Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Dave was super nice, easy to talk to, took my suggestions, gave me better ones and definitely knew his stuff. His workers were friendly, professional, and EXTREMELY hard-working and talented!! They did an excellent job!!!

Did not hire Cedar Creek, but was very impressed with their proposal and communications. Mr. Phillips arrived on time to see my fence and develop his ideas on replacing it. He was very professional. The estimate was very competitive, and it was very difficult to choose between Cedar Creek and another company. In the end, my decision was swayed to a company that would do the final staining themselves, rather than subcontracting. I have no doubt that Cedar Creek's quality of work would be excellent, and I will consider them again when the need arises.

AMAZING! We had over 225 feet of fence replaced. We have several bids based off of fences companies that people in our neighborhood had used. We loved the look of the Cedar Creek Fence and were thrilled when their bid came in. It was a bit more (honestly not that much more) but what you get is SO WORTH IT. It is the little details that they are so good at, look at other companies top cap and trim and the size and style of bracket that is used to secure the fence to the post. They worked hard and were very professional the entire time. They do use another company for the stain but we have zero issues with them. Because of rain and wind we had to move our time back a week. (But having done staining before that is very common). They took care of the stain while I was at work and it was fantastic. I wish I had more opportunities to use Ceder Creek Fence as Dave and his company were OUTSTANDING. You will not regret going with this company.

Let me give a long review with enough detail for you to glean your own understanding of how our project went. Specifically because when you use Cedar Creek Fences, if you are having stain put on it as well, you are using 2 vendors, not one. We have a side fence that is a little over 100 ft in total length.... we share that fence with 2 neighbors because there are 2 lots against that side of our property. We all read reviews together and agreed to call Cedar Creek. I was in charge of setting everything up and getting the money together, etc.. I always spoke with Dave and he was very professional and helpful from the start. He quickly got us an estimate, adjusted it for us a couple of times when we wanted some different options and when we decided to move forward he was quick to get us on the schedule. His crew arrived promptly on the scheduled date, they were courteous and fast. They did a great job installing the fence and it looks amazing. Also, they were very careful to keep our property neat and leave it like they found it. Just know that they do sublet the fence staining to another company. This is a review of the entire experience so it is important to include this part. I won't say the name since this isn't a review just on them. The trouble started when I called them to inquire about adding some services restaining a hail damaged fence and patio cover. The girl I usually talked to there was very nice, but they do most of their estimates using google earth rather than coming out to the property so it took several back and forth phone calls, plus me measuring and adding up the square footage, before we were able to get an accurate bid. I was happy with the price, however, so I asked them to add those services when coming to do the new fence. We had some delays due to rain, no big deal, then we got a schedule emailed to us showing the upcoming month and all the customers that were getting fences cleaned and fences stained. I noticed we weren't on for a cleaning so I called up, left a message. Then sent an email, then called and left a message. Finally I get her when I call the next time and she says she will put us on for cleaning the coming Monday, staining was already set for the Friday after so that would work. Monday.. no show. I called Monday evening. Tuesday they come and clean the wood... However, it looked like it had just gotten wet... all original stain still on the wood. I called and got in touch with a higher up there and he says they typically just clean with a pump sprayer and some bleach to alleviate mold, etc... I explained I asked for a hail damaged area to be cleaned off and restained and he says they don't do pressure washing.. they sublet it to another vendor and at additional cost! Finally he goes out to my property and looks at what I have and says they can't do it anyways because the stain I have on my wood already is really good and probably won't come off very well so it wouldn't look good. Fine, just do the new fence as we discussed in the original bid, leave the rest for me to do later. Incidently the next day I hit a couple spots with a pressure washer and it cleaned off the old stain very nicely. It's not that hard. I also asked that they do a portion of the fence ( a section that continues into the front yard and meets another neighbors fence) a darker color than the rest so that it would match the abutting fence on that side and I was told that was too much trouble because they'd have to clean the equipment twice because of the 2 colors so he would leave me a gallon of stain so I could finish that portion myself. Thanks. Then came staining day. I understand when you are spraying stain there is going to be some overspray. I've done it before myself, but some preparation can be made to limit it more than was done. I have stain spots on my wrought iron fence 50 feet away from the work area as well as on my new gutters, my patio, everything. Also, the other fencing that I had stained myself in the past has a much better and thicker coat on it. I will have to restain this fence probably next year... it's got some pretty thin spots. The guy that came out made specific mention that he would have them cover my garden so it wouldn't get damaged... not only were they covered in stain, most of my tomato plants were trampled and broken... the fence guys were able to work around it, but apparently these guys couldn't. My wife found out when going to grab the water hose after work to try to clean them that there was wet stain all over the sprayer from them cleaning up and so now it is all over her hands. It was really wet stain on the sprayer and a long length of hose. Also, where they decided to clean their equipment they washed away a large area of decomposed granite path that was easily and inch deep and now is just mud. They tied our golf practice net to the swing set where it acted like a sail, caught wind and snapped one of the poles so now that is trash. I would not recommend the stain company to my worst enemy. My advice is this... if you want a fence with no stain, call Dave. If you want a fence with stain, call Dave and then get a quote from a stain company to do it separately or simply do it yourself, which is what I should have done in the first place. So my final score represents an A for the Cedar Creek Fences for customer service and installation, but an F for the company he uses for the stain work. That would average out to a C, but I'm going to give a B here because I do think Dave really cares, and really tried to get in the middle of the staining fiasco for me, and his guys do a fantastic job building fences.

