J & K Plumbing

Three months later, our shower still has not been repaired, even after numerous calls to J and K plumbing for a status update on the replacement parts--they absolutely do not return follow up calls. They also reported the work order as "complete" to AHS, even though the invoice states that parts needed to be ordered. We are now in (so far unresponsive) contact with AHS to resolve this issue, but that may be another story. Bottom line--I will never use J and K again.

I have AHS home warranty and they sent J & K plumbing to fix my leaks. Now I 100% agree with the other review that said "Even if AHS decides to send them out for any future plumbing issues, I will decline their services and ask for another plumber....Please do the same!!!! ". The plumber was very rude and his behavior was lacking any professionalism. I can say that it was my worse experience ever with AHS recommended companies.

It went great! He had the parts on the truck, changed them out and that was that! He was very friendly too.

They were good and I would recommend them.

The only reason I used this company was due to my home warranty. I was not happy with having to use them because they have an "F" rating with the BBB. When they arrived, they said they couldn't fix it because someone had to get on roof to clear the line and they were not permitted to get on the roof. They indicated they would notify my home warranty company who would send someone out the same day. When he left, he left my bathroom an absolute mess. I never heard from anyone else that day. I called the home warranty company the next day who informed me they never heard from J& K as to the status of my work. Regardless of that, they didn't cover work that required accessing the roof and I would have to hire my own plumber. I did this. The next plumber came and was able to repair the issue without accessing the roof. I had to pay J& K a service fee for doing nothing and then pay the new plumber to complete and fix the work... and they cleaned up the bathroom prior to leaving. I would not recommend using this company. They seem to only be in it to collect the service fee per the agreement they have with the home warranty company and not complete the work. I also found it unacceptable to leave dirty puddles all over my bathroom as well. Very unprofessional.

J&K Plumbing was recommended by our home warranty service. 0ur garbage disposal was leaking water and I called my home owner warranty service. They recommended J&K and told me that I should receive a call from them within 24 to 48 hours. I received a call about 2 hours later and the repairman came out that afternoon. The repair was done in an expedient manner and I was very satisfied with the work. Everything was top notch and the only criticism I would have is that the repairman seemed to talk a little too much. But the job got done within one hour. I would definitely use them again. The above price was my deductible so I could not rate the price of the service.

Called J&K back with info. Was told they would come back and retest pressure with a different tester. I smell scam!

I used this provider through my home warranty program (AHS). I was extremely pleased with both the professionalism of the tech and the solution to my problem. I first need to state that a few weeks ago, I had hired another plumbing company to come out and was less than impressed by both their professionalism and appearance and their failure to fix an unrelated problem. So, of course, I was nervous about what to expect this time around. When the plumber got here, I was super impressed at how NICE he was when I met him at the door. Next, when I showed him my problem, he got right to work fixing my broken toilet. It probably took him all of 30 minutes to complete the job. After he left, my house wasn't dirty or smelly. He left everything the way it was when he came in. That was a stark comparison to last time where the previous plumbers left a sickening smell in the air and nastiness everywhere which made my skin crawl. It probably took me an hour to clean up that time. Needless to say, I would DEFINITELY hire J and K Plumbing again. In fact, I was so impressed, I asked the guy if we could specifically request them through AHS should I ever need a plumber again.

Even if AHS decides to send them out for any future plumbing issues, I will decline their services and ask for another plumber....Please do the same!!!! My home warranty (AHS), (they always send the top notch companies right?), had J&K come to look at my toilet at the base where the toilet meets the floor. The technician looked at it, moved it , the toilet wobbled slightly and declared that the floor was not level, and would require to dig into the foundation to level it out to fix the problem. He sent the claim into AHS and of course they declined to fix the problem because the foundation was not even. I received a letter from AHS and they stated that they would not cover the repair work because that is not a part of the contract. Since then, I had another plumber of my choosing, Ernie's plumbing, which has great reviews on Angie's List come out to give me a free in home estimate. The technician actually pulled the toilet up and saw that the flange was broken in 2 places. That is why it was leaking. He took the flange out, replaced it with a new one, and voila, problem solved. I had top spend $260 of my own money to get this simple issue fixed, when the other tech was trying to jack the price up for AHS not to cover, and then for me to hopefully spend thousands because of the fraudulent determination of an uneven foundation.

They were wonderful. I really liked it because they didn't try to oversell everything. They were very economical and wanted to solve my problem. They explained it thoroughly. They accidentally broke one of my toilets and replaced the entire thing. They came to me and told me what they did. It was just a small crack and wasn't even pouring water much. They said "we ordered you a new toilet and are replacing it". I wouldn't have even known that they had done this. They're very honest. I would definitely use them again.

I would recommend J & K Plumbing. I do think they are a little pricey. They did a very good job.

These people do a good job and frankly I don't think they're paid a whole lot. This was contract work through my home warranty company. The experience was a bit "rough around the edges" so to speak but they were friendly, they did a good job and they were thorough. This is not a blue ribbon plumbing company - they do what they're paid for and they do it reasonably well.

It went ok. They unclogged our drains well, but did not propose a good solution for our toilet.

The service technician was efficient and friendly. Fortunately, he had a compatible thermostat on his truck with him, and was able to fix the problem on the same visit. He also gave us some advice on a couple other minor plumbing issues in the house.
