The work they did was great. I did have questions regarding changing the colors for the trim colors and was thinking of going from a Hunter Green to a cream white color and wasn't sure how it would look or if I should just keep the current colors the same. Korey came on-site to review my questions, concerns and provide recommendations. He came out on a Saturday morning with several paint brochures and palettes and helped discuss ideas and ultimately provided an excellent complimentary base and trim colors. Also, because of how the first level of the house slants together at the base of the front porch, there was some concern of how to configure the gutters but Korey was confident that they could install them to make sure water would not pour onto the front porch. We were able to schedule the gutter and exterior paint work within a week of deciding the colors. The planning of the installation of gutters was based around the decision of what I decided to do with the trim color. Before anything was ever done, Korey was always up front if he thought there might be any additional costs or if they found something they didn't anticipate during the quoting. The only additional costs were the couple of extra gallons necessary for covering the dark trim with a light trim color. Again, this was an anticipated cost. Korey coordinated all the scheduling of the gutter installation and painting and I didn't have to be home of any of it. He came out personally to review all the work done and even had his guys come back to fix up a couple of things because, even though I found the work satisfactory, he thought it could look better.His crew was very professional and did a great job cleaning up the scraped paint and old caulking. He stressed several times to call him if I had an issues or concerns any time as their goal was to always have a satisfied customer - and that they did. As it was, I had to go out of town while the majority of the painting was done but Korey sent me pictures so I could see the progress and when I got home, it looked like a brand new house. I couldn't be happier with the work done and the colors that Korey helped select. I still smile every time I drive up to the house and have had several people comment on how it looks like a new house. I plan on using Korey and his team again when it is time to get the interior of the house painted.

The service Protek provided went as planned. Their team showed up on time and finished the entire job by 5:00 PM. The professionalism was excellent the quality of their work exceptional. Very friendly and accommodating. Would use them again.

Jarrod was prompt and considerate. All done in 1 day even thought they worked until 7:30 pm. They spent a lot of time preparing surfaces, covering up and moving furniture. I picked out the color and love it, but it turned out different than I expected. Not their fault, but would recommend to everyone to have a part of the wall painted as a test. That would avoid being disappointed. The price was competitive, the service professional and I'd definitely use them again.

Quick quote. Prompt project start on the dates that were convenient to us. Fantastic, high quality service, professional, clean/tidy (a plus), performed on time, on budget, followed up promptly to inspect/touch up the next day or two. While the bid was not the lowest, the work was worth the extra. Would definitely recommend Protek Painting to others.

Used multiple times, same freat job. The prep work in where it all is. They pay attention to detail like it is their own home. Will always use for painting needs without a doubt. I can't believe we didn't use them for the kitchen cabinets when we moved in, we shouldn't have waited until we sold!!

Went well, crew arrived on schedule, completed job on schedule, returned for some minor touch-up on schedule.

Jarrod told me when the crew would be here to begin on a Thursday. I was working the next day, so he said they could come finish on Saturday if we didn't mind living with everything being taped up/covered. The crew seemed very organized and got to work tearing off wallpaper and prepping the other bathroom for paint. Jarrod stopped by to clarify paint colors and what was being painted (ceiling in one but not the other, etc.) On Saturday, they returned at the time promised and finished by the end of the day. They cleared everything away with very little mess. We will definitely use them again to do other rooms in the spring.

Jarrod came to our house and gave us a quick quote. Although Protek's quote was not the cheapest we received, Jarrod stood behind the company's work and made us confident that Protek would do a good job. He was honest about saving price on paints, but was able to go with any paint-type we requested. He also made recommendations about how paints would work best together flowing from one room to the next. The work started on a Monday morning and Jarrod came by for a walk-through to make sure the crew knew all the tasks to complete. As we did the walk-through, the crew got right to work preparing to paint. They did a great job and finished in 3 days. They even did extra things for us that were not requested, such as clean bugs out of an enclosed ceiling light fixture. They cleaned up everything and the house looks great. The next day Jarrod came back for a final walk-through and offered to take care of other issues that we might later notice. We were very satisfied and would highly recommend Protek for any interior painting needs.

Korey and his team did a GREAT job. Attention to detail and the attitude of the work crew were second to none. The house has never looked better.

I highly recommend the team at Protek. They were prompt in all of their appointments, worked diligently with our insurance company and very patient as we worked out the choices for our materials. When it came time for the scheduled work to begin the entire team was in our driveway by 7:30am. The crew was respectful and very attentive to details. Kory was onsite at the start of the project and again as things were wrapping up to make sure things were done to his satisfaction.

I had to change the original appointment. Although the lead contractor's voice mail was full and I couldn't confirm ahead of time that they would be there for the new appointment, he called me the morning of and had his crew there early and ready to work. They were easy to work with and gave me good advice and input. They were very professional and didn't make a mess. The team came on time, they did exactly what I asked them to, worked quickly, and they charged me exactly what they quoted. They made the bedrooms look so good, I asked them to stay and paint the living room and hallways. They did that for a small extra charge. I will definitely use them again when I get ready to remodel my family room and kitchen.

We hired Protec to paint the exterior of our old home so we could put it on the market, as well as the full interior of our new home. In both cases, Jarrod came out to meet us and provided us with a detailed, line-by-line estimate within a day or two. He also provided paint brochures and worked with us to fit both jobs into our schedules for moving and selling the house. The work on both houses was done faster than estimated, within budget and with excellent quality. The professional quality and attention to detail was outstanding, from pressure washing the brick exterior, to fixing carpentry where needed and protecting our brand-new wood floors, we were highly impressed by the meticulousness of the work. For the interior of the house, Jarrod did a walk through with us and made sure his crew fixed all issues (minor) we saw.