I began my fence project by attempting to get three bids, one from another home job site similar to Angie’s List, another one from a company recommended to me by someone else, and then Cedar Creek Fences from Angie’s List. The first one never called me back, and the second took a long time to contact me and a longer time to eventually provide me with a bid. Dave Phillips of Cedar Creek was prompt in responding to my initial contact and setting up an appointment. At our first meeting, he explained exactly what materials that was to be used and the construction process. He answered all my questions and he left me with a very reasonable and as it turned out, a lower bid price. The construction began sooner than promised and the crew did an absolutely wonderful job, with emphasis on detail. I replaced a construction grade (4 yr home) 6 foot wooden fence, with an 8 foot, board on board, using steel post in a 3 foot hole. I added a feature of “boxing in” the post since they were on my side of the fence. The additional cost was worth every penny, and again the construction crew did a great job in trimming them out. The staining of the fence was done later by another crew, who also did a fine job. Each neighbor really likes the results as much as I do and they are talking about having the rest of their fence line replaced later in the year. Dave stayed in communications with me through out the entire process and was prompt in returning my calls, when needed. Fences aren’t cheap so you better be sure you get your money’s worth when you have one built, I know I did. And that person who recommended one of the other companies, well he is going to be contacting Cedar Creek Fences when he has his fence replaced. Thanks Dave, job well done.

Owner Dave Phillips was involved from start to finish. He is an excellent communicator! He responded promptly and at length to our questions and concerns, as well as to the modifications that we required. We considered 3 different fence companies, and Dave's materials and design were head and shoulders above the others. We toured the neighborhood looking at recent fences by each of the three companies and there was no comparison. Dave's fences were the only fences that had the quality we wanted. Importantly for us, he estimated his costs carefully and there were no surprises in his final bill. One of our priorities was high quality lumber. We visited two different lumber suppliers and requested samples from everyone who bid for our job. Dave's boards were higher quality for the same price. Dave gave an initial quote and was receptive to design changes that reduced our cost. He also had the experience necessary to work with the Simplex locks we had purchased; these required very close tolerance in the construction of the gates to get the necessary latch space. Other companies were afraid to try this. We're especially pleased with the way our gates turned out. The two men he sent to build our fence were brothers and long-time builders for Dave. They were highly skilled in carpentry and welding and nice guys to have around. Dave's staining subcontractors came on a day that was windy, so they painted the entire fence with brushes rather than risking poor coverage or a mess. It took twice the time that spraying would have but they only charged $400, which was the original quote.

