Gimme Shelter

After years of researching storm shelters and waiting on the long list for a state rebate that never would be a reality, I could no longer place a price on my piece of mind. There were many factors affecting my decision to purchase from Gimme Shelter: -These shelters are F5 certified, exceeding FEMA 320, 361, and ICC 500 protocols (these are the shelters that we see featured on the news/weather stations undergoing rigorous testing at Texas A&M) -Taylor (the owner) was obviously passionate about not only providing shelter, but doing so with integrity. No gimmicky add-ons, and no extra charges for placing the door with a bullet-proof window on the long side of my unit. -Gimme Shelter is the ONLY co. that includes a 20 yr. transferrable warranty for full replacement of any shelter that is damaged by a storm/tornado. -Due to the fact that it is now "off-season", installation could be scheduled within the week. -After determining placement in my garage and measuring for fit, Taylor saw that I would have to move a large shelf and various items to make space for the shelter. He rolled up his sleeves (in 100 degree temps) and helped me move everything (even taking several items to the attic). YES, this is a lengthy review, but it was an important decision. I cannot express the relief that comes with knowing that I no longer need to crouch in a closet, hoping for the best. I HAVE the best!
