Description of Work: My year and a half old Maytag Cabrio washing machine was causing problems so I called Lowes warranty service since the washer was still within the warranty period. They scheduled me with Grayson Collin Appliance for Wednesday the 14th in the afternoon between 1-5 pm. I waited until 4:30 without word at which point I called them. They said that I was not on their schedule since they had just recieved the request from Lowes that day for the repair. Ok, mistakes happen, so I rescheduled for Friday the 16th between 9-11am. At 9am I decided it might be best to confirm my appointment given what had happened a few days before. When I called I was told that I was accidently placed on the Monday schedule rather than the Friday schedule. Then they asked me if that would work for me. I told them that it would not. They offered to try and see if they could squeeze me in today if they had time. At this point I decided to cancel. I really don't have time to wait around for people who may or may not show up. What a waste.

We had a bad experience with them. We used them several times for appliance repairs. There was a simple problem that he couldn’t solve. They voided the warranty on our refrigerator by the things they did to that and they never did solve the problem with our refrigerator. They are pretty expensive. They had several different service representative showed up and none of them are top quality.

Totally unacceptable customer service especially from their office personnel who did not seem to care when I told them that I was left with an inoperable appliance. I was, however, told that they would reschedule on a day that we could not be at home. Undoubtedly I would have to wait all day since their promises cannot be kept as to AM or PM arrival.
Description of Work: Grayson Collin Appliance and AC is the service provider under my Home Depot Extended Service plan for my LG refrigerator. After my first year under LG service there were three repairs. Then Grayson was the service company who came out for three additional calls. The last two were scheduled for the AM (which I interpreted to mean 8 AM until Noon). On both occasions the service tech (Jimmy) called to notify us that his schedule had been changed and that he would not be able to be at our home in the AM. Our refrigerator is inoperable and they had ben notified of this condition. We now have a total of 6 service calls without resolution. When I asked them why they had told me that they would be here and then had to reschedule they told me that they only "request" that time frame but it is up to the service tech to schedule his day. Of particular note is that they have failed to resolve the same issues which have plagued us for two years and will not make an emergency call after hours (5 PM for them). This is totally unacceptable service from a company which is getting a significant amount of business from extended service contracts with Home Depot. The Home Depot has been notified that this company has failed to meet their obligations to me. I intend to make The Home Depot fully aware of this bad experience.
