We paid to have a tree removed and the roof to be repaired. They repaired the top of the house but didn’t repair the side. And left a giant mess in the yard. They didn’t not pick up anything! We have roofing, nails, scrap wood, etc… everywhere! Do not use these people!

After replacement on April 26, 2016, roof leaked so badly that ceiling and walls now need to be replaced! I called him after first rain to let him know the roof leaked, ceiling was sagging, paneling on wall was buckling and there was water on the floor. He said, "No way it leaked". It took 2 months of repeated calls and texts before he finally came by to check damages on July 5. At that time, Mr. George said, "Oh, I see what the problem is". I ask him what needed to be done and how quickly he could do it because with every rain the cost of repairing the interior was increasing? After two more months of repeated calls and texts, he came by on August 2 and stuffed foam under edge. At that time he gave me a totally different story regarding what he said should have been done. The roof continued to leak badly. I sent him a text on August 15 to let him know the roof was continuing to leak and I needed to have problem corrected. He has never responded. I got 4 more quotes from other roofers who all said the exact same thing about the shoddy job Mr. George had done. He even put down new metal on top of branches and leaves that had fallen off pecan tree. He left one corner totally uncovered which allowed water to short out plug on wall below. The flashing was not secured and standing up 2" in one place. When screwing down metal roofing, he missed rafters and the metal was unsecured. It bounced up and down when other roofers were on roof checking condition prior to giving me new quotes. I hired someone else at 2 1/2 times the original cost to totally redo roof. I got ripped off by a completely unprofessional and unethical con man!

Mr. George did a wonderful job replacing my old roof. I had gotten his name from a friend who'd had her roof replaced by him. I'd already gotten 3-4 other estimates prior to Mr. George. (Part 1): I knew Mr. George was the one I was going to use as soon as he came out and found the source for a mysterious leak in the center of my house -- under the second story. No other company from whom I had received estimates was able to tell me *definitively* where the leak was coming from. But none of the other companies actually got onto the roof to investigate, they just guessed. (One contractor wanted to saw into my ceiling to the floor above to find the leak!) According to Mr. George, it turned out to be the tin covering around the pipe for the toilet which had been chewed to nothingness by squirrels sharpening their teeth. He came back the next day with a fix for the problem and installed one with a good rubber seal that the squirrels would not be interested in. (Part 2): We then discussed the main leak in my roof (in a small added-on room to the house) which had been leaking for years and finally got so bad I HAD to do something about it. The decking boards underneath the shingles were VERY rotted and had to be replaced. He was able to start the job within days of giving me the estimate. Once they got the shingles off, there were more rotten boards than they had figured so had to get more. Plus, once the boards were removed, the insulation itself was soaking wet! He installed new insulation and replaced all that needed replacing. Of course, it added to the original estimate, but I knew everything was getting done properly. It took three days and I had to leave on business the day after they started. Now when it rains, I look into that small room and smile, knowing my leaks are gone. I highly recommend Mr. George to anyone looking for a new shingle or metal roof.
