I helped my son with this project by researching fencing companies with high scores and stellar reviews on Angie's List. He called three companies, two of which had "we"ll get back with you" messages. The owner of Cedar Creek Fences, Dave, answered his phone immediately and took the time to explain the options and cost of installation. My son was very impressed with Dave's professionalism and prompt response with a reasonable quote. The crew did a high quality job and the fence looks fantastic. My son will certainly give Dave a call should the wind attack the old fence on the north side of his yard.

The service couldn't have been better and the finished product was absolutely amazing. We love our new fence and our dogs love the doggie window! Dave is extremely professional and came out to give us an estimate almost immediately after we called. The crew that came to do the work was very friendly and did the work in a very timely manner. We are very happy with everything and would recommend them to anyone.

They came out and gave us an estimate for the work we needed. We live in the country and did not want a fence that obstructed our view. They were not the least expensive but Dave was so professional, walked us through every detail, and within a day (due to weather) of his start date, they began the work. They completed it in three days. They were very accommodating to a few latch changes we needed since the fence separates our backyard from our pasture. Originally I wanted an aluminum fence because of the non-corrosive quality of aluminum. I talked with Dave at great length and decided on an iron fence. The house I moved into 1.5 years ago had no fence and backed up to a large heavily wooded creek with running water all year. As a result there are many wild animals back there including bobcats and coyotes. My toy poodle was attacked and almost killed so I put up temporary electric fence. My main focus was protecting my dogs so I decided on a 6 ft iron fence with pressed points. I went back and forth with Dave on the design to try to cut the price. He was extremely patient with me and came out to the house a couple of times to talk about it. He has been very responsive unlike other contractors I have called about various home improvement projects. The fence is due to be installed in a week. I would highly recommend Dave as he is a pleasure to work with.

Dave Phillips, the owner, came out to my house personally to evaluate the project and provide an estimate. He went over all of the materials involved in the process, and assured me that his materials were industry-standard or better. He stayed in contact with me every step of the way and was nothing but professional. His crew showed up on time, made no excuses, and met or exceeded our expectations across the board. The clean-up was excellent. I didn't even have to sweep the yard afterward. His quote wasn't the least expensive of everyone we considered for this project, but we absolutely got what we paid for, especially because I had a couple of extra requests that he didn't even charge me for. These guys definitely went above and beyond!

Dave is he person I shall call for any and all fencing repairs, staining etc. But with his 10 year warranty I doubt that I will need to. The quality of his work is outstanding. He communicated the work schedule for building the fence as well as the staining and kept me informed of any changes. In summary, a "Top Notch" contractor that is honest, friendly and highly professional.

When I called contractors for quotes, one popular fence contractor took two weeks to return my calls, and another never even returned my calls. Dave Phillips, the owner, returned my call promptly, and made a timely appointment to discuss the job. His quote was competitive with other contractors and with my experience. His quote was complete, and the scope of work and materials were diligently explained. I checked out some of his installations in the neighborhood and was impressed with the quality of his work. I contracted him, and set a date for the installation. His installers showed up at the time and date promised. His foreman called on me the day before to review his work, and to make sure I understood what was to be done. Demolition was performed without any damage to my pool, my shrubbery, or pool equipment. Cleanup was exceptional. Dave and the foreman kept in contact with me with any questions he or I had - communication was excellent. One of my most serious concerns was with the staining of the fence. The last time I had a fence installed, stain droplets got on my furniture, and house walls, but most seriously, into my pool. I had just had the pool refinished, and didn't want to have my new tile and surfaces spotted. Dave assured me that he subcontracted to the best stainers, and I shouldn't worry. He was true to his promise - the staining job was impeccable. There are always a few minor things that need to be addressed after a job this size, and anything I needed fixed or changed after the job was completed, Dave bent over backwards to make sure I was pleased. After the fence went up, I had several neighbors ask for my recommendations, because they were very impressed with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the installation crew. I highly recommend Ceder Creek Fences. Their price, quality, responsiveness, and professionalism was exceptional.

We got several bids but decided to go with Cedar Creek (even though we had some bids for lower prices) because of the attention to detail Dave put into the bid and his thoroughness. He pointed out several complexities about the job that the others had not even mentioned. While the work was being done the team was timely and personable, and the the issues that arose were dealt with promtly and in a professional manner. Dave was always very responsive to questions and provided many good options for our questions about gate styles, etc. We are very satisfied with our beautiful fence and would definitely choose to use Cedar Creek again.

