Cedar Creek Fences

I got numerous estimates from a variety of companies both on Angie's List and companies I found through Google. I was originally getting quotes for just basic 8 foot, board on board, fences. Dave came out and his quote was the least expensive by a good margin. It was after I got such a good quote on the basic fence, that I decided to upgrade with some of the fancy upgrades like the boxed in fence posts, and top cap. I'm very glad I did, despite the fact that it increased the overall price of the fence, my fence is the envy of all who see it. It's absolutely beautiful, and I have never seen any other fence quite like it. In no way did Dave try to up-sell me on the fence, he was incredibly low pressure. In fact, from when I got the original quote, I waited two months before giving him a call and telling him he won my business, as I was trying to save up a bit more cash before proceeding with the purchase. When he came out to give me the free estimate, he spent over an hour with me just going through every little detail. He was incredibly in-depth and helpful. He is a class-act. But it didn't stop there. He was incredibly communicative throughout the entire fence-building process, and any question I had he responded to within a few hours, sometimes replying to late night questions that I had in the early hour mornings! I couldn't be happier with the entire process and the finished product of the fence.

I interviewed 5 major fence installers. I chose Cedar Creek Fences because Dave (the owner) was very responsive and spent a lot of time answering my questions. He's one of the only service contractors I've hired who texted or called to let me know if he was running behind. Usually, they just no show or leave me waiting a long time. He was also very competitively priced. Pablo and his crew were professional and build the fence efficiently. We love the look of the steps in the fence (because my yard slopes). Dave upgrade me to stainless steel nails for next to nothing and removed the old buried concrete posts for a small charge. They used a lot of support rails and closely space galvanized posts so the fence is strong.

Dave and Team did a fantastic job! His foreman Luis and crew (2-3 guys for my job) were experienced, respectful, punctual and quick! It only took me observing a few challenging design decisions and I knew I was in good hands with Luis. The posts were straight as an arrow, I watched more out of vicarious interest than feeling the need to oversee. Truly, watching them work was fascinating. I've looked at a lot of fences in the neighborhood and their prices are competitive for the result and craftsmanship produced. I wouldn't hesitate again to call them. Thanks Dave! Thanks Luis! I researched through several websites and review sites for fencing contractors. Anyone with a lower warranty or lower than excellent review rating was removed from my search. I came up with three of whom all submitted bids on my project. Cedar Creek was on of two that actually came out and walked my property to ensure accuracy on my bid, answer questions I had on materials used, etc. My lowest bid was Cedar Creek. Since I had no reservations after our meeting I selected them and the job started a few weeks later. I will add that during this three-week wait, Dave (the owner) provided updates on when installation would start due to weather conditions slowing down his progress. This was a great help for us to plan for his crews to be here. When the job started his crew came to the door, let us know they were there and started the tear down of our fence. Oddly enough we hardly even heard them the entire day this was done and the new posts were installed. Another point is that when the rains came on day two, the crews didn't leave. They sat in their vehicle and waited for the rain to stop so they could instantly continue the work. The job, that normally would have run 2-3 days, ran three days only because of their dedication to getting the job completed as soon as possible. Dave kept in contact during the installation and did a final walk-through with me after the job was completed. I went from an old 6ft fence to a beautiful 8ft BOB fence that outshines everything next to it. We added the archways for very little which adds a nice differentiator from other fences in the area. Overall we got great service, the best price for the same top-quality product as others, and a fence that'll last longer than we'll probably even live in the house. I can't recommend these folks enough.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Dave and his crew at Cedar Creek Fences. This was a large purchase for me and I had many, many questions. Dave was so patient, explained every detail, and came by multiple times to ensure we were both on the same page. He was very professional when neighbors came out the day of installation to ensure the correct property line was being established. The fence is BEAUTIFUL and is a work of art. It is solid and of great quality. I am the envy of the neighborhood. Several neighbors have asked for their cards. If anything changed, Dave made me aware right away so there would be no surprises. Dave was very responsive to emails and texts. It couldn't have gone any better! Highly recommend!!!

Dave came out a few years ago to give us a quote, and when we finally decided to have the work done, we called him out for another quote. He was very helpful and gave us what we felt was a good price. A few weeks later his guys were out putting up the fence. His crew was efficient and very well-mannered. They did a thorough job of cleaning up when they were done. About a month later the stain was applied. The fence itself is well-built and beautiful. It should hold up for many years, and I have confidence that should we have any problems, Dave is more than willing to help. The electric sliding gate works as it should. If I had to do it over, I definitely would give Cedar Creek Fences a call again!

