They did an excellent job of replacing the window. They were very careful removing the shattered window and didn't create any mess in my house which I really appreciated. My only reason for some of the B ratings was because it took them too long to get the window installed. From the time they came out and measured and the time the window was replaced was 5 weeks. More than twice as long as the original estimate.

Scheduling was very easy and the work was done on a timely basis.$380

Estimator arrived on time, was professional and courteous. Identified the windows that needed to be replaced, gave me an accurate quote and scheduled the replacement. Day of replacement workman arrived on time and were also professional and courteous. Took just over an hour to replace all panes. Clean up after himself. Work looks as good if not better than when the glass was new.

I contacted company though Angie list messges to set up a time to come out for an estimate on 3 windows that I need replaced. that was on April 30th. As of today May 13th, I have never hear from them nor received a reply back on Angies List messages.

The experience was good. They processed my order fast. It was a good overall experience. It was my second time using them.

They were great. They were timely and cared about quality. Their price was fair. Their work ethic was very good. They showed up on time and got the job done.

Low quality, overpriced, and this experience with Ted the p*** for a president is just the tip of the iceberg. Ted Halladay(president) was a nice reminder that some people start their own business so that they have more freedom to be an a****** whenever they want. If I pay 700 for a dog door then my wife gets frustrated about the poor quality of it then after having to pay two more times within a month to fix a flap I'm going to ask whats up with a warranty Ted and I expect a better answer than oh you can't warranty that you need "to train your dog to not do that" (referencing going in and out of the dog door) well that just makes you an idiot Ted. I hope you calling me back so you could hang up on me made you feel better though. Keep taking that money from those customers son. Cheers

It was not real competitive and in fact, I have not used anybody on glass yet either. I am still trying to pull information. They were good as far as their communication with me and their responsiveness. They were professional and good at getting back with me.

These guys are great. I have used them twice now. They are professional. My wife feels safe with them in the home without me. They do great work and clean up after themselves. I will use them again in the future.

They responded very professional and fast! But from the three providers I got a quote for a glass window replacement, they were the ones with the higher quote for the same job, I am not a glass expert to evaluate if the glass quality/job warranty was the difference but they did not explain it though.

Very punctual, both for the quote and when they came back to install the windows. Loved their price, quality and professionalism. They took the time to explain what they were doing, how it was different from others, and what I can expect from the replacement glass. I love my new windows - they look amazing!

i liked the punctuality and follow-up by this company but their prices were significantly higher than those from a couple of other "A"rated competitors that had also provided estimates (for example, they charge $35 for screens that others had in the $20-25 range). the glass guru does factor a "discount" into the estimate at the end but their overall cost was still higher. i showed them some highlighted differentials from the other estimates i had to see if the were willing to be more competitive but they rescinded their proposal instead.

The quote they gave me turned out to be very expensive. I also could not use them since they could not fix my existing windows. Their focus on a service is fixing the vapor issue with existing windows which could not be done since my windows were not fixable.

Glass Gurus were polite, prompt, and affordable. I'd use them again anytime.

Arrived on time, placed order. Fair price on windows, warranty is only 10 years. Only hitch was the payment, he forgot to email me receipt from his ipad and the credit card company cancelled the payment. He had to run it again! I would use them again.

Final result was very positive. It took a little time with little notification to get work started. Once complete, I was not home and they replaced a couple wrong windows. They later came back and replaced the correct windows and left the mistaken windows in place with no charge.

I had a pane of glass break in my fireplace. It was one of 4 glass panes. I started with the gas log manufacturer and their rep to get a new pane of glass. (it was held in by some screws and a gasket....which I knew I could handle myself). They would not even consider selling me a new piece, they wanted 350 for a whole new door. I called Glass Guru, and even though they did not currently carry this type of glass, they asked if I would give them a day to look into getting it for me, and what do you know...the next day they told me they would replace it (with the exact spec I gave them from my user's guide) and I had it delivered to me within a week (and this was over Christmas). Thank you! Sometimes you can just tell by talking to the party on the other side that they know what they are talking about and that they want your business and are willing to get off their bum and help you out.

It went very good overall. The price was great and the punctuality was excellent. I did have to negotiate a double seal on each window and 10 year warranty as opposed to a 1 year warranty.

Very responsive!! Called back within 24 hours and an appointment was set. I needed a quote on a glass/door replacement and guidance on damage found near two front windows. The representative was prompt and willing to share knowledge. When it is time to replace the glass in the door frame, I will definitely use this company.

We were very pleased with the work that Glass Guru did. They were prompt, professional, and did an excellent job. We have beautiful clear windows now and at a much more reasonable price than replacing the entire windows. We would highlty recommend this company.

I contacted The Glass Guru of Frisco under the recommendation of a realtor friend. Glass Guru advertises the repair of fogged (broken seal) windows without replacing the glass which would save me money, so I gave them a call. They were out promptly to provide a bid. I was informed that their advertised fogged window repair process would not work on my aluminum windows. I was disappointed but asked them to provide an estimate for glass replacement of the fogged windows. Their bid was reasonable and was only a few dollars more than my other bids. It would take about 10 days to process the glass order. Since they are a stable, nationwide company (with a good product warranty) I went with them. They returned to install the windows about 2 weeks later. They were prompt, professional and courteous the entire time. So far, no problems with leaks even after a big rain storm. Cost averaged $120/window installed. The Frisco office of The Glass Guru just started doing shower enclosures. I was updating the master bathroom and wanted either a frameless or nickel-finish enclosure. They took precise measurements and gave me a fair quote on a nickel-finish enclosure with new tempered glass. I gave them the go-ahead and they did not even require a deposit. They returned 2-3 weeks later and did an excellent job of installation. The new enclosure looks great! Cost was around $1500. I will use them again in the future.
