lack of professionalism about everything else. Save yourself some grief and don't hire this headache. He's the kind of guy who gives all contractors a bad reputation.

Willard and his brother did an amazing job getting inspection items done before the sale of our house. He worked his schedule around to fit us in quickly and stayed within his quote (even though the job took longer than originally planned). He was very professional and did a great job! Will use in the future!

The man I had was named Willard Seals. He was such an interesting and delightful man. The services were perfect, I have never had such a great experience. I am very happy I found him.

Willard provided a very detailed, careful, and professional paint job. He showed as schedule and was committed to doing it right.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. The process started out great and we met and walked through the property to determine the needs and wants of the repairs that were needed. I knew that it would last longer than the 8 hours paid for and we were willing to pay for the extra time. He sent me an email to follow up what we discussed listing out each item on the list. the list contained about 10 small projects and he ended up only doing 4 of them. He stated he would start on one date that was 2 weeks before my deadline to have things done- said it would take a few days and he would be done, here we are a month later and still not done. He didn't show on the first week that he said he was going to show, then when he did start work, he proceeded to show up 4-5 hours after he said he would be there. Said he would be there at 10- showed up at 3. I then received a call after about a week worth of work stating that I needed to write him a check today for the work that had been completed and that it was going to be 101 hours. Not once did he check in with me on the increasing cost or update me on the hours that were being worked. He also failed to mention that this 101 hours was for 4 people - meaning each person had only worked 25 hours when he told me it would take 18 to complete. Not a problem to get a check, but he wanted it that day right then. The location of the work being done is over an hour away from where I am so I am not able to drop everything I am working on to appease him for not giving me any notice. We agree to meet the next morning so that I can give him a check. Once I handed of the check, I proceed to receive calls and texts from him all day stating that he cant cash the check since I wrote it to his business and not to him personally- I am not sure what kind of business doesn't allow for business checks but it seems he does not have a business checking account. I told him it is not my problem that he can not cash it and that he needs to figure it out. I proceeded to receive 3 phone calls from check cashing business asking me to verify I wrote the check - This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. NOT professional in any way! After the check debacle he proceeded to need more time to get work done and again was showing up hours after he stated he would and not showing up on days when he said he would. He is now a month over in the timeline and we are out of time to have him in the house doing the work - it took him 2 weeks to get 1 stairwell painted, when I had painters come to my house and do the entire house in 3 days- he is worthless and does not complete his work. We have had to have someone else come in and complete the projects because not only did he not do the entire list, he didn't complete 1 single project.

Every project was completed. The hardware was removed on doors ( no Tape ) and looked brand new. He brought drop cloths, so there was no mess to clean up. Bathroom fixtures we installed, bedroom holes where old draperies were hung were removed, filled and painted.

Contractor is booked for next 3 weeks. I can not wait that long for service.

Initially I contacted Angie's List to get work done prior to going on vacation in July. I was out on vacation and then the contractor was unavailable due to vacation plans so we were unable to set dates in July. The next date was set for Friday August 1st. The contractor had to cancel on that date and set the appointment for the next day, Saturday August 2nd. He made it on that date but needed to reschedule because of the length of the job. His future dates were all too far out, so I decided to get a refund.

Buyer beware-I contacted this company for 5 hours -$200. Willard brought a helper and upon arrival informed me that because he brought a helper the service time would be 3 hours not 5 hours. There were several projects I needed done one of which was pressure washing my small patio which was agreed upon in the initial conversation. Willard also informed me that his pressure wash was not working when he arrived. His helper was not very helpful..... he seem to have more important things to discuss while on his cell phone and it seemed that I was paying for his time on his cell. Willard charged me for additional hour for work that probably could have been avoided if he brought a skilled helper. My next encounter was horrendous. I contracted with Willard to remove my existing counter tops. Scheduling with Willard was a nightmare. It seemed I was rearranging my work schedule around his schedule and he provided no real flexibility in trying to accommodate my schedule. Finally, Willard scheduled a day and told me that he could come out at 8:00pm to take out counter tops. The day came and no Willard. I contacted Willard and he stated he was at another job and could not get to house until 9:14pm and that point I was done with The Personal Touch Contractors. I am glad that Willard has an over abundance of work to sustain his company, but I wish he was realistic and honest with his customers.

The service was excellent. He installed two light fixtures, a pendant light and three faucets in my bathroom. I felt the deal was a success. He was very professional and gave me feedback on other items that I was working on myself. He was very efficient.

Willard is a jewel. He went above and beyond to finish the over-ambitious list of things I needed done, including tracking down hardware needed to connect a new toilet to a 30-year-old fixture (not carried in Home Depot, much to our dismay). He is helpful and competent. I look forward to using his services in the future.

He took his time. Very Professional. Had all tools that were needed to hang pictures. Gave excellent advice.

This is my second time to use Personal Touch Contractors. Willard performs a lot of tasks for a fair price. He is friendly and professional. I would recommend him.

Mr. Seals did a very good job and got the job done even when we ran into some difficulty on the last fan. The problem wasn't his fault, but he was determined to get it fixed before he left. He was friendly, knowledgable, and very skilled. I purchased the "big deal" for $200, but we had a lot of difficulty with the last fan (flush mount/weak ceiling sheet rock) and it pushed us about 2 hours past the 5 hours I had paid him for. I ended up paying $315 for all of the work including about $45 in materials. I feel like I definitely got my money's worth, and I plan on using this service again. I highly recommend The Personal Touch Contractors.
