It has been good so far and everything has been on time. I will see how it goes. I will continue to use them.

Green Tex has been my landscaping company for a little over a year now. So far I've been very pleased with the work that they have done. They have cleared out my beds from weeds, trimmed my bushes and shrubs, put down mulch, treated the lawn for weeds, and repaired the sprinklers. Additionally I have them mow on a weekly basis. I have always been happy with the people that I speak to on the phone. They have always been friendly and helpful. I am consistently pleased with the landscaping work, and the weed situation on our lawn is significantly improved from last year when they began. Their workers who come and mow are timely and respectful of our property. Overall, I've been very happy with Green Tex.

The service provided was unwilling to send a representative over to our house to "walk" the property to be serviced. Instead, she relied on a Google Earth GPS system to calculate the estimated cost of service. I explained that at least one-third of our property was unusable, therefore not treated, but its not something you can see from a satellite image! To no avail, she was estimating our property at 29,000 square feet when in actuality it is about 13,000 square feet. Thus, I was unwilling to pay the price she quoted.

After 30 years of mowing, I decided I didn't want to do it anymore. So, 2 years ago I hired GreenTex to do the chore for me. Twice a month like clockwork, they mow my yard (usually after I've left for work so I'm never disturbed by the sound of mowers). Yard definitely looks better than when I did it. I think I only had to contact them once about a question and my email was promptly returned. They only email invoices, I do wish I'd get a paper invoice but that's not a big deal. The emailed invoice does allow you to do an online payment which is very easy. I have a pretty small lot and a swimming pool takes up most of the back yard. They are normally done mowing in under 10 minutes, so the price does feel a little high.

Green Tex has been my landscaping company for the last two years. I should have rated them sooner. They are a pleasure to do business with. It's all so easy--you can email any one of several people at the company, they confirm and off you go. Even bills can be paid automatically or one at a time online. They do a beautiful job each week--they're fast but don't miss a thing. I've hired them for hourly trimming as well. You would be amazed at what they are able to get done in one hour with three guys. They're worth every penny as I haven't had to even think about my yard for the last two years.

Applied fertilizer treatment. Received a confirmation email with a timeline for service upon purchase. I called them with specifics that they noted in my file and when they applied the treatment they left notice of such.

This offer is for 3 lawn treatment from fall to the spring. I will know the result by next spring. It took them some delay before my lawn was served due to the equipment/schedule issue, but overall I am satisfied. If it is effective, I will choose them again.

The $90 was an Angie's list Big Deal, which includes 3 fertilization treatments. The 1st one was completed on 10/15/13 & the other 2 are scheduled for Jan & Mar 2014. Sheila was very good about contacting me within 1-2 days following my purchase & setting up the service dates. We had to pay a little extra ($8) since we have a large lot,but I was expecting that & felt that it was a reasonable rate. We also use Greentex for our bi-monthly lawn service which is $32/mowing for our large corner lot (9500 sq ft). Overall, they have been very reliable & e-mail me when the recent rains keep them from coming out.

They have fertilized my yard and aerated the yard.

They have done a great job and it turned out really nice. I liked the overall quality of their workmanship and their flexibility. I was happy with their pricing, but I did not really shop around. I would say they provide good value. They also do my monthly maintenance and I have had them back to do several other minor projects.

Green-Tex does an amazing job and has been professional since day one. They are courteous, quick and priced right. All of our neighbors want to know who does our lawn.

Home inspection showed a leak, so GreenTex came right out and found the leak in the sprinkler system.

We decided not to do the project as the house is over improved for the area, but Aaron gave us a fair price and put a lot of effort in designing a system. If we change our minds, we're definitely calling him back. He's professional, detail oriented and fairly priced.

Service started great in 2012. The company worked well and managed all my requests. The lawn looked pretty good all year and I loved the fertilzation plan. That all changed in 2013. I guess GreenTex got a new "scheduler" and I was dropped from the list to be mowed in March even after receiving notification via e-mail that I would receive service. When I called Aaron, I was told it was a "new scheduler" issue and I would be added back. I was even invoiced for a mow in March that GreenTex corrected when I pointed out the error. Another week went by and I was not prioritized to get caught up with everyone else that had already been mowed. GreenTex didn't have any problem fertilizing my lawn and putting their "Serviced By" sign in my yard (right in the middle of my tall grass). I continued to ask and finally got this e-mail from Aaron: "Good afternoon. We are planning on coming out first thing tomorrow morning. I am been struggling with the schedule in regards to your yard. I have a crew over your way on Monday doing other yards, and that would be the most efficient for us. We will mow tomorrow, but skip this coming Monday. Then going forward we would mow on Mondays if that works for you. Thanks, and I appreciate your business! Aaron" GreenTex NO SHOWED on the promise date. When I tried to call...no answer and no return e-mail. I guess I was being quietly told to deal with it. GreenTex did show up on Monday, but I guess it was a new crew leader. They failed to mow all the way to the neighbors driveway. I now have a 2 foot strip of unmowed and edged grass all the way down the property. They failed to edge the beds around both trees in the front yard. They ran mower over the river rock in the back yard rough enough to disrupt and unalign the larger edge stones...did not move them back (I'm not just being picky here...it was pretty bad). I have canceled my service with them. I hope you have better luck with them.

