Awesome from start to finish. Their service started with with a "we'll schedule you for 3-5 today, but I will contact the techs to see if anyone can come sooner." They estimated 1 hour labor with $30 parts, and they were right. But their 1 hour would have been about 3 hours or more if I tried it. I'm impressed that they were able to locate the correct valve because the grass had grown over it.

Went really well, they showed up on time the next day even though it was a busy season (early summer). They had to leave to buy a part, but otherwise got the job done with minimal damage to the yard. They also assessed my system and provided a quote for future work.

The were prompt and courteous. Did everything I asked for and did not attempt to sell me anything I did not need. I felt the pricing was very reasonable.

Arrived on time. Was very efficient and quickly relocated the sprinkler head.

Repairs were made efficiently and for a reasonable price. Another problem was discovered but we're holding off on replacing that part (rain sensor isn't working right, so is now disconnected to make sure it doesn't stop the system from working).

Very pleased. The Company was professional, punctual, precise, polite and they had the best price. Highly recommend!

There was a problem in that I was supposed to have some unit installed that I didn't have. I didn't know I was supposed to have it. That cost quite a bit more than I had intended - but didn't have a choice. So the service was good but the expense was really high.

A for everything. If I were to buy a new home, I would use them again.

I discussed the entire installation with Steve (the owner) at length, and we agreed on a price for new sprinkler system installation and also new sod install over all the front lawn and most of the side yards. We agreed verbally on very specific items and confirmed some last details via emails. There were issues right from the start and throughout the installation. Here is my written review of my experience, but does not cover all the problems encountered which most were listed in other emails sent to Steve. I would not recommend Collin County Sprinkler company to anyone for installation services. They do have a good sprinkler repair technician whose name of Rueben, but they are extremely careless with sprinkler systems and Sod installations. Collin County Sprinkler installed both sprinklers and sod for us in April-2015, and I am still trying to get them to come back and fix the damage to my lawn that they caused. I have sent emails with pictures showing the damage and I have called the office, but the owner (Steve) has not called me since I paid for their “services”. During the installation process, they ignored explicit instructions I had given them and made numerous mistakes. First, when trenching, they cut through an underground 4-inch drain hose after I explicitly showed them where it was located and asked them to be careful. That drain hose is for the main rain gutter and now it backs up with any moderately heavy rain storm. Second, after trenching and then installing the sprinkler lines, they neglected to back fill the trenches properly and tamp down the soil, and now over one year later and none of my calls returned, I have already purchased almost 3000 pounds of dirt to fill the trenches that were improperly backfilled. Before I filled the trench lines you could clearly see where the pipe lines were installed, with sunken areas in the lawn up to 3 inches deep in many places all along the trench lanes. Third, I explicitly told the owner and crew leader to not place any sod behind the shed and I also to them to install sod up to the existing sod near the northwest area of my lawn and to leave some existing sod as is. Then I got a call from work and had to leave for about 3 hours during the installation process, and when I returned, I noticed that they had completely ignored me and actually installed new sod right over the top of existing sod. This has created a dam effect in my back yard and I only found out later that I have drainage problems that I never had before. When I asked why they had installed the sod over existing good sod, the crew leader said they do it all the time, and that it would be OK. A few days later when the sprinkler expert returned to check and test the sprinkler system install job, I told him I was concerned about the way the sod was installed, and I also asked again why the new sod had been placed over good sod and that I wanted it removed. He checked that area and advised that it was already rooting over the original sod and I should leave it as is to see if it caused any problems. With the first heavy rain about a week after the install, I noticed the entire west side of my yard severely flooded, up on the AC unit a few inches, and nearly to the weep holes in the house, and that is when I began trying to contact the owner to fix the issues. Over a year has passed now and I have sent several emails and have attached pictures of the problems and he still has not even called.

Technicians showed up on time and ready to work. Took them about an hour to locate and repair the leak and do the other work. Couldn't ask for anything more

Asked for an estimate for a system install online, they responded the next day and set up an appointment. I accepted the estimate, and they came out and layed out the system within 2 days. The disigner listened to all my concerns and made a couple of adjustments at my request. They showed up and completed the job on time, even though it rained pretty hard the first day and they had to quit early. Their lead technician came out the following day, as promised, set up the schedule on my controller, showed me how to program it and verified the system was working properly. He also answered all my question regarding the drip system that I am going to install myself on the stub outs they provided. The price quoted was the price charged, and I am very happy with the installation. One thing that caught my eye was the fact that they use a flexable connection from the hard line to the sprinkler head, and definite plus when dealing with the black clay in this area.

The technicians were very thorough, friendly and knowledgeable. Job was completed quickly and competently. Suggestions were made as to how to improve the system, which I okayed.

Jorge was great. He was on time and worked quickly. He managed to replace all the broken heads and adjust the other heads in an hour.

