These guys are awesome. We hired them primarily as a result of their Angie's list rating and we were not disappointed. Not only did they use first rate materials, exhibit excellent workmanship, show up on time and do an excellent construction job, they went above and beyond; they cleaned up the property after the job was completed and subsequently returned to inquire if we were satisfied with the fence asking if there was anything else we required. Furthermore, when given a rather unique task reagrding a specific type of gate closure that I requested, owner Dave Phillips went way out of his way to research, locate and install exactly what I was hoping for. Cedar Creek Fence Co. has my highest recommendation.

Dave Phillips is clearly enthusiatic about his work and his company. Very professional and knowledgeable. He came out to my house, met with me to discuss my needs, measured, and gave me free estimate. His price seemed a little high, but he uses all the best materials and outstanding employees to do the work. He explained all of the materials his company uses his and why they are better quality and built to last. I knew he would do great work-- throughout the whole process he was very responsive and clearly interested in the satisfying the customer. The fence looks great. No issues. It was just a small fence- only one side of my yard, but Dave valued the opportunity to have my business. I would definitely use Dave's company again for fencing needs!

He seemed very knowledgeable. He took the time to walk the area with me and really go in detail about the materials to be used and how it's going to be done and everything. He didn't hurry. He even came at my house two to three times just so I could have all my questions answered. He may be a little a bit pricier than a couple of the other ones I got but I just felt like he knew what he was doing and I felt more comfortable with him.

We decided to replace our backyard fence this summer, the existing fence was six foot, wooden posts, the new one being eight foot with metal posts; in preparation we received three estimates. Out of the three, all fence companies were well represented, they were nice, professional and the estimates were competitive; when the decision was made, we felt the most comfortable with Cedar Creek Fence and Dave. Our backyard is a bit on the larger size and the fence was torn down and replaced in very quick fashion, a matter of days and actually finished prior to the estimated completion date which was a plus. The team that worked on our project worked extremely well together and when it came down to the trim work, they are in our opinion Master Craftsmen. Our entrance is trimmed out like a nice piece of furniture, we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. We are waiting to stain once the wood has had approximately a month to cure and when complete, no doubt it will look even more fantastic. Our fence will no doubt withstand the test of time and down the road, when a fencing need presents itself, we'll use Cedar Creek again. Thanks, Terri

Dave Phillips and his Cedar Creek Fence crew built our family a beautiful and sturdy fence this past spring, one that included an electric gate and three walk through gates. Dave was straightforward and open about all costs and procedures. His work crew was very professional and the guys were friendly and polite. The work was done in a timely manner, despite a few days of stormy weather. When it came time to apply the stain, it turned out just right. Neighbors have told us how nice the fence looks, as have friends who have come over for a look. Dave is always available to answer phone calls and e-mails, and even sent his team back to our house after the job was complete to fix an issue with our irrigation system. Just wanted to make public what I have already told Dave in private--his company did a great job and we are a very appreciative Frisco family.

Talked with, and got bids from, four different fencing companies. Dave from Cedar Creek was not the cheapest, but he did take the time to explain exactly what would go into the building of the fence, why it was important and exactly what I could expect. They use top of the line materials, from the cement and posts to the rails and boards. Dave warned me they were already booked 4 weeks out when I talked with him in late April. That was the only issue... they were very busy and we kept getting storms which pushed the start date back further. BUT, it was totally worth the wait. The crew did a fantastic job, the fence looks great and I couldn't be happier. We had LOTS of vegetation around the fence and they even were able to take the old fence out and get the new one in with very minimal vegetation damage. All around great job.

I had several estimates for replacing the existing fence, some through Angie's List and some from other referrals. I must say I was extremely impressed with David from Cedar Creek Fences. He took the time to educate me on fences. I told him what I wanted and he explained in detail all my options. I received an estimate explaining the types of materials that would be used and even the depths of the posts, type of concrete and type of fasteners. I had my choice for the wood and style of fence. I was given the cost up front for each type, allowing me to choose my options. I had so many questions and situations arise through the process. He answered each question thoroughly. David was very responsive to my needs and made me feel confident in him and his crew. As far as the other companies I requested estimates from, they only spent 15 minutes or less on my property and handed me a proposal. Not very good customer service when you are investing this kind of money into a project. His crew was awesome. They worked very hard each day and kept me posted on their progress. They kept my yard as neat as possible. They cleaned up everything on the last day and left nothing behind. The fence.......It's awesome!!! It is sturdy and very private. We had the top cap placed which really finished off the look. David will also be staining the fence as well. Will definitely be recommending him my friends and neighbors. Very impressed. The storms in May blew down our existing fence. I called Cedar Creek Fences and spoke with Dave and gave a quote right away. Within a week the new fence was installed! Dave's foreman Pablo and work crew from Cedar Fences did an outstanding job installing the new fence and I am very pleased with the new fence!

Everything from start to finish was wonderful. Work was very detailed and perfect. No complaints. Would highly recommend.