After contacting three different fence companies and obtaining estimates for building a fence with a high retaining wall, we contracted with Mr Dave Phillips, owner of Cedar Creek Fences! His estimate was right in line with all the others but we loved his professional manner, his attention to details, and his through explanation of all the issues involved in building our fence. We could not be more pleased with the finished project! The fence is beautiful! It was completed on schedule. Dave was the best at communicating all along the process and always arrived when he said he would! He called, texted, and emailed at all the necessary points during the process. His crew was the BEST! They arrived early and worked late! Very, very nice gentleman and definitely hard workers! We would highly recommend Dave Phillips/Cedar Creek Fences to anyone seeking a quality fence! It is such a pleasure to deal with people of integrity.....like Mr Dave Phillips!

Dave was very professional and explained everything about the process. The price was on-par or a little more than some other estimates we had received, but I got a better "vibe" from Cedar Creek Fences and decided to go with them. I don't have any regrets. Our fence is beautiful and sturdy and one of the best looking in my neighborhood.

EXCELLENT!! Dave Phillips (owner) worked with us directly. He came out twice to inspect the job prior to the install - once to provide us with a written quote - and the other to direct his crew prior to their start of the job. He walked the property personally with us both times (all of this on a hill), was not in any rush, and made certain all of our questions were answered. He then came out after it was completed to ensure the job was satisfactory. We chose Cedar Creek Fences because of their excellent ratings and reviews, and we were not disappointed. We purchased a ranch style fencing with four boards running horizontally and wire mesh to fill in the spaces between. This was a larger than normal job to fence in part of our acreage. Cedar Creek Fences fulfilled the contract exactly on time, and with the utmost professionalism. Dave's crew was amazing - respectful and courteous - while working very diligently to complete the job as designed. Our property is in Cedar Hill, and anyone familiar with Cedar Hill knows you hit solid rock just a few inches under. It was NOT an easy job! They did it without complaints, and they dug holes which were very deep and concreted in. This fence isn't going ANYWHERE :-)! We have several large Great Pyranees dogs who have put it to the test and not escaped. We now spend a lot of quality time enjoying the space this created for us. Our neighbors have all complimented the work - saying how beautiful the fence looks. We've even had someone pull in and ask us who built our fence. We gladly recommended Dave Phillips and Cedar Creek Fence Company!

We had a wonderful experience with Dave Phillips and his team. They were so kind and respectful each day! We actually made several changes as the job was moving along,called Dave ,and everyone was completely at ease with making the changes. Also, the price was much better than we expected for everything we wanted. The finished product looks amazing!

Dave was very punctual and thorough as he stepped me through the quote (came in equal to another provider we checked with) and the process of the fence replacement. We had side by side board fence and we replaced with rough cut cedar board on board with cemented metal posts. We elected to box in the posts as we had the post side. The outcome is excellent. Work crew was timely, kept to schedule (3 day job) and asked for guidance when they had questions instead of making incorrect assumptions. They also cleaned up after themselves nicely (construction and stain crews). Extremely pleased with the whole process and would recommend to anyone.

Friendly and knowledgeable, job completed on time

Cedar Creek owner Dave Phillips handled the planning and scheduling himself. I needed a 40-year-old fence replaced with a similar product. Dave offered suggestions for improvement over the original design, including steel posts (standard), 7' fencing (which I was not aware was available), clear cedar pickets (knot-free, at a significant price increase), stain options (which we declined, preferring to let the fence weather naturally), stainless steel nails (also expensive), along with top trim options and a recessed "kick plate" at the bottom to absorb weed whacker attacks and keep the cedar above the wet ground. Dave's suggestions matched what we wanted, and I accepted all except the stainless steel nails and stain. The end result was a fairly high price, but a fair one considering the enhancements; I can't compare the price to other offerings since I didn't get competing quotes. Scheduling was a bit of a problem, since Dave was significantly backlogged due to frequent rains (which he explained at contract signing). The work was done about two months after the contract signing. Dave says this was very usual due to the weather, and it was not a problem for us, since we had no timetable to meet. About a week before the work began Dave contacted us to pick a date and time convenient for us. The two-man crew arrived as planned early in the morning, removed the old fence, and set the new steel posts in concrete. After allowing the concrete to set overnight, they returned the next day (again, early as planned) to complete the job. The entire fence went up in about six hours. The two-man crew, with team-lead Pablo, did a great job. Materials were all high-quality and solidly assembled. In working with Dave I specified a number of changes from the existing fence (minor post relocations, a level top even though the yard itself had a mild slope to it). All was communicated accurately to Pablo, so there were no mis-steps or changes required. The old fence was hauled away, and the area left in good order. It was a great experience working with such a professional crew.

