Striker Home Design

Striker roofing is the most dishonest company I have ever dealt with. The project manager Erik was a “used car” sales guy, telling you everything you want to hear but not following up on his promises. We originally were told our roof would cost X amount and would not be much over that. We cut a check for that amount, expecting to pay a little more on the final invoice. But that number kept changing and was way more then he told us. We never got an itemized invoice. What we did get was an invoice for more than the insurance company paid out in total. Just listing “Roof, Window, Fence, and Gutter R&R, no detailed breakdown. We only hired Striker to do the roof and gutters. They were charging us for all the damage plus some, even though we never hired them to do the windows and the fence, plus some other minor damages. They kept pushing us to have valuations for our fence and promised us that the insurance would pay to replace the whole fence. Now it looks like they are trying to charge use for those valuations. And the insurance company did not agree with them. When we asked the project manager to get the owner or a manger above him to call us, they just went and put a lien on our house. We had another contractor come out and look at what was done and not everything on the roof was done. We have no idea on this because we never received an itemized invoice. Which by law is owed to the consumer. After talking with another contractor, we were made aware of felonies that Striker committed during this process. Which we have documents to prove. I am putting this review up as I do not want anyone else to be screwed over like my family has by them.

Striker was wonderful! The work was professionally and quickly. We didn't find one single nail or piece of trash after the job was finished. Tyler was so kind and communicated constantly.

We live in a pier and beam 2 story house. We had a hot water leak that destroyed our entire subfloor of our home. Reid Fischer from Striker Roofing and Home Design showed up the 2nd day, found the leak, replaced the pipe and assisted us in getting the process to dry out our crawl space anf moved out begun. Reid talked to us almost every day. We had mold and this was a long process. We made the decision to do a lot of remodeling since we had to strip the floors out and the Striker team was phenomenal! Once they were able to begin putting our house back together they worked relentlessly to get us back into our home. The house is beautiful and we are so happy! It's like living in a new home.
