He took the time to make sure all of our concerns were met and that we did everything he could ensure complete customer satisfaction. The pricing for the initial visit is definitely a bit high, but the recurring treatments seem to be about the same as competitors. If the recurring treatments go as well as the first visit, it is definitely worth it.
Description of Work: Initial meeting to review pest problems experienced to date and to establish a treatment plan going forward.

+ 0 moreWe are a customer of their pest control for several years - that part is really good. They always call before they come and seem to do a good job. I would not recommend the wildlife part. We have had trouble with animals in our attic, and they are very inconsistent in keeping their dates and going after work. We have been waiting for a month now for them to come back and finish what they had said they were going to do. The wildlife branch is very erratic with their work. The price for the regular service is about $90 every two months. The wildlife portion of the work is under a contract for probably over $1000. Because of our experience with the wildlife branch of it, when our contract comes up for renewal, we will probably look for somebody else.
Description of Work: We use Orkin Pest Control for regular pest control and for animal removal.

+ -1 moreI have been using them for about eleven years and I’ve been happy with them. It’s a large company that has been around for many years so I feel comfortable with them. They come by appointment, especially if they are coming into the house.
Description of Work: Orkin comes out quarterly to do my pest control. They spray on the outside to prevent the pests from coming in and they’ll spray inside if I ask them to.

+ -1 moreI used another company before using them but Orkin does a far better job controlling insects in my home than they ever did. Their pricing is very reasonable and I am very satisfied with them.
Description of Work: Orkin treats my 1800 square foot home for insects and rodents. I pay them on a yearly basis.

+ -1 moreWe haven't had any problems since they have been spraying. They come on time and remind us when we are due for service again. I found the company on the internet. They are not the cheapest but they are reasonable and they get the job done. They wear uniforms when they come and are very professional.
Description of Work: Orkin sprayed the outside and the inside of my 1500 square foot house. They treated for ants and they come every other month.

+ -1 moreEVERY PERSON THAT HAS TREATED OUR HOUSE HAS BEEN VERY FRIENDLY. THEY DO HAVE A BIG TURN AROUND ON THEIR PERSONNEL. THE TREATMENTS WORK PRETTY GOOD, BUT DO NOT ELIMINATE EVERYTHING.

+ -1 moreORKIN DID NOT GET RID OF THE ANIMAL IN THE ATTIC. WE STILL HEAR THE SOUNDS. SOME OF THIS MAY NOT BE THEIR PROBLEM, BUT MORE TO DO WITH THE ROOF. OVERALL, THEY DID THEIR JOB. WE DID NOT CONTINUE WITH THEM SINCE THEIR PRICES WERE INCREASING AND WE DID NOT SEE MUCH BENEFIT.
Description of Work: ANNUAL CONTRACT FOR PEST CONTROL SERVICES. SPRAYED THE OUTSIDE AND INSIDE OF OUR HOUSE. CHECKED FOR SQUIRRELS IN THE ATTIC SINCE I HEARD SOUNDS COMING FROM THERE. CAME OUT TO THE HOUSE EVERY OTHER MONTH FOR REGULAR SERVICE AND WHEN WE CALLED FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICE.

+ -1 moreWE PAID THEM OVER MANY MONTHS, ONLY TO HAVE OUR INSECT AND MICE PROBLEMS INCREASE RATHER THAN DECREASE. THE COMPANY WILL INCONVENIENCE YOU IN NOT SHOWING UP FOR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS. THEIR TECHNICIAN IS LAZY, AND YOU WILL HAVE TO COMPLAIN TO GET HIM TO SOLVE PROBLEMS. FOR EXAMPLE, WE HAD NUMEROUS MICE PROBLEMS, BUT THE TECHNICIAN WOULD NOT LOOK IN THE ATTIC UNTIL I COMPLAINED NUMEROUS TIMES, INCLUDING CALLING THE CORPORATE OFFICE TWICE. WHEN YOU TELEPHONE THE BRANCH OFFICE, THE MANAGERS ARE RUDE. IN OUR CASE, WE PAID AN EXTRA $87.68 WITHOUT SERVICE JUST TO TERMINATE OUR OBLIGATION OR CONTRACT. YOU WILL REGRET HIRING THIS BRANCH OF ORKIN. THEY DO POOR WORK, ONLY CARE ABOUT GETTING PAID, AND WILL ARGUE WITH YOU WHEN YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT SERVICES NOT RENDERED.
Description of Work: WE HIRED THEM TO DO ROUTINE PEST CONTROL SERVICES ON AN EVERY OTHER MONTH BASIS. WE HAD AWFUL SERVICE. THE TECHNICIAN RARELY ARRIVED ON SCHEDULED TIMES, CALLING TO SAY HIS TRUCK WAS RUNNING. THEN HE WOULD SHOW UP ON UNSCHEDULED TIMES, LEAVING A STATEMENT IN OUR DOOR. THEN THEY MAIL YOU A CHAIN LETTER STATING THAT THEY PUT A CHEMICAL BARRIER AROUND YOUR HOUSE. IN OUR CASE, THAT IS NOT POSSIBLE BECAUSE WE HAVE TWO LOCKED GATES AROUND THE HOUSE. WE HAD OUR PEST PROBLEMS MULTIPLY INSTEAD OF DIMINISH AFTER WE STARTED SERVICE WITH ORKIN. WHEN YOU CALL THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT, THEY ARE RUDE. IN OUR CASE, THE MANAGER ADMITTED THAT THEY DIDN'T DO THE SERVICE THAT THEIR LETTER CLAIMED THEY HAD DONE. THEY NEVER DID THE SERVICE, BUT THEY CHARGED US $87.68. YOU WILL REGRET IT IF YOU HIRE ORKIN.
