I contacted Mark based on other Angie's List reviews after another estate sale company in the Shreveport area failed to follow through with a meeting (the sale was in Texarkana). Even though it was outside Mark's usual service area, he agreed to meet me in Texarkana and survey the situation (I live in Arlington and found him in the DFW area listings). My mother had lived in the same house almost 47 years and had massive collections of glass, china, and furniture. He saw the potential, and agreed to do the sale at a slightly higher commission due to the travel and logistics involved. He and his helpers made multiple trips from McKinney, stayed in the house several weekends preparing staging, and just generally worked their tails off getting ready for the sale. He advertised widely. On the sale date, he brought in trusted associates and put them up in hotels for the duration of the sale. He had someone stationed in every room of a large house for security, and had a man at the front door controlling traffic flow. The next door neighbor said she saw lights on in the wee hours of the morning as they made final preparations the week of the sale.
A friend of my mother's in the estate sale/auction business attended the sale and pronounced it the best run estate sale he had ever seen. He said he could have never have attempted it because of the sheer quantity of things to be staged and priced. Mark also hired an antiques appraiser to come from Dallas to be sure pricing was accurate. The sale grossed way more than I expected. The higher commission was fair becasue Mark provided lodging for his helpers and spent considerable time at the property. It was more than made up for by the huge success of the sale. Buyers even came from Dallas and many areas of East Texas.
Mark is the consummate professional and should be at the top of the list for someone needing an estate sale.

Several years ago, I heard about Fox Estate Liquidators from a trusted friend of mine. I knew at some point I would need their services. I live in Idaho and the estate I would be taking care of when the time came was in Lewisville TX. I finally met Mark when my friend passed away recently. He came in to the Lewisville house where 60 years of accumulated treasures were stored.
I was able to hand over everything to him and his staff and leave town. I felt very comfortable leaving know that he would take care of the entire process.
He transformed the chaos into a showcase of my friend's prized possessions. I was kept updated on the progress and was able to view the transformation via pictures posted online. The sales was extremely successful and I credit his marketing of the sale and the amazing displays that were created. Everything was set up beautifully.
It was such a relief to know that I did not need to be there to check on everything. It is clear that Mark has put together a great team and that he has a passion for his job.

We needed someone to help us get good prices for our deceased fathers tools. Mr. Fox was great, he came and picked up all the tools, combined them with another estate sale. He was able to get a lot more money for them, than we would ever have been. After the estate sale he gave us a thorough inventory and we received our money within 2 weeks. His fee was 30% which was very reasonable given our situation. Great to work with such a professional company.

Mark Fox and his team at Fox Estate Liquidators did an excellent job start to finish. Our family was very overwhelmed with the death of a loved one. They assisted our family by going through and organizing and displaying treasures that had been collected for over 40 years. They were very professional and worked very hard to meet all deadlines. They also merchandized the house so that the sale would run smoothly and items would be easily seen. Mark did a great job of advertising and promoting our sale thru photographs and the internet. We are so grateful to Mark and his staff. They worked so hard to make sure our sale was a great success. We would absolutely recommend Fox Estate Liquidators to everyone we know. If we ever have to opportunity to have another estate sale, Mark will be the first person we call!

Easy to set up, owner friendly, disposed of unsold items and trash.

It went exceptionally well as we did not have any problems and had very few items left to donate to our church.

The signs leading to our home were placed in appropriate locations. He grouped all items in categories. He gave us an estimate of how much we might net. His estimate was correct.

Everything went extremely well. That was nothing for us to do or to worry about.