Wonderfully! The fence is beautiful and very well-made. The gate is solid and works really well. Dave was very attentive at all phases and kept us updated throughout the entire process. His crew was there exactly when he said they would be. They cleaned up the work zone and didn't leave debris laying around. They completed the job within 2 days (we had a lot of fence!). They were very neat with the stain too -- the crew was very careful to protect our driveway so that it wouldn't be "stained"!

Dave was very professional and detailed when we met to discuss the cost for the new fence. His price was in line with several other estimates I received and he explained the process and materials to be used. He also provided addresses of other customers so I could drive around and see fences he had installed and to help choose the stain color. I chose the side by side with metal posts and a moisture board along the bottom to prevent ground moisture from getting into the fence pickets. The crew arrived on time and removed and carted away the materials from the old fence and set up the metal posts. The next day the crew returned and finished the installation of the pickets, moisture board, cap and gate. They were very professional and cleaned up all debris. They also had me turn on the sprinkler system to ensure there was no issues. The stain crew came about 2 weeks later and completed the staining in one day. The color is beautiful and I am very pleased with the new fence. While I chose a standard fence the ones I looked at when I was driving around were all really well done and the more ornate ones were really beautiful. Dave called several times throughout the process to ensure everything was going well and that I was pleased with the progress and he called after the staining was completed to ensure I was happy with the final results. I would highly recommend Dave Phillips Cedar Creek Fence for a beautiful, quality fence from a company that really puts the customer first.

I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for a high quality fence, professional and prompt service, as well as a true commitment to quality and the customer! Dave was extremely polite, friendly, down-to-earth, easy to work with, and very accomodating. His crew did an amazing job! We are so impressed with his professionalism and dedication to quality work. In fact, recently (over a year since the fence went up) a strong gust of wind slammed our gate shut and cracked a board that is in place to catch the gate when it shuts. I emailed Dave and told him about the problem and he advised that that particular piece wasn't actually covered under the warranty, but he went ahead and had someone come out and replace the broken board with a thicker, stronger board! I didn't even ask him to, he offered it! It is obvious that Dave cares more about customer satisfaction and quality work than making a few dollars. I am especially concerned about this because a few months back we had granite counter tops installed and the contractor we hired did a horrible job, and their workmanship was so poor one of the slabs cracked in half and that contractor refused to even come out and look at the problem! He told us it was something "we must have done" and that it's not covered under warranty. So it was very refreshing to be treated so well and honestly by Dave. I hope this review helps anyone looking for a fence. I feel it necessary to spend time writing this review as part of my expression of thanks and appreciation.

My experience with Cedar Creek Fences overall was great. All the companies that gave me estimates agreed that my project was considered fairly complex because my property is on a hill and needed a retaining wall on three sides in addition to the fence. I went for the full enchilada ? 8 foot board on board, clear cedar pickets, top cap, wrapped poles, and custom gate in addition to the retaining wall. The job turned out beautifully. To be fair, there were some bumps along the way as there are with any major construction project but Dave handled those bumps professionally and in a timely manner. Pablo (the crew lead) was very professional and came up with some incredibly inventive solutions to a couple of tricky issues we came across during the job. I was totally impressed. Would I recommend Cedar Creek Fences? ? Absolutely! One important note though, as regular Joe homeowners, we did not fully grasp the level of construction that occurs during a fence replacement. We still had the original contractor?s fence from 1986 and it had been patched over and over again and had to be completely removed and replaced. Cedar Creek Fences did an outstanding job and during the process we learned what major construction is all about. There are always bumps along the way (which is normal) and Dave, Pablo, and the whole crew did an outstanding job through the entire process. ~Jeff Rollins

From the moment we met Dave, the owner of Cedar Creek Fences, we knew we had met a top class contractor. He took the time to explain every intricate detail of their process right down to grades of cement and the metal posts. When his crew came out, the foreman Pablo, reviewed with us what had been discussed with Dave and everything got off and running without missing a beat. We did have a last minute addition to the construction plan as the grading on our property was more severe in one area than we originally thought. Dave and Pablo, and the rest of the team, took this in stride and still managed to complete the job in 3 days. The quality of hardware used was top notch, and the clear cedar was immaculate; absolutely worth the little bit extra for the higher quality. Our neighbors have become envious of this beautiful new fence. Overall, we couldn't be happier. Staining the fence is all that we have left to complete the process. We would highly, highly recommend the Cedar Creek team for any fence construction or reconstruction service you may need.
