 + -1 moreGreat. He was very punctual and polite. Did the work quickly. He was very concerned with quality and having the mortar around the faucet look good. I have 2 other projects in the near future and I will have him back to do those too.
Description of Work: I had a hot and cold water service capped off (indoor) and a water faucet replaced (outdoor).

 + -1 moreI don’t really have a chance to compare their price because I just needed a hot water. He was pretty punctual. He was professional. He did what he was supposed to do. He seems very knowledgeable about what he was doing.
Description of Work: My water tank broke and B+D Plumbing came out for it.

 + -1 moreFrom start to finish, this was a pleasant end to an unpleasant plumbing incident! Bill answered the phone slightly after hours, and agreed to come out the next morning! This was after dealing with a couple of other companies answering services, who couldn't even tell me if anyone would call me back! Bill was courteous and professional. He arrived on time, and finished the job quickly, having the correct parts and tools readily available. His price was quite fair especially considering he finished digging the hole to the outside pipe, filling around the pipe stabilizing the area around the turnoff valve to avoid future problems, and doing the repair in 98-99 degree tempertures ("feels like" about 105!). Additionally, it was an urgent (not emergency) call on Friday and the repair was made on Saturday morning. I agree that B+D Plumbing is exactly the kind of business that Angie's list was made for! We were really pleased with his services and very glad that we called him. His prices were very fair, he worked quickly and knowledgeably, and is a really nice guy. We won't hesitate to call him again. He will always be first person we call for plumbing issues in the future.
Description of Work: Bill repaired the main water line turn-off valve at the house. The valve had broken off when we tried to turn the water back on after shutting the water off to make a small repair.

 + -1 moreOverall a seamless process with a great result. He is the kind of guy that Angie's List was designed to help people find.
Description of Work: Bill Wood is awesome! He is new to Angie's List. We were referred to him by our CPA, who told us that he is a master plumber. BILL IS A RARE FIND!! He is prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and just plain nice. He replaced a valve in our laundry room. The price quoted was really reasonable and he did a great job in diagnosing the problem. He had to go get parts, including an access panel. He promised to get it and return to install it since it was not available at the local hardware supply store. He did that in 1 day and instead of having a hole in the wall we now have an access panel to a shut off valve that was done improperly by the builder. He is a gem. With Bill you will get an expert who does excellent work for a fair price, on time. I went to the trouble of adding him to Angie's List because he is such a nice guy and so capable. He needs to promote himself! In a time where all of this big companies up-sell and charge crazy hourly rates, it is rare to find a small business owner who is so reliable and fair. Hire Bill!