Dave Phillips with Cedar Creek Fence did an excellent job of replacing my existing fence with an 8' privacy fence. Dave surveyed the job, made recommendations and provided great communication through out the install process. The crew was professional and on completed the project on time. The owner, Dave Phillips, personally came out and spoke to me at my home. He walked the fence line with me and discussed what he could do. I felt like he was courteous and educated. He gave me a bid that at first seemed a bit high but as I investigated further I found this not to be the case; especially when I considered the quality of his finish out, and his materials vs competitors. He seemed to know more than the other contractors who came out to bid on the fence, and he definitely was looking out for me. He explained how I needed new posts to really make the fence something that would last and look good for years to come. After his initial bid he followed up with me personally contacting me by phone. None of his competitors did this. I liked that Dave demonstrated various ways he could structure his fence building, he truly was the only fence company that worked with me to meet my needs. When I called him or emailed him he responded that day and I feel like being responsive is important, especially during a big home improvement project like a new fence. Needless to say the fence is a work of art. The stain we chose is a beautiful Western Red and really compliments our pool. Ask yourself: do you want the Cadillac of fences or the KIA? The price difference isn't much but the results are something you'll have to live with for years to come. I chose the Caddy and I'm proud of it!

Dave came out and was very professional. Gave clear details of pricing and step by step the process of what would happen. Upon agreeing to begin he brought out and introduced me to his crew led by Pablo. Pablo was excellent and most of his crew are artist and take there time and make sure it looks right to them as well as the customer. I am one of those customers that are in the way and watching every detail, and they did not let it bother them one bit. At no time did I feel like I was not in control. Even though they were the experts. I like that alot!! The final outcome was gorgeous and added a visual presence to the neighborhood that brings positive comments every time I see my neighbors. They worked very quickly and deliberately and got the job done so fast. I will call Dave and Cedar Creek Fencing for all my woodworking or fencing needs. FYI: if you can get Pablo as your crew manager, do it as he was awesome.

We would highly recommend Cedar Creek Fencing. We met with 3-4 other fencing businesses over the past year before we chose to go with Cedar Creek. We were very happy with the final fence and had no concerning issues throughout the process. Upon considering their services, we met with a representative and received an on the spot quote. If you are considering coordinating the same fence with neighbors, Cedar can give an approximate quote to neighbors without having to go to each home. The representative went over our options thoroughly when considering the price and also offered alternatives where possible. He seemed to understand our needs well and offered a fair quote for what we felt would be quality work. The builders worked through the rain and wind to get our fence up within a few days and when we noticed a cracked slat a week after the job was done, not only did they come to evaluate and replace it, but they thoroughly inspected the whole fence again and found a few more that should be replaced. At some point we had a miscommunication about where the fence would start and end, but it was resolved quickly without hassle. The final product had nice detail and exceeded our expectations. The color of the staining was beautiful and looked as was expected. Cedar Creek fencing does quality work and we are thrilled with our new fence.

I chose Cedar Creek Fences based on the looks of other fences in my neighborhood that they built and based on the reports I saw on Angies List. Owner, Dave Phillips, was very professional and did not try to pressure me into his product or recommendations for upgrading. Although there were some delays during installation due to bad weather, Dave kept me updated on schedule. The workers are true craftsmen. Staining was done this weekend, and I have the most BEAUTIFUL fence in the neighborhood.

Came out and gave me a quote for a fencing job. Very nice guy. We ended up going with a motorcycle buddy of ours, but I would recommend them to other people.

Everything was done on time and at the original cost estimate. Easy to deal with and knowledgeable about soil, etc. Very happy.

Very good about keeping us informed of the scheduled work. We had some weather delays and they always let us know. Crew was friendly, and communicated well about what they were doing and what the entire procedure involved. After the work was completed, there was nothing to show that they had been there except the new fence.

I liked it once they get started on work. The workers were really good. They made sure the property was cleaned up each day after they were done. They didn't leave the place a mess.

He kept me informed of all steps of the job and took the time to explain each step in detail. His crew did a first rate job on our fence and we are extremely pleased with the final product. Dave showed up at the agreed time and evaluated the project. He described the options and provided an estimate. I haven't done the project yet because I need to discuss with the neighbors and get HOA approval. I will probably use him once I know exactly what the neighbor wants to do.

Provider was very punctual and professional. He gave me a very detailed bid and explained all his process. I spoke and texted with provider several times after the bid for follow up questions and adjusted bids for different materials. Each time he was prompt and professional with his replies. I, in the end, did not use the provider but may in the future if I need fence services again. I cannot say one bad thing about dealing with him. Very professional and really cares about the customer and how he conducts his business. Also, he was very competive on price as well. You can use him with good confidence.

Overall ... FANTASTIC experience! This was a big job and I called 4 different Angie's List contractors and they all came out and gave bids. They were all about the same price but Cedar Creek Fence was hands down the most thorough, knowledgable and genuinely cared about the project and our needs. We had a row of trees in the back that we really wanted to keep and every other contractor eyeballed it and said that we would have to cut them all down to put the driveway gate in. Dave Phillips came out and listened to our concerns, carefully measured, and said we could keep our trees. He sat down with my wife and I (who are VERY particular about quality) and went through every detail of the job, the timeline, and the materials used. We awarded the job instantly. We scheduled the work for several weeks out and the crew came out on time and worked diligently throughout the project. They cleaned up at the end of each day and were meticulous with the build. The end product was an absolute gorgeous fence that made our backyard look beautiful. We have had strangers and neighbors come by and ask who built our fence. Cedar Creek Fence and Dave Phillips are top notch and stand behind their work. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone! It's good to know that there are still companies out there who have such integrity and quality work.