We requested proposals from four reputable companies for our new fence. All visited the property and provided proposals for the fence replacement and new fencing. Two of the companies, including Cedar Creek, proposed options for obtaining excellent results in the finished product at the most resonable costs. Both companies were viable choices until the final decision. The difference was the personal confidence that Dave Phillips, Cedar Creek's owner, displayed in getting the job done to our highest expectations. His assurances and consistent communications convinced us that Cedar Creek was the best choice. The project was started on schedule and completed on schedule. The crew was amazing in their systematic and professional approach to their job. The on-the-job communication was excellent which allowed slight modifications to occur without incident or added costs. The completed fences were much better than we could have imagined and comments from some of ouir neighbors were very positive. One of the hazards of adding a new fence is potential damage to existing sprinkler systems. One of the new post holes did hit a sprinkler water line. When the crew noticed the damage, they immediately informed us and made arrangements to repair the damage. Two months later when we were having the annual maintenance on the sprinkler system, it was detected that other non-visible pipe damage had occurred in the new fence area. Since the sprinkler company was already onsite, we made the decision to have them make the needed repairs, instead of having Cedar Creek arrange from the repairs. Obviously we incurred cost from this decision and we informed Dave Phillips of our finding. He immediately offered to compensate us for the broken lines and although we felt the choice was ours to have the sprinkler company do the repairs, we accepted his offer. We would and have highly recommended Cedar Creek Fence to others and feel that we received far more that the cost we paid.

Dave(owner) came out to do a bid, gave a full explanation with photos of what he would do and his team then performed the work. The quality is very good and I believe this fence will be around a lot longer than i will.

When the representative came to look at the project and give an estimate, we also got a consultation. That means that each step was described in detail and the alternatives discussed as well, and reasons were given with the pluses and cons of each alternative. We were given the chance to give input and make many of the decisions. When they came to remove the old fence and put up the new one, the team worked together very smoothly and worked fast. While putting the new fence up they worked with a guide line and levels in their hands most of the time. The work went as had been described in the estimate and initial consultation. About a week after the fence was finished we had a hard rain and the back gate could not be closed. I called them about this and a few days later a team showed up and dismantled part of the fence and rebuilt a small section to correct the problem caused by expanding wood, they did it correctly and did not do just a quick patch job. I have had several people comment on our fence since. It is impressive. I would most definitely recommend Cedar Creek Fences to anyone who needs a new or replacement fence built.

We are very pleased with the work that Cedar Creek Fences performed. I called Dave when we were thinking about replacing the fence. He was very patient and explained all the details about the standard of the service they provide. I called three contractors to come to take the measurements and give an estimate, and Dave was the only one that spent time to measure the slope between the house wall and the alley to give the most accurate height information at different sections of the fence. Their specifications on the material and workmanship are top-notch. Their crew led by Pablo did a great job on installing the fence and crafting a custom gate based on a picture we provided. Dave and his crew kept good communication throughout the project. If you want to install a fence with good quality, I highly recommend Cedar Creek Fences.

I found this company on Angies List. He came out & gave me an estimate & explained the product & services. I thought he was a very nice man but went with someone else. I would call again for an extimate if I needed to.

From day one the build went without a hitch. The builders worked extremely hard to make sure the fence was completed as quickly as possible without comprimising the quality of work. They were very attentive to specific needs that we required and if there was a question about anything they were sure to get an answer before proceeding with the fence. The staining crew did a great job with covering up our landscaping and pool to protect them from the stain. All in all a job very well done.

Dave is a top professional and is great at his job. He is extremely responsive and does an excellent job at explaining the materials he uses and the job that will be done. He took time out on a Sunday to come talk to us initially about the project. After our initial meeting, I must have asked him 100 questions via email. He quickly and thoroughly answered all of them. I was very reassured going into the project that I picked the right company. The prices are not the cheapest you will find, BUT the quality of the finished product is top-notch. Dave explained to us the benefits of the components/methods his company uses. No corners are cut anywhere. 1st class brackets, metal poles, concrete, and boards are used. Post holes really are dug a full 3' into the ground (I personally watched his workers dig and saw the bit they used for digging). Dave's fence crew was great! Pablo (team lead) was very personable and professional. Upon Dave and Pablo's advice, we went with top leveling (where the bottom of the fence matches the slope of our yard). So on the alley side, the fence is a little over 8'. The fence then gradually tapers down to just under 7' right by the house. The top is exactly level all the way around. It looks fantastic! We've already had numerous compliments from family/friends (as well as complete strangers who happened to drive by and notice the fence). I did notice that a few of the boards had "eye" holes in them. I made Dave aware of this and he had the problem boards replaced within a week (no extra charge). So I feel very comfortable with him honoring his stated 10 year warranty. He really seems to stand behind his product. If you choose another company based solely on price, you can probably "save" some money up front. However, you will likely end-up paying more later when the lesser-quality workmanship and materials start to become evident. I am extremely confident our fence will be standing strong 10-15 years down the road. I highly recommend Cedar Creek Fences!

