Flamingo Pools Intl Ltd

If I could give a grade lower than an "F" Flamingo Pools and their owner Dennis Gomez deserve it. It took several calls to get them to start the project, and I had to go through the Better Business Bureau to get them to finish it. They did not want to give me the upgrades that I paid for in advance. I think they used refurbished parts, since many expensive parts did not last even a year. Their work was shoddy, and not one of the installers spoke English, If I had a question, they would have to call the office for a translator. I took photos all through the process, so I have lots of proof. They installed the cheap ladder that came in the pool box instead of the steps I had paid for. I fell off that ladder and broke my foot, I'm just wondering what will break this year, When they finally installed the large steps I had purchased, they refused to leave my yard until I signed a letter to the BBB saying they had finished the job. Honestly, I just wanted them gone. Everytime they get a bad review with the BBB, they change their name. Last I heard, it was RGV Flamingo Pools. I can think of more appropriate names.

I had a terrible experience with Flamingo Pools. I would avoid this company and its owner Dennis Gomez if you do not want this happening to you. I paid the owner Dennis with cash for a pool cover in November because he insisted I pay him in cash. Months passed and he did not give me the pool cover I paid him for. He kept blaming it on the pool cover company but I later found out the real problem was that he had kept the money I paid him. Only until I sat down with a detective with the BROWNSVILLE POLICE did he finally give me the pool cover I paid him for, and even then he stalled and it took forever. In all I waited months for him to do a simple thing. He kept lying, avoiding my calls and in general created a nightmare for me and my family. Please do not use this company for your pool. In my opinion he is extremely unproffessional and should be avoided.