This was the nicest construction experience! Dave was very easy to get a hold of, and a pleasure to work with. He was very knowledgeable and answered every question we had. The communication through out the project was wonderful. As with any outdoor project, you can experience delays due to weather. Those delays were always communicated in a timely manner. Our fence is beautiful, and everything we were led to believe it would be. The crew was exceptional, and very professional. This was a rock dig, and the guys never cut any corners. They left the site clean and tidy every day that they were here. The fence is built very well and we are sure that it will stand for a very long time. The staining of the fence went just as well. Stain was applied only to the fence, which we were very pleased about. We could not be happier with Dave and the guys at Cedar Creek Fences. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They truly are an exceptional company!

Dave is the guy for fence! I interviewed a bunch of companies and decided to go with Cedar Creek Fences because Dave was professional. He was responsive and kept us posted as to when the work was going to start. His crew showed up on time and worked very hard. Took them 1/2 day to remove the old fence and put down new posts then they came back to next day and finished the fence in freezing cold weather. I even felt bad (but very impressed) for them but they plowed through and got it done as promised. They cleaned up well. Our fence looks great, probably the best in the neighbor hood and everyone in my neighborhood has fence! We're very happy and would definitely hire them again.

The entire process went very smoothly. Dave was available via text and phone calls throughout the 3 days. His employees were VERY professional and handled all questions and requests perfectly! On the final day of construction, I walked the end product with the foreman. I pointed out one board that looked 'too chewed' on one corner, and he immediately spent the time to replace it without any hesitation. My wife and I walked it together the following morning (in the daylight) and she noticed several things that we had missed earlier. (Two boards had large splinters/cracks, one piece of top cap was way too mangled, and three boards weren't quite lined up). Dave agreed that all of these issues needed to be fixed and had his crew back out on Saturday to fix them. All in all, the service and quality have been and I feel will be top-notch. The guys even swept the driveway daily and helped me move a large item that was against the fence! I would recommend Dave's company over the chuck in a truck. I feel that Cedar Creek Fences is the best value for the money. AND they were the only company that offered a 7 foot fence! i got quotes from 4 other companies too, and Dave was one of the better prices for apples to apples comparison. We opted to use the fence staining company that contracts with CCF. We have a few more weeks before that company comes to do the staining. I'll update once they finish the stain.

Dave and his crew were knowledgeable, punctual and professional. Cleanup was perfect. Please note that Cedar Creek is a "quality" fence installer; this reflects both in the price and finished product. Highly recommended, if you want a quality fence.

Contract: very good experience. Sales consultant David P. was very knowledgeable; explained and answered all contract points. No pressure, no hidden ?surprises?. Construction: great! Regular size yard was done in one(!) day, including old fence removal (which is a huge challenge by itself). Price: very reasonable. Was not the lowest but second to the lowest in my case. Quality: excellent!! Definitely improves an impression from the property. Overall score = A++

