floor cleaning
+ -1 moreThe process took from 9 am till 2:30 pm at which time Art went to the neighbor to do his smaller job. At 3:30, Art came back(after calling first), and put all the heavy furniture back, plus helping us with the smaller furniture. He could not do enough for us, and would not leave until we were sure that we had everything back in it's proper place.
Description of Work: We moved as much furniture as we could from den and kitchen. Art moved the rest. We had the two rooms scrubbed and sealed and finished. It looks totally fantastic! Even under the refrigerator! Art was prompt, exceedingly careful, unbelievably knowledgable, and a joy to have in the house. He has saved my sanity, since I could not find anyone else to do my floors. We didn't get the 10% senior discount, (probably because I didn't know to ask for it), but we did get a 5% discount because we referred him to a neighbor. I do not get along well with carpet and floor men, mostly because I am such a perfectionist. And so is Art. It was a very satisfying experience.

carpet cleaners
+ -1 moreArt is very punctual and efficient! He helps move furniture, places high-density blocks he supplies under anything that can't be moved. Art is extrememly knowledable and has written a book on carpet care! He does the mansions in Highland park and many high-end rugs/carpets arount town.
Description of Work: Art cleaned all of downstairs, 18 stairs and teen's bedroom upstairs. He does a really thorough job and doesn't leave till you are statisfied.

+ -1 moreI have also bought his book, and got tips from him on how to clean things up. He came out last year to clean a red wine spill. He so helpful! He always moves my furniture and does a great job cleaning!

carpet cleaners
+ -1 moreHe is very fast and efficient. Even though he uses a water extraction method, he sucks out all of the water so you aren't left with wet carpet. It is very deep cleaning. I was very impressed with him. He put my furniture on blocks so my stuff wasn't ruined by the cleaning. He has even written a very good book about carpet cleaning.
Description of Work: Arthur Colon came and cleaned my carpets.
