Everything went well. I don't call companies back if jobs did not go well before. I would give them top marks across the board.

+ -1 moreThe work quality was okay, I got a bit of a shock in the middle of it. I asked them to paint the bathroom totally and when they were halfway through, they asked if I wanted them to do the trim too and I asked them if that wasn't included when I told them I want the bathroom painted and they said no so I ended up shelling out another thousand dollars for that, that didn't seem that right. I don't think I would use them again.

+ 13 moreI Met with the Hunny - Doo's Owner/Representative some time during September 2012 To discuss The job. I gave him an architectural drawing and a list of requirements. At this time I advised him the job couldn't be started until early January 2013. later he provided a written Proposal after some negotiation and subsequent changes we both concurred and the contract was signed. In Then mean time He brought several Sub Contractors to examine their respective areas of responsibility, In each such instance these people were introduced to me. I asked him to plan his work so we would have the necessary security for us during the work stage. He understood completely, saw to it we were secure to the maximum extent possible. .Early January 2013 The demolition of the Dining Room, TV Room And about one third of the Roof Began and was completed in about two weeks, this included all or partial removal of the foundation and cement flooring of the two rooms. After the demolition Phase the concrete man drill many holes into the existing floor and foundation and set rebar to tie in the new concrete to the old. Trenches were dug and concrete poured for the foundation,floor and Patio. Then the framing, followed by installation of AC wiring, insulation, windows, door, Etc. all work was accomplished by highly skillful workmen and checked by the owner frequently, if he saw something he didn't agree with it was taken care of immediately. The job was completed late Feb early Mar.2013 I am pleased with the selection of HUNNY _ DOO'S Inc. All The workmen were knowledgeable, skilled and trustworthy. The owner/representative listens, understands and willing to teach those of us the that know less than we think we do.

Description of Work: I had a large amount I'd work done to the exterior of my house. New roof new hardy plank siding, facia boards & soffits. Also had all new windows installed. I had some extensive termite & water damage. That was all replaced or rebuilt. I will be using this company again in the future.

Description of Work: I needed a dog door installed and were very happy to help and responded quickly. The two men were very friendly, trustworthy and seemed like they have been at this a long time because they are very good at there job. They were quick and efficient. They charged by the hour and were actually finished before the hour. My door was actually having some problems closing properly and even though they werent there to fix that they offered to, and it still took the hour they estimated!!

Description of Work: They demo'd the existing sink bar area, to lower the heighth of the back of the existing island/sink area in the kitchen. They added cabinets to the back of the island and new countertop to line up with the existing cabinet. They also moved plugs and garbabge disposal switch. They installed new cabinets throughout the kitchen, and built counter tops to fit. They installed new formica laminate as well.

+ 1 moreHoney Doos was able to come the day I asked for them to come. They had follow up work to do the following day on the repair and again showed up on time and completed the work as planned. The job was small however I would look to them again if I have a bigger job to do.
Description of Work: Honey Doos repaired the drywall in the ceiling where the plumbers had opened up the ceiling to repair the plumbing. They were very well prepared to ensure that they did not get the carpeting dirty or any other part of the house. The were on time and quite prompt to get the job done which was good becuase the work was being paid by the hour.

+ 1 moreThe crews were polite and professional, they were on time and performed the work that they did well. They just didn't diagnose the problem well and didn't fix the original problem.
Description of Work: The problem was that water was seeping between the roof and facias and rotting out the eaves and facia boards. They replaced the boards and repainted and did a pretty good job. Then added a run of guttering. The problem with the guttering is that they put the downspout in the wrong place and said they would come back and change it, but never did. Their work did not correct the original problem which was a drip edge that did not extend far enough under the shingles and let water seep into the eaves. This continued until I had the house roofed this year. I have been much more satisfied with the work done by Douglas Remodeling than that done by Hunny Doos.

The owner came out within the hour, saw that the broken glass was on the front of my townhouse and I was losing air-conditioning. He had two men at my house within 30 minutes, and the window replaced within an hour and a half. They measured, left to get the glass, installed it neatly and professionally, and cleaned up the broken glass. The price seemed a bit high for a piece of glass, but considering the quick and professional response, the convenience was well worth it. I will call them again.

+ 0 moreThe owner came out to review my needs, sent an estimate by email. My only issue was that I had to wait a week for them to work me in. However, I needed a portion of the work done more quickly, and they accommodated me and sent two electricians to move a ceiling fan to a location above a bed that was scheduled for delivery. They were back at 8 am the next morning to install the light fixtures and new ceiling fan in another room. They were quick, professional, friendly, and creative in devising a way to make the installation neat and attractive. I will call them again.

