Since we moved into our home 5+ years ago, we've had Joplin come out every spring and fall to check all 3 systems. In my mind, this is a way to keep the heating and air in check and hopefully catch things before they go wrong. They always call when we're due to schedule our appointment and their technicians are prompt and efficient. I will definitely continue to utilize their services and would recommend them to others!

We have used them for about 6 years now and they are very reliable and extremely professional. Their prices are very reasonable and fair. They also installed a whole house electrostatic air filter which has helped a lot and has reduced our allergies considerably. We would highly recommend them.

The technician who arrived on-site to provide the estimate was prompt, courteous, and very straight-forward. Within 48 hours of accepting the estimate, two technicians were on-site and working. Both the existing indoor and outdoor units were completely removed. The technicians were professional and courteous, and kept me informed of the progress. During the process, there were tools, dust, and parts strewn all over the downstairs area. I say this, becuase at the end of the day, the house was spotless and it appeared that they had never been there. There was not a trace of the old unit anywhere... and the new unit was installed beautifully. A second technician made another trip later in the winter season when it was warm enough to check the charge on the unit. Again, completely professional and friendly. The unit works beautifully and I am thrilled with the service I received from Bill Joplin's Compressor Services, Inc. I highly recommend this company for any of your HVAC needs.

They were very professional and the service rep called ahead and we really appreciated that. He then arrived within 10 minutes of the call. He was very thorough in his explanation and service and the overall experience with him and the company : completely positive.

The experience was good. No surprises. Nothing extra was needed. This is compared to a different company I used 2 years ago that recommended repairs and additions to the units along with service contracts that totaled $14,000! I am very happy with this company.

Technician arrived and I showed where we pulled the carpet back to dry it and showed the wet wall outside. He said he'd never heard of that. Turned on the AC units. One freon line got cold; the line on the other unit stayed room temp. He charged the one. Then proceeded to explain how if it was low on freon, ice could build up on the line up to an inch thick, all the way up the line. Our units are in the attic above our 2 story home. I told him I thought it was condensation up the lines (it's been very humid out) that ran down the lines and pooled along the wall where they run. I've checked the water meter - there is no water leak. He left, chastised me for my air filters, and said if we don't see any more water then that was what was happening. We left the AC units on and sure enough we have water on the floor again. No ice on the lines. We have now noticed mold on the subject wall and are not sure what to do now. We know we won't call Bill Joplins again.

I requested Joplins to come out and inspect my heating and air units after I moved into an 8 year old house. I was previously told by Airmax (a local competitor) that I needed an entire new system for approximately $5400. Since I recently had the house inspected before I purchased it and was told the units were in good working order I suspected foul play. Joplins cleaned some of the air intakes and performed some general maintenance and also informed me that someone had turned off the breaker switch which was why my unit stopped working. I suppose it is possible that the circuit breaker flipped but Airmax did not inform me of that and then simply suggested a complete replacement. I was totally shocked by how Airmax treated me, but was relieved to find a A/C company that was more interested in helping me than in make a quick buck. I am thankful to Angies LIst for having other positive feedback on Joplins which lead me to the decision to call them after the first fiasco.

Excellent. They are very professional and punctual. They performed their job efficently. A minor repair was done the next day and took only a half hour to complete. A broken fan was replaced for only $40.91. The repair technician presented the broken part to me so that I could see the actual need for its replacement - which I appreciate.

It took 3 technician 3 trips to find and fix the problem. I was told to wait from 8 to 12 all 3 times and technicians came around 12 all 3 times. I wasted about 2 days of my time. To their credit, I was only charged trip charge the 1st time. And my furnace was eventually fixed. I called them back for another time to replace thermostats, technician didn't come after 12. There was no phone call either. I called the office and was given a lesson that how an old lady's AC broke and they had to fix hers before mine. I hang up the phone.

My heater quit working over a holiday weekend. I replaced the fuse myself so that we had heat, but I wanted someone to come check out my system to make sure it was OK. The repair man explained the difference in types of fuses and which was better, replaced some burned wires, showed me how to oil my motor when I asked him to, and replaced a relay/timing switch that was causing my heating elements to stay on when the blower was not blowing. (And with this random part replacement, he explained how it worked, showed me the markings on the parts and what they meant, had me listen to the heater cycle on and off before and after part replacement, and showed me the differences in meter readings...he went to a lot of trouble to let me know he wasn't just replacing a part for the fun of it.) He was knowledgeable and helpful.

They are wonderful, consistent, professional, punctual and such a pleasure to deal with.

Overall it went great and they did exactly what we needed them to do.

Even though we were experiencing extremely hot weather and these guys had to work in a hot attic they did so and did an excellent job.

I've used Joplin's for 10 years. They were the contractor for the builder and I figured I'd give them a try. The did such a great job I signed up for their yearly maintenance. I've not regretted it. On several occasions they 'could' have charged me extra for work that they have included under the maintenance contract. In one case this included 4 hours of "after hours" work. They have earned my trust for not trying to "get as much as possible" out of me. That can work in the short term but they have won me as a long term customer.

The experience was fine. I would give him an A on everything. I am going to use him again in the future. I signed up with them for twice and yearly maintenance. They give you a discount if you do sign up for twice yearly maintenance. They contact you and make sure your filters are clean and you have enough Freon. They are very knowledgeable.

It was really good. Another company was trying to get us to buy a heating and air conditioning unit for $10,000. They were very good when it came to cleanliness, promptness and professionalism. I would recommend them and use them again.

I thought the people were very professional and reasonably priced for this service. They were very knowledgeable and helped me get the right size unit for my home. Their quote was $1000 less than other people I called too. It was important for me to choose a company that knew the Peron system since it was a new type of air conditioning unit. This company seemed to know the most about them.

I think they are pretty good. I have this done two times a year and I pay them yearly for it. I think it is well worth it. They are very prompt and they run their business very efficiently. I did have a few problems in the three years I have been using them, but, they always came right out and took care of it. They were also the ones who originally installed the units for the builder.

I have a yearly contract with Joplin's Compressor Service to do the twice yearly visits for maintenance on my heating and air conditioning. He is wonderful and makes the whole thing so easy, calling me to tell me it's time for him to come. He keeps everything running smoothly. I highly recommend his service.

We have lived in a lot of places..and always used service plans to check out our heating and air conditioning units (preventative maintenance). This firm is the best we have ever used. We have used them for 4 years now and are more than satisfied. We pay $69 per unit and we have 3 units. They call you and make an appointment twice a year. Only once in the four years did they have to do any repairs on a unit and the extra cost was $145 to replace a relay.
