2 Mom's Cleaning Service

I hired this company for weekly cleaning even though they charged a 3rd more than my last company on their promises that they would do a great job (as I told them what I needed to be done) and be reliable. I should have cancelled them after the initial clean as it they charged me extra but it lacked in detail - to give an example I had 4 people spend 6 hours in my house to do an initial clean a couple of years ago and they didn't charge me extra to do it, 2 Moms charged extra and had 4 people who spent only 2 hours cleaning the house and after I had to ask why they had not done certain things, I even had to use my own Dyson to vacuum my rug in the family room as it was full of hair from the dog still the hour after they had vacuumed - when I showed her the contents of the vacuum from that rug the following week she didn't know what the problem was, I then asked them to use my vacuum as theirs obviously was not working correctly, they agreed but added 'if it breaks we're not responsible for it', fine at least my carpets would be clean. I had to text each week on the day to find out what time they were coming as I was never told. Each week I had to remind them to do basic tasks ie. polish certain things that they missed (TV, telephone holder, wooden chair, shelves in bathroom), mop the floor properly (as my daughter's socks were filthy), wipe off the surfaces in the bathroom so there were not water marks left etc. basic cleaning items. When I asked them how many times they changed the water when moping my floors they said they don't like to use a mop and bucket they just mist the floor with a water sprayer and Swiffer it!!!! My floor never got mopped by them and when I did it myself was disgusting. One week I asked them to vacuum around the carpet edges as it had not been done since they started the month before, and with my animals hair builds up (things I had mentioned before they started), I was told 'if I wanted extra work done I should give them notice before they arrive', we then had a long conversation about why this was considered 'extra' as to me vacuuming the edge of my carpet is not additional cleaning services, when I clean my own house I do this every 1 to 2 weeks. I told them to not vacuum 2 rooms each week as they were barely used so they had extra time to do the more important/ used areas of the house and still they left without cleaning an entire bathroom which I then had to do myself. The next week I asked if someone wouldn't mind helping me to put a bedskirt on my bed, I was told that would be an extra charge. The following week they called me 5 minutes before they were due to show up and clean and told me one of the girls was sick and they would not be coming, when I asked them when they could make they told me not only weren't they coming that day, but that they were not coming at all that week, leaving me in the lurch. The following week 36 hours before they were due to come and do 2 weeks worth of cleaning (as they hadn't come the week before due to the sickness of 1 girl) they texted me (yes you are reading it right, TEXTED me) to tell me they weren't coming back at all, ever!!!! To sum up they are unreliable, unprofessional, not detailed and expensive - I would not recommend them to anyone.

We had another cleaning service do a "deep clean" a few weeks before. We were very disappointed. Laura came and gave us an estimate and a list of her services. She is very professional. They came the next monday and WOW. We now have them clean every other Wednesday. At $90 for a routine cleaning, their price is a bit above the average, but when we come home the house is spotless. You get what you pay for.

They are very good. I will definitely use them again.
