Description of Work: He did the some work in a bathroom. I had hired him before and I liked him so much that I hired him again.

Description of Work: The provider (Willard Seal of The Personal Touch Contractors) was originally scheduled for 10:00am on Monday but called and asked to delay because he was tied up on a previous job that developed some complications. He finally showed up about 4pm (he called a couple times in between to make me aware of his progress). My job involved a door that was no longer square due to a recent house leveling I had done. Since not much information was passed along to him, the job was not what Willard expected so he was not quite prepared and advised me up front that the job should really be a contract job. Willard attempted to square the doors himself but was not able to so he said he would have his carpenter visit me Wednesday evening. The carpenter (Roger) and his assistant arrived on time Wednesday and were properly prepared to do the job. They did an excellent job reframing the doors so they now work perfectly. I was supposed to purchase a new threshold for the doors but the local stores did not have the size I needed and there was insufficient time to special order one, so Roger said he would see what he could do and was able to repair and reinstall the old threshold (which was a metal threshold that had been bowed by the house leveling). Roger and his assistant completed the job in a couple hours and did all the final touch-ups I requested (including cutting out part of the patio concrete so the threshold would fit properly) and also cleaned up after theirselves. They were not able to pour the footer that the threshold sits in so Willard called me back and agreed to come in Friday morning and do that. Willard showed up on the agreed time Friday and poured the footing for the threshold and reinstalled the threshold and cleaned everything up. Willard did not charge me for the two hours he spent Monday since was not able to accomplish what was needed then and the only extra charge was for the material they had to get to do the job, since the Handyman contract is only for labor. I was very satisfied with the job.

Description of Work: I contacted THE PERSONAL TOUCH CONTRACTORS a week ago, asking if they could replace an outdoor faucet. I included two pics and my phone number. I asked if they could do this work or if I needed a plumber. I asked if they could give me a rough idea of number of hours so I could buy the appropriate Big Deal. | |I never received a response by any communication method. Guess they're not interested. Seems unprofessional to me.

Description of Work: Repaired falling fence, had to replace fence post. Hung new ceiling fan and secured existing ceiling fan. Hung mirror and repaired hole in garage.

Description of Work: I purchased a special $200 for 5 hours of service. I had a great experience! All of my miscellaneous items I had on a to do list were completed in 5 hours! He even taught me how to properly park my car into a teeny tiny one car garage!!! That was worth $200!!

Description of Work: The workman installed an exterior door but was not able to finish in the time paid for already. I chose to let him leave and am in the process of finishing the job myself.

Description of Work: I contacted the Handyman, waited 1 week for a response to make the appointment, after we made the appointment, the handyman did not come to do the work.

Description of Work: Willard is great and very good at what he does. I purchased the deal he offered on Angie's List for 6 hours of handyman services - he stayed longer to finish the job at no charge. Very pleased with his work and cleanup. I will definitely be calling Willard again.
