PRIDE SVC

Initially Jack came to my house (through my home warranty company) to fix my refrigerator and for a $75 service fee, he dethawed my refrigerator. He told me that if the fridge became noisy in the next 7 days that basically it would be unfixable and they would inform my home warranty company. Well 3 days after he came the fridge got noisy and hot. I called him and waited. Called again, waited, Called my home warranty company. They said they would call Pride because all they needed was a diagnosis that it was unfixable. Long story short, that was in December and it is now March (3 and a half months later). I finally got a hold of Jack today and asked if he could at least call my warranty company as I have had a dead fridge in my home for 3 1/2 months and he said "no call them yourself" and hung up on me. All it would take to resolve this is a simple diagnosis but Pride Services cant even do that. I would not recommend this company to anyone, ever.

Pride received pump on 07/27/20. No call to consumer. Consumer called 07/31/20 and was told maybe service on 08/01/20 or 08/03/20. No firm date given. On 08/01/20 Home Depot Protection Plan (1-800-466-3337) told consumer they would call Pride on 08/03/20. They told consumer that Home Depot would not call consumer back! Consumer must now rely upon whims of small (2 man ?) Home Depot contractor. The consumer states that the Home Depot charged him for 2 pedestals for a Home Depot washer & dryer which they did not deliver until after 4 reschedules of delivery. Bottom line: Do not do business with Pride and Home Depot in Allen TX. Go to Lowe's or Best Buy. And beware of Home Depot service contractors.