Outstanding. Appointment windows was 7:30 to 9:00. Brian called at 7:35 and let me know he'd be here soon. He and his co-worker arrived at 7:50. I spent time describing the issues and Brian listened very well. They worked for over 2 hours, making great progress. They resolved all my issues, even a new one that I didn't realize I had. A pipe without an endcap that was shooting water under my foundation (probably due to a cable company install or other related work that involved digging). Highest recommendation for CCS sprinkler.

Collin County Sprinkler was professional all through the process, right from the first call to the actual work being done. Picked up the phone on Tuesday, scheduled service for Thursday, kept the appointment, came and delivered. Absolutely great service. Price was reasonable.

Hired to replace broken head and adjust spray patterns. Unfortunately, they discovered a cracked line under my patio during service. (I hadn't run the sprinkler yet this season) They came back out the follow week and rerouted my lines around the patio. They did this in the rain within the scheduled time. They also ran a flexible line to an isolated planting (surrounded by concrete) without being asked to. I am more than satisfied with their work.

Justin Murphy put preliminary proposal of installing a sprinkler in my yard, under my door. I called him last Monday to set up an appointment with him to come to my home because I had some questions about the proposal. He set the appointment for today, April 8th, at 2:30pm. He did not come to my house and did not call. I do not do business with companies or people that do not honor commitments.

Called at 10 Am. Came out same day at 3PM. evaluated system. Replaced three sprinkler heads. cleaned others. Adjusted timing, replaced battery and advised on use. Very competent and professional. Reasonable price. Suggested changes. No pressure to upsell. Will definitely use again.

We moved into our house a few months ago and discovered that our sprinkler system had several heads that were broken, leaking or spraying the fence as much as the grass. Based on other reviews I saw on Angie's List, I called Collin County Sprinkler and they came out to take a look. In addition to the repairs, I also thought that the sprinkler coverage was not the best and floated the idea of adding a head or two here or there. Upon inspecting our system, Brian said he thought the system was actually in decent shape aside from needing five new heads, raising a couple low risers, and repairing the leak. Once he fixed the leak, it provided more pressure in the system and a few heads popped-up that I didn't realize were there to begin with. Brian advised that the while the coverage wasn't the best, he felt running the system a few minutes longer would help compensate. I agreed that it was worth trying this approach our first year in the house and then re-evaluate for next year. I appreciated the fact that Brian was very honest and didn't try to sell something that may not be necessary. Because of the great service we received, I'll call Collin County Sprinkler when we need work done again.

I realize this complaint is for work performed several years ago, but today we found out part of the reasons we were having so many problems with the work Steve performed. Steve gave us a written proposal w/ these two details below. 1. CCS will be using Netafim 12" x .9 gph drip line spaced approximately 12" on center in color areas and 18" on center in shrub and ground cover areas. 2. CCS will install a Rainbird 40 p.s.i. regulator with Y strainer on the existing valve controlling the front flower beds. He didn't use Netafim tubing and we've had trouble ever since as well as had to replace large sections of it. In anther repair performed today by a different company informed us we needed to install the Rainbird 40 PSI regulator at the valve controlling the front flower beds. I told them i was pretty sure we had that done. The went to that value and low and behold - no regulator. He never once responded to numerous calls and emails after we found out he didn't use the Netafim tubing. i have reached out to him on the regulator, but i suspect he will not man-up and take responsibility for that either. This man is a complete scam artist - stay as far away from his company as possible. Very disappointing!

Jorge arrived and after a brief description of the problems I was experiencing he went right to work testing the system. He and his team replaced a few sprinkler heads that were damaged and also repaired two breaks in the line. They took care to replace the sod they removed during the work and performed a final inspection of the system after the work was completed. The workers were very professional and took the time to show me the repairs before filling the holes.

Workers arrived by 8:30am and worked until about noon. The ground was muddy but they cleaned up the deck and sidewalks as best they could. Installed drip irrigation around entire foundation of house. No real complaints however they could not bury the lines in the flower beds. Said we needed to get mulch to cover them. They did however dig trenches and bury all other lines around the foundation. No real problems and would use them in the future for new service or repair.

On October 23, a Friday, we contacted Collin County Sprinkler to request a quote for the installation of a sprinkler system at our home. Steve responded stating that he can provide a quote that next Monday. We responded that we weren't available to meet until later that afternoon due to work schedules and asked if he was available after a certain time. We never heard from him again.

Our HOA needed repair work on the irrigation system, two known leaks and some sprinkler heads were damaged. The first call made reached a live person at Collin County Sprinkler and was able to set up a confirmed schedule with Tony. Tony arrived early, which was great, I provided maps of the controllers, valves, and known leak locations, and he went to work. Two and a half hours later he came back and had completed all of the work - making some creative repairs which saved us money, replaced the damaged components, and double checked the system. The whole system is back up and running. Excellent service and skill.
