Excellent job. It’s all done now and satisfactory. Loving the new roof in these rain storms and my bedroom won’t sound like I’m sleeping behind a waterfall with those great new gutters. Zach did an excellent job.

On August 3, 2018, I purchased the Angie’s List deal - Roof Tune Up Plus $100 Repair Credit by GAF-Factory-Certified Contractor for $99.00. Shortly after the purchase, I received a call from Ernie representative Mark Stadtfeld. We scheduled an appointment for him to come out and inspect my roof. When we talked, I indicated that my concern was the how my roof (12+ years old) was holding up relative to the last two hurricanes we experienced. Mark advised me of what his inspection would include and got right to work. He must have been on my roof for almost an hour. When he returned he advised me that he saw no signs of damage. He did tell me my roof had lost a lot of granules which had collected in my gutters. Additionally, Mark showed me several pictures taken on his phone and explained any issues or concerns that he had. He concluded that my roof should be good for another 5 – 10 years depending on storms. Overall, Mark’s professionalism and knowledge shone through the entire process. Nice Job.

Excellent experience with Ernie Smith and Sons. William was very deliberate in finding the origin of the leak. He actually came out twice to confirm his findings and to ensure that the solution would correct the problem. The workmanship was very professional and blended into the existing roof expertly. I would recommend them for any roofing issues.

Ernie Smith & Sons Roofing was professional from the initial contact through the follow up after the roof was installed. I was given an estimate based on the roof inspection. Roof was ordered and installed in a timely manner and follow-up with warranty was provided. The GAF Timberline HD roof and premium system is high quality and gives me the security I need for protection against wind and hail. I chose this company based on their Angie's List rating, and after completion I am happy to also rate them as an excellent company.

Very professional. He took pictures of my roof before and after he did the work to show me exactly what was needed. I really appreciated that.

The service guy said he patched the roof around the rotunda area at center of my house. This is the main reason I ordered their service, and I told the guy so, because it had leaked a couple times when it rained hard. That was in June 2017. Just recently, in December 2017, it rained and the same roof area leaked again causing paint peeling on the ceiling (see pictures). Bad service!

They arrived promptly and did a thorough check on my roof and explained the findings in detail.

Excellent. Went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the work. Lead jacks surround PVC now and shingles replaced. All roof penetrations were reworked. Eave sealed with flashing so attic is now "critter-proof". Special recognition to Seth Linares for his professionalism and genuine interest in providing quality work to his clients.

Seth and Antonio were extremely helpful in identifying the issue and didn't even charge me for the water test. They took pictures of the damaged stucco at the top of my chimney to help me get quotes for the repair. They were able to quickly diagnose the issue that several 'handymen' were not able to figure out and were very professional and responsive. I would definitely hire them again.

Great! The inspector actually patched the damage during the inspection for free, preventing further damage just in time to save my house from extensive water damage during Hurricane Harvey!

I didnt get any appointments or service

Did not start when they said they would, then worked one day and left for over a week. (Weather was nice and sunny that week.) Finally came back and finished a week later. When I had a question, there was no one on the job site who spoke English. Finally one of the workers called someone on his cell phone who told me he was the supervisor and very rudely told me he and the workers were not suppose to talk to me and if I had a question I needed to contact the sales person.

I contacted the company on 9/25 and was told the request would be forwarded to the scheduler who would contact me to arrange an inspection and estimate. After not hearing back, I called again on 9/28 and was told they had no record of my earlier call, but would again arrange for a scheduler to call me. As of today (10/5) I have still not heard anything. Perhaps they are too busy with other work. If so, I just needed to be told that and I would have moved on instead of wasting my time

Ernie Smith and Sons have done work for us twice before. Once again, they were quick to respond to the request for an estimate. Price was very fair. We agreed and work was completed on schedule. They were thorough and thoughtful while working around our house. They cleaned up afterwards to pre-work standards. Terry called afterwards to make sure we were happy with the results. I highly recommend Ernie Smith and Sons for your roofing and siding repairs.

Everything went very well. From getting the estimate to getting the work done, it was all great. On the day of the work the guys showed up on time and finished it all in one day. They were very professional and clean. The whole area was cleaned well before they left. I will recommend them to others.

This is a update to the last review I did. It went very well. Sam came by first and talked to me about the leak that still needed to be fixed and said they would fix it for free since it wasn't done right the first time. They went above and beyond by replacing 3 vents instead of just that one where the leak was. Seth who was very courteous and professional came out today and did all work.

Arrived on time, excellent job, cleaned up ---very pleased

Good except my roof is leaking again in the exact same spot that I hired them to fix only about 2 months ago. They also did a tune up on the rest of the roof. Sam Smith came by and checked the leak again and said they will fix it at no charge. I will update this review again once the work is done.

They couldn't do it all in one visit and scheduled a 2nd visit. I'm satisfied with the work they did

Good. Small job less than a day. Easy payment at the end of the job with credit card over the phone.

To hire them - It was the worst mistake I ever did. They ruined 6-7 screens. Over sprayed the house.