If you want an amazing fence and seeking a reputable fence company, this is it! Cedar Creek Fences. We did our research, called several companies and obtained several quotes. Cedar Creek Fences quote was fair and very comparable to the others. Although we had a lower quote, Dave, the owner, won us over with his knowledge, presentation and how personable he was. He actually brought out some of the supplies he would be using to show us the quality and explained in detail the difference in materials and went over his quote with me and my husband. We knew we were going to get quality and that was worth going with the best all-around quote, not just the dollars! They not only did amazing work, but each day we arrived shocked how much progress was made. They always cleaned up everything, you didn’t even know someone has been doing work there other than the amazing brand new fence beaming. We requesting the fence be extended and they were able to accommodate all our requests. Even once the job was done and we realized we estimated the pool enclosure incorrectly, they came back out and added an additional section for us to be sure that we were happy. I couldn’t decide on stain, I’m very visual, so Dave provided some addresses to view his work and see the various stains in person on a larger scale. This helped with our decision and then we were even more excited with seeing the amazing quality up close and in person. I would have to remember we were there to see the stain color not awe at the fence. I couldn’t wait to have that in my yard!! The above and beyond service was exceptional and so appreciated. You don’t get honest and quality companies everywhere anymore, was nice to have found it with Dave at Cedar Creek Fences. We have had nothing but rave reviews and compliments from neighbors and our friends/family. Dave showed us pictures which were exquisite however they pale in comparison to the final product. I know we chose the right company and couldn’t be happier with the end result. Dave came out himself to inspect the work and be sure we were happy before collecting final payment. Over all, would definitely recommend Cedar Creek Fences!!!

His crew was courteous and efficient. They announced their arrival, checked in with us prior to departing and left the work area clean and neat. The style and composition of the fence was first class and I have been spreading the work of Cedar Creek Fences to many of our neighbors. You never notice when you need something you notice them more. We have been taking notice on LOTS of fences since our need arose and there are many fence companies available. Be sure to contact Dave and get an estimate. I would be surprised if he did not win your business. I was sold and am already planning on having the rest of the fence replaced to match the new part! Dave's communication was very good. He contacted us when he was delayed due to additional rain and kept us informed during the entire process. Very pleased with our choice!

Overall it was a painless process for me, because they were here daily, on time, until the project was completed. Plus I did not have to repeatedly contact them to take care of open ended items. I will call Dave when I need any repairs or restaining done to the fence...I love the fence and my gates, and a big plus for me is the gates no longer drag on the ground and the handles are substantial. I would encourage anyone needing fence repairs or rebuild to call Dave Phillips.

The entire process from start to finish was excellent. From the day Dave came to meet with us we felt comfortable and at ease. His approach to detail without making us feel like we are under pressure was a great relief. From the day we signed on with Cedar Creek Fences and throughout the entire process, they kept us in constant contact. We never had to wonder what was going on or where they were. While constructing our fence, they kept the our home and yard clean and organized. I've passed by neighbors geting fences intalled and it looked like a war zone with debris, materials, and equipment. We were pleased everyday they came and how they left our property at the end of each day. After the job was complete, Dave made arrangements to meet with us to walk the fence and make sure everything was perfect...which it was. We've had work done on our house throughout the years and it always seemed like the second they were done with project, someone was at our door with their had out wanting their money. Nevermind how we liked the project, it was all about the money. We never felt like with Dave or Cedar Creek. They were more concerned about our satisefaction and the money came later once they new were were happy. Anyone interested in a new fence must give Cedar Creek Fences an opportunity and I guarantee will thank yourself later.

For the most part it was great. Dave was very professional and gave us a good price. The fence looks great...in fact, we are on the corner of our development and our neighbor said we had the nicest looking fence around.

I received quotes from three companies and Cedar Creek was very competitive and actually for the work I requested was the lowest price. Dave and his staff are very professional. Discussed all alternatives, positives and negatives etc before starting the work. All expenses were explained in detail and I probably beat him to death with questions. Work was started on time and the existing fence was demo'd and hauled away, the new steel posts set the first day which was impressive since my neighbor and I were the same job since we shared part of the fence, and there was a storm front approaching. Had a rain delay of one day but that was known and expected. The fence was completed on the third working day, both mine and the neighbors' on schedule and on budget. Dave sent me an email with a scheduled day for staining in the estimated 2.5 weeks. The company called me the day before and they showed up per the schedule and completed the job. The communication, quality of materials, work and workmanship is excellent and I would highly recommend that Cedar Creek be given an opportunity to compete in any job.

The service provided by Dave Phillips was great! He contacted me immediately when I requested a quote. It is great when you hear from the owner directly. He met with us in person to explain the process, quality of materials, and answer all of our questions. It took 3 days to take down our old fence and install the new fence..and that was with a rain delay! Our new fence is absolutely beautiful, and I never thought that I would describe a fence that way! I would definitely use Dave Phillips and Cedar Creek Fences for our next project.