+ 7 moreA major hail storm (baseball size + 70mph horizontal winds for 1 hr) devastated our home. I called Hunny Doos and in a matter of days received a detailed estimate for repairs. Once matters with the Insurance Co were settled, repairs began with very little delay. The repairs took almost 4 weeks to complete, including roof replacement, complete replacement of siding, interior home repairs including sheetrock replacement, molding and trim replacement and painting (interior and exterior). We also had our detached garage repaired with new siding, roof and a new door. Hunny Doos provided a high level of professionalism in getting the repairs made, suggesting cost efficient alternatives and responding promptly to all requests and communications. I will use (and am currently using) the company again for home repairs and remodeling.
Description of Work: Major hail storm caused massive damage to siding, roof, home interior, windows and fencing. Hunny Doos repaired/replaced (or oversaw the repairs) of all the home siding, fencing and home interior (including sheetrock replacement, window frame replacement and repair, ceiling repair, roof replacement, interior room molding and trim replacement, interior and exterior painting, door replacement and repair, exterior lighting replacement and repairs to exterior walls with old termite damage.

She was raving about how great of a job they did, plus, how professional they were. I needed two windows installed on my home. Like a lot of other people down here in the Rio Grande Valley, my windows where broken out during that sever hail storm. I had ordered two beautiful American Craftsmen vinyl windows from my local Home Depot, at a cost of $900.00, so I wasn't about to just trust the job to just anyone. I looked up Hunny - Doo's status on Angie's list on a Sunday, and it only confirmed what our family friend had said to us. So I called them 1st thing Monday morning and spoke with Marshall Magnum. He's one of the owner's of Hunny - Doo's Inc. We spoke on the phone and I requested an estimate based on the size of the windows. He said that he would need to see the home 1st, but he gave me the estimate after I told him that I wouldn't hold him to it if there was anything unforeseen. Mr.Marshall then sent out Ted Burns, who is the other owner of Hunny - Doo's Inc. Ted called, arrived promptly, and was very polite and easy going. He explained to me that he and Marshall both held a degrees in their chosen fields and I was very impressed with this. Ted then looked over the windows, took his measurements, and then proceeded to do the same for the enclosure. After he was done with this he began praising me for using the correct measurements and ordering the right windows. He kept telling me that I had done a good thing here, and it made me feel a lot more at ease about everything. My home is all brick, so had I ordered things wrong it would have involved unbricking the opening to accommodate the new windows, and replacing the 25 year old bricks with accent bricks (everything I was trying to avoid). So I was 100 % relieved.

I was able to get an appointment within five or six days from the time that we spoke. Ted arrived with his crew (two men) at 8:00 on the dot! He introduced them to me, went over the job very briefly with them, and then left them to their work. The men immediately got down to business. They took their own measurements to double check everything for themselves, and started in on the windows. They made short work of a very involved job, and made it all look real easy too. They measured at every turn, and handled the windows with great care. Everything they did was well thought out, and very clean (they kept the vacuum cleaner very handy throughout the entire job). Also, let me explain that the windows are bright white vinyl, and that they were clean of any fingerprints when all was said and done! Tony & Al were very personable and professional to deal with. I felt very comfortable with them, and would have them back in my home again. They were sticklers for accuracy and take great pride in what they do. They took a short 30 minute lunch break, and returned promptly. I even noticed Mr.Magnum drive by once during their break while I was outside talking with my neighbor, so he runs a tight ship. When they were finished with the job they kept on bragging about how great they did, and they were 100% RIGHT! It was really funny. I've had the widows installed since Thursday the 28th of June, and I'm still admiring their handy work! I highly recommend Hunny - Doo's Inc to everyone in the RGV!I'll never call anyone else again! They do everything except for lawn service, and they really care about the work that they do, which is the hardest thing to find out here in the valley. A lot of people in the valley are very handy, but sorely lacking when it comes to the service side of things. NOT Hunny - Doo's Inc!Go there if you want a job well done at a price that is correct for the job.

Left message and received a call the next day only to be told they were booked all week. I was informed I would receive a call the following week to see if I could be scheduled. Waited a week and nothing. Called again, left message and no response. After waiting the two weeks, we went with another company.

The owner answers calls quickly and has always responded to my requests with accurate and free appraisals..the guys are neat and cleanup is timely. For cement work, most was done in two days..same with any paint jobs or electrical work..they will make u happy or come back and correct things, a promise I never needed. Of all the things I checked, I still have not used them for roofing. The work is completed on time and I always tipped the hard workers for the professional job.t. the owner always returned to ensure that his guys work was as promised..I would trust this company compoletely wih any small jobs and most medium jobs..c

The company owner called several times to see how things were progressing and when jobs were completed he came for payment and to check on the quality of his employees work. I do not hesitate to recommend this company for repairs and installation of minor household work projects. They have not performed major remolding or construction projects at our home.
