Working with Bryan Hand was a very good experience. He came to our house, listened to what we wanted, and gave us a quote. After getting the quote, we decided to just install new pool equipment and heater to start with in April 2022. In October 2022 (after the swimming season was over), we had the pool and hot tub re-plastered, the hot top resurfaced with new stone, installed new flagstone and new rocks to the beach entry, and added a new diving rock . The pool looks great. Bryan and his team did a great job. After about a month, we noticed that the hot tub had developed a leak, and I called Bryan right away. He sent his guys out, and it ended up being a very minor problem that they were able to fix in a very short amount of time (a tiny spot around one of the jets where the water was leaking through). They sealed the spot, and everything is all good now. I would definitely recommend Bryan Hand and Handcrafted Pools.

We took bids from several companies for a full in-ground pool remodel of our 18K gal in-ground gunite with a curved wall water feature. Bryan, the owner of Handcrafted Pools, came out to do the estimate and review the project with us. His cost estimate came in between the high and low marks, but his knowledge, professionalism and friendliness were far above par compared to other companies. The estimate was highly detailed and easy to understand compared to all other bidders. Once we accepted the bid, work started in about 3 weeks, which we thought was fair. Bryan made sure we were constantly informed of what part of the project was starting when, and correctly estimated when each part would be completed (demolition, re-tiling, re-plastering, etc.). All crews showed up on time and the quality of work was excellent. From start-to-finish, the entire project was complete in under two weeks and within our budget with no cost overruns. We cannot be more pleased with the result. Bryan and his team far exceeded our expectations, and we are so relieved and happy with our choice to trust his company. From the initial contact, the timely estimate, the constant updates and communication to the stellar work performed and resulting outcome, we are absolutely gobsmacked at the end result! The Handcrafted Pools team was always early, always approachable and friendly, and showed genuine concern and reassurance that the completed project would exceed our expectations. Every question or concern was addressed perfectly and with our complete satisfaction. Even when we had a problem with our equipment on pool start-up after the remodel, his team came out next-business day to fix it. On top of that, Bryan came out after the pool re-opened to help us nail down our water chemistry to ensure our new plaster and tile would remain in great condition, and even took last-minute phone calls and emails with questions on what chemicals were needed and what the water tests should show. How's that for customer service? Simply amazing. Two weeks after project completion and we (literally!) cannot stop going outside to admire the transformed oasis in our back yard. â Awesome,â doesnâ t begin to describe it, or our experience with Handcrafted Pools. We enthusiastically give Handcrafted Pools our highest recommendation to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy company to take on a project like this, or any other regular maintenance needs. They are not the cheapest, but they don't do cheap work or use cheap materials. They lived up to their motto of exceeding customer expectations, and we couldn't be happier.

Bryan is one-of-a-kind when it comes to pool contractors. We had four different bids for a major pool resurfacing including new tile, change in plaster type, new pool wiring and lights, rebuilding the spa step, new spa blower, and mastic. While Bryan's bid was 2nd highest of the four, paying the extra was so well worth it for us. He kept his promises, stayed in touch every day via phone call or text, was always here when his sub-contractors showed up, and whenever new or unexpected issues showed up on the job, he always tried to suggest all possible alternatives to save expenses when we wanted or needed to. He has 15+ year positive relationships with his sub-contractors (plaster, stone, electrical, etc.) and when something comes up unexpectedly, like rain or cold weather, his subs are always willing to work with him on the spur of the moment basis. Bryan's inter-personal and professional skills are truly exceptional and we always had that wonderful feeling that we could believe in and trust what he said and what he promised to do. We are not only 100% thrilled with the finished product, we will be using Handcrafted Pools for our pool service needs from now on.

I hired Hand Crafted to service my filter. The service person was on time and very professional. After looking at my filter, he determined that he could not service it and recommended another alternative. I REALLY appreciate his honesty. There was no charge for the time and effort. It is refreshing to deal with honest people. I would highly recommend this company.