These guys were very professional from start to finish.Jarrod who gave me the estimate came and made sure what needed to be painted and introduced me to the paint crew leader. All the colors were verified. Which was nice to have everything double checked before they started. The paint crew was very polite and very tidy. I cant say enough how great everybody was from Jarrod and the paint crew. Am having them to come out and do my game room and upstairs plus the exterior.

They did a great job. I was able to see the pre-paint work which was substantial. It was expensive but I felt like I paid for a quality product. The paint job looks great and its good to know what happened before the paint went on.

We are very happy with the outstanding job done by Protek. From our initial meeting with Jarrod Hamlin to the final touch up by Salvadore, we could not be a more satisfied customer. Jarrod answered all of our questions and addressed all of our concerns through out the entire job. He never failed to reply to an email or phone call. Even after the job was completed and had our payment he made sure the touch ups we requested were completed. Thank you Jarrod. Also, thanks to Jemmy and his crew for the detailed and excellent work performed ... Salvadore, Emmit, and the other crew members. The crew worked hard from the minute they arrived in the morning until they finished for that day. They never stopped working .... they were here on time and worked until they completed what they needed to do for that day. Even after the job was completed and they moved on to another job they made sure all the final touch ups were completed. Thank you.

I secured estimates from 3 different A rated Angie's list companies for exterior and interior painting. I knew that my budget constraints would not allow me to complete the entire painting and remodeling projects at once, so I asked that the estimates be broken down into manageable components. Of the three, Protek did the best job of detailing the costs of the different aspects of the painting job. Jarrod arrived on time and not only did he estimate each room separately, he also broke out the other aspects such as trim, ceiling, cabinets, and doors. This allowed me to bundle the work according to my budget. Additionally, they were running an Angie's list deal that helped reduce the overall costs. I decided to paint the exterior, master bedroom and bath, hallway and a 2nd bedroom. I did not include the trim or cabinet in this round. I contacted Jarrod on Thursday to let him know I wanted to move forward and he was able to schedule me for a Monday start. I emailed him my color choice for the exterior over the weekend. The crew arrived early Monday morning and let me know they would begin by powerwashing the exterior. Jarrod arrived a bit later to check on how things were going and to confirm my decisions for the interior. The crew spent all of Monday working on the exterior painting and repairs. They did a great job of covering windows and preparing the exterior for painting. They even put up protective paper on the neighbors car to protect it from any potential paint overspray. When they left for the day, everything was clean and neat and placed back where it belonged. Tuesday morning, the crew arrived around 8:00 am and immediately began to prepare the interior. There were several walls that required repair from foundation issues. They took care of the cracks and texturing prior to painting. The crew worked diligently throughout the day and completed everything by around 4:30 pm. They did an excellent job of covering and protecting the trim, flooring and furnishings of each room and after they were done, they moved everything back and again did a great job of clean-up. Jarrod kept in contact throughout, stopping by or calling to check progress and to ensure things were going according to my expectations. Even before Jarrod came for the final walk-through, the crew members had me come and inspect their work to correct anything that they didn't see. Any concerns were immediately addressed. Jarrod and his crew were friendly, dependable, and professional throughout. I am very happy with the work that was completed and will use them again for the next segment of work to be done.

No follow-up, no return calls. promises made but not kept

After their slick presentation and overall positive ratings on Angie's, I decided to give Protek Painting the job of prepping and painting our home. However, the presentation was the only positive part of my experience with this company. On the day they were scheduled to start, they didn't show up until noon. They pressure cleaned my entire 3900 square ft, 2 story house in 30 - 45 minutes. I think it goes without saying that this was sub par work. After this, the crew basically left, leaving only one man here to scrape, prep and caulk (...and not well, I might add). I called Jarrod several times during the next few hours, asking why only one man was here when he had promised a crew of 3 or 4. I was told, each time, that the rest of the crew was off buying the materials needed for my job. Four hours later and still only one man at my house, I had pretty much decided that this wasn't going to work out and told Jarrod as much. Soon thereafter Cory, the owner, called me to try to explain the real reason why the paint crew left and apologize. Meanwhile I spent an hour picking up old caulking that had been dropped and left all over the ground, spraying dog poop off my patio, and generally trying to "clean up" the mess they had left behind. To his credit, Cory did seem to make every effort to come up with a way to try to "fix" the situation and wanted to send in another crew to start "brand new" the next day, but in the end I just wasn't willing to give them another try.

Korey came out to do the estimate. He arrived on time and was very professional and thorough. The work was done on time and we were very happy with all of the work done. They cleaned up everything when they were done. I would highly recommend this company and would use them again for any painting I need done.

They were great, I would recommend them to anyone. The sales manager, Kevin Cheatham, was very personable answered any questions I had. He checked on the project on a daily basis. The workers checked with us throughout the project.

Came out promptly, but never called back or gave estimate. Never call again

Protek put no emphasis on customer service in the small dealings I had with them. And they wasted my time.

Overall this is one of the best experiences we have had with a contractor. Kevin was very customer oriented. He has a strong desire to ensure that the customer is completely satsified with the work his company does. I would not hesitate to have Kevin do our next project. I also would strongly recommend Kevin and Protek.

The workers came on time and were very careful in moving furniture, covering, taping, and clean up. They did a very good job. Very neat.
