Description of Work: I called and spoke to Bruce who is able to help me over the phone. Bruce gave me some good advice on how to "not" spend money using his service. I thought that because he could have got money out of me by making a "service call", but didn't, speaks to his and the companies integrity! I will be sure to give them a call when I do need any locksmith service!

Description of Work: Excellent! Had a loose doorknob I was afraid was going to come off in my hand and I couldn't figure out how to fix. Bruce suggested several things to do over the phone and once we determined that I wasn't handy, he came out before the day was over. Friendly, courteous, professional service on a pretty small job. This will be who I call next time I need a locksmith!

He explained everything to me and did an excellent job of taking care of the problem so it wouldn't happen again. He even got the door which had never shut properly before to close well. His price was extremely reasonable for all that he did. I would definitely use him again and highly recommend him. He deserves an A+
Description of Work: Firehouse Locksmith came out and unlocked an interior bathroom door which was locked shut. The handle would turn but the latch would not disengage so the door would not open. He opened the door and then replaced a faulty part so the door would function properly

+ -1 moreThese guys were great! The call was promptly answered by Bruce, who was out of the area but took the information and passed it on to Seth. This was an after hours call on a Saturday night! Seth immediately called back to get the address and arrived in 30 minutes! He was courteous, professional and went to work right away to unlock the door. I could not have asked for better service at a more than fair price!

Description of Work: This is the 2nd or 3rd time we have used Firehouse Locksmith. Bruce came over to recore the locks on a new property I purchased (very reasonable cost of $55 for 5 core with 4 keys). One of the locks was in a pretty bad shape - it would have been okay, but Bruce took the time to go above and beyond to fix it which was something beyond his scope of work we had planned for him to do. He further guided me on what was needed per Texas Code for locks on a rental and worked with me to figure out what additional work was needed and then he helped me figure out the most cost efficient way to get the work done. He stayed longer than he planned to ensure I was set and my property was secure. These are down right good, hard working honest people. Hire them without looking further!!!

+ -1 moreWe called Firehouse Locksmith after purchasing our new home. The previous homeowner gave us a single key, which only unlocked the front door. This was a problem, since the storm doors and overhead garage doors needed keys we did not possess. When we called Firehouse Locksmith, they said they could come out the next day. However, they finished early with another customer and came to my home the same day I called. They quickly and efficiently rekeyed the doors and storm doors throughout the house, quoting me a price before we began. Wonderfully, they also managed to rekey the overhead garage door lock, which they were unsure if they would be able to do. The fact that they were able to do the overhead garage door lock is truly exceptional, because they were the only locksmith and/or garage door company I called that said they would even attempt it. Upon finishing, they warned me that the overhead garage door lock may stick a little, but for the last week it has worked perfectly. All in all, the entire process took about two hours. Look no further, and give these guys a call.

+ -1 moreHe arrived right on time. Asked where he could set his tools while he worked. Made the new keys. Re-keyed all seven locks - including dead bolt locks to the same key. Performed other repairs on two dead bolt locks as I requested while he was there - not a problem. Cleaned up everything. Accepted Mastercard for payment. Shook my hand and left me one pleased customer. Great service -- great prices!
Description of Work: Came to my new home at the requested time. Re-keyed seven door locks, repaired issue with two dead bolt locks that was created by the previous installer. He was professional, prompt, and courteous. Very conscientious and overall a great job at a great price. I had seen other locksmiths on Angie's List, but his prices and service level beat all of them hands down. He had originally re-keyed locks for the Realtor Broker's office that we used to purchase the home. If realtors trust a locksmith, you know they have to be good. In the past, he has done a lot of work for home builders and can do both new installs and repairs and re-key jobs. Overall, a great experience. I would highly recommend Firehouse Locksmiths to anyone who needs high quality, affordable, service.
