Description of Work: They fixed our LG Washing Machine. They diagnosed the issue and then had to come back the next day to fix it with a part they had to get.

+ 19 moreWe started by telling Dave what we wanted to spend and what we wanted and he worked from there. His fees were very reasonable and fair. He was in constant communication with us and kept us informed of all of the progress. We were very pleased with all of Dave's work. This project started with just the master bath and bedroom, but we were so pleased that we had him continue with other projects that we were wanting done. Dave takes pride in everything he does and to be sure that his clients are also pleased. This creativity was great in helpling us design the bathroom and bedroom that we wanted. One thing that makes a huge difference is Dave is on the job and oversees the work himself. He has a really good crew that also takes pride in their work. The only delays were because of me changing my mind or delayed delivery of fixtures. The bookshelf that he repainted and replaced the wooden shelves with glass shelves look great. He also added LED lighting. Excellent workmanship. He figured out and corrected an AC problem that has been ongoing for over a year. They reworked the ductwork and added insulation and now we have constant cooling. We had a quote for the same work from another company and we saved several thousand dollars by using Dave. Dave has extentive AC experience. Dave rebuilt our wooden deck in our backyard and with some redesigning it looks better and larger than ever before. The new deck combined with the reworked pavers and edging makes the pool area look like new. We had planned on replacing all of the pavers and brick work, but with Dave's creativity and engineering background we saved money and it looks great. We were always comfortable with Dave and his crew working in the house while we were gone. In fact we did some travelling while the remodel was taking place. We would definitely recommend Engineered Construction Solutions
Description of Work: Remodeled a Master Bathroom and Bedroom - installed travertine floors throughout both rooms. Removed old whirlpool bathtub and installed freestanding airmassage tub with granite ledge. We had extra travertine left, so they added the travertine up half of the wall in the bathroom area. This looked great. Removed old stall shower and installed a walkin shower with bench, two rain heads and hand held fixtures. Shower floor was tile and granite. Replaced and added light fixtures. Replaced toilet. Removed old linen closet and built a free standing large linen closet with drawers and clothes hamper. We also had an old marble fireplace that was renovated with Austin Stone and a granite mantel. He also added a TV over the tub. All walls were painted and all of the crown molding was painted a contrasting color. Sean did an excellent job painting. Rebuilt and redesigned Wooded Deck in Backyard. tore down old deck and replaced it with a trex. Increased the size of the deck and reworked the steps leading to the deck. Changed the step designed and it corrected a drainage problem that we have always had. Stabilized and reworked pavers around pool and deck area. Dave poured a concrete ledge around the pavers, that will keep them in place. It gave it an improved look and will help it stay stable Repainted and installed glass bookshelves in Living area, also repainted and textured and existing fireplace mantle in the same room Reworked duct work on our AC

+ 4 moreWe have had numerous experiences with contractors over the years since we have owned 4 differnet homes. Dave was excellent to work with. Not only was he honest and dependable, if he didn't have the expertise to do a job he always had someone he could recommend. I feel Dave treats your home like he was working on his own home. He takes pride in his work and he does it right.His pricing may be a bit highter than some other company but Dave is a man of his word and stands behind his work.
Description of Work: Dave Horpner, owner of Engineered Construction Solutions, was recommended to us by a coworker. We were buying an existing home that needed some remodeling work done. We had a limited time frame to get the work completed from the time the people who owned the house moved out and we moved in. Dave gave us a quote and promised he would have it all completed by our move in date. We had 5 bathroom counter tops removed and replaced with granite with new sinks. All of the bathrooms had wallpaper which we had Dave seal, texture and paint. Four of the five bathrooms had new lighting fixtures, mirrors & faucets changed out. The jack & jill bathroom tile was removed and replaced with a different tile with accent pieces. In addition, we had hardware put on all of the cabinets in all of the bathrooms. We had three bedrooms repainted. In our study, we had recessed lighting installed. In our garage we removed the existing attic ladder that was substandard and had an industrial ladder installed. Lastly, Dave power washed and sealed our outdoorkitchen area. Since the work was complete we discovered that one of the sinks installed in one of the bathrooms was cracked and was leaking. Dave was quick to come out and remove the old sink and install a new one with no charge to us.