My wife and I live in a community which has a strong home owners association (HOA) so we had to have a certain type of fence with a specific color installed around our backyard. I had contacted a number of fence companies who could not help me due to the required specifications of the fence. When I talked with Dave of Cedar Creek Fence he also advised me his company had not dealt with the type of fence I needed but he would check around and see if he could find a local company which makes the fence. The logic being if our HOA required a certain type of fence for our home then it required the same for all the other homes in the neighborhood. The next day Dave contacted me and advised he had found the company which builds the specific fence I needed. And although the company is located almost two hours from our home Dave said he would take care of everything and be ready to install the fence after the Thanksgiving holiday. As promised, Cedar Creek personnel showed up at our home right on time and installed the fence. And it fit all the HOA requirements to a 'T'. If I ever need another fence I will definitely call Cedar Creek Fence. It's wonderful when a company does exactly as it promises but when the company goes way out of its way to satisfy its customer then there is nothing better. Honest, reliable, fair priced, and excellent workmanship, that is Cedar Creek. Don't go anywhere else if you need a fence.

This is probably the best company I've ever dealt with EVER. Dave, the owner provides the best communication. He replies almost immediately, and he is considerate and friendly. He covered all the bases at the very beginning, and was up front, professional and very transparent about their business. I had a great feeling about them right away. Once the construction started, we had Luis and his crew out to do the work. Luis was AMAZING. He and his guys arrived on time and got to work right away. They were so efficient - they had the fence done in just 2 days. The boxed in posts look so amazing, and their attention to detail is beautiful. This company does true quality work. I'm really floored at how honest and hard-working they are. They were so polite, too. Just all around great company.

I had been planning this project for over a year. I met with 5 different fence contractors. Of that group, Dave the owner of Cedar Creek Fences seemed the most interested in my project. Cedar Creek was not the lowest price but they were the provider that I felt would do the best work and be able to do what I needed. Our project overlaped into 3 neighbors yards and required working with an existing section of fence on a sideyard. I wanted the inside of the fence to look better than the outside and it was important to me that it looked the same on all sides. Dave was able to accomplish this by adding additional rails to the existing sideyard fence, boxing in all posts and adding some additional trim to each section. The end result excedded my expectations. Dave and his crew were great to work with. They listened and understood exactly what i wanted. They built a quality fence that looks great and will last a long time. I highly reccomend Dave at Cedar Creek Fences to anyone needing to build or replace a wood fence.

All work from estimate to painting completed promptly. No complaint so far.

Cedar Creek Fences was great, they had great customer service and were very responsive and open to any questions I had. The price wasn't the least or most expensive of the quotes I received. The quote sheet is very descriptive and easy to read. The fence went in in the amount of time expected and they were very flexible working with me as I had other contractors active at the same time that needed to do landscaping while the fence was down. I plan to use their services again in the future for another project.

We wanted a good quality fence that not only looked great, but given the investment, we wanted something that was going to last. With many Hancock fences in the neighborhood, you would think we would just give them the business. In fact a family member installed a Hancock Fence in the last 3 years, and it came out nice. We drove around looking at other fences, and came across a Cedar Creek Fence in our neighborhood. Only one. It looked immaculate, and we decided to do some more research. As it turns out, we could not find any credible negative reviews of this company. Once we met Dave, and learned of the differences he provides, he seemed to be one to consider. It took us about a week to make a decision, and we are GLAD we did. Luis and his team did an OUTSTANDING job. They were easy to work with, very respectful, and they are VERY good at their craft. I mean, very good. Even boards that I thought looked fine were replaced. The trim work, boxing the posts, the triple trim--looks fabulous. It took about 5-1/2 days, and we have been showing it off ever since. We now have the best looking fence in the neighborhood. Fences are expensive, and normally for that amount, I would had a hard time giving anyone an "excellant" on PRICE, but Dave's prices are VERY competitive. I was happy with what we paid (and it was a lot), but we did price shop, and I had an idea of what they cost going in. Dave was NOT the most expensive, but from looking at all the little touches, you would have expected he is. If I wanted a better price, I would have had to make sacrifices somewhere in the quality (lower grade Cedar), or the company... I HIGHLY recommend Dave Phillips and his team at Cedar Creek Fences. It was one of the best decisions we made regarding home upgrades.