I received an estimate of $1661 for 7-Step fertilizer and weekly lawn mowing within 24 hours of my request. I requested an explanation of the 7-Step fertilization ($346) and the response took 6 days. I was also told that the mowing (I requested them to mow the grass high (raise tires), edge straight down and pull weeds) would start in the next two weeks and my lawn would have it's first fertilization treatment in the next two weeks. The lawn service arrived and they did not get any of the requests (I found 1 person out of the 3 that spoke English and told him to mow the grass high, edge straight down and pull the weeds in the flowers beds). The fertilization took 2 1/2 weeks before they performed the first treatment. I have had a second mowing and they did not mow the grass high or pull weeds. I am not sure if I have had a second fertilization treatment or not (the weeds are starting to die). I am still on the fence with this company. I am not sure if I will continue their service. They gave me an estimate that was $10 less expensive than my previous lawn service, but they will charge an additional $5 to pull weeds. I will update with future services. UPDATED: 10-6-13 I have contacted the company each time that I had an issue. It seems like the correct mowing (they now call it "number 4", which is the number on the tires when they are raised), only lasts two weeks. I have to call at least once a month to remind them to mow the grass high. The response that Green Tex placed on this review is implying that I don't let them know when I have issues, which is not the case. I even received an e-mail from them requesting that I update my review on Angie's List. I feel insulted by their response to my review and their demand to update my review. I will be canceling my service on 10-7-13. I don't need to be bullied into updating my review or have them respond to my review with incorrect information.

Called and spoke to Aaron on a Saturday. I told him what I was wanting to do with my yard. He said he had a job in my area the next week and he would come by and look at my yard and then give me some suggestions and a quote. That is the last time I spoke to him. They never came by or called. I waited over a week and then contacted someone else. Very irresponisble on their part.

So far so good! The whole season of work is not complete yet. Service just began this week.

I purchased a new home in McKinney, TX while still living in WA. GreenTex did a great job of taking care of my lawn when I was not able to do so since I was out of the area. Every week they ensured that my lawn was mowed and that edges were kept trimmed.

Aaron arrived on time and we went over ideas for updating the landscaping in our front yard. After hearing my ideas, he was able to accommodate our wishes and come up with a plan using native plants that will do well in the North Texas area. The work was done the following day and we are very pleased with the results.

Called for a quote on May 3rd and was pleased that Aaron came to my house the next day. After inspecting my landscape, said he would have a quote later that day or the next but did not receive until Monday after I emailed asking for a quote. I didn't feel like Aaron was too enthused after hearing the amount of money I wanted to pay. His quote for the amount of work I was willing to do was in the middle of the pack from all vendors but I felt he had little interest in the job, maybe I was wrong but there must be a connection with the vendor you trust to work on your investment. Aaron did not provide a sketch, drawing or plans of the work to be done which I was expecting. There was no follow up from Aaron on the quote which I feel should have occured

I have used Greentex for a year now and I'm very happy with their service. They are prompt and professional. They provide quotes for any major work quickly and are able to get the work done within 1-2 weeks. Most recently, I requested a major overhaul of my front yard that included tree trimming, trimming of shrubs, weeding, and mulching. It took one week from the time the request for a quote was made, to the time that the work was done. I am very pleased with the results and will continue to work with Greentex.

The work on my yard began on 6/27 and was completed on 6/29. The results are amazing. I've gone from the "worst" yard on the block to the best. In fact, as Aaron's crew was working on my yard, a neighbor stopped by and asked for someone to come by to give him a quote for his yard. I've received many compliments on the new look. I would definitely recommend GreenTex.

The service was on time and they did great work!

Called twice to have someone come to the house to look at my front yard and provide ideas on landscaping and management. First call on May 24th, talked to receptionist who said she would have Aaron call me back within 24 hours. Never rec'd a call so called back on May 31st and got voice mail in which I left a message that I never heard back from my call on the 24th and to please call to schedule an appointment. Never heard back from anyone. Have no desire to do business with this company due to lousy customer service up front.
